    Interesting decor
    Paul S.

Today is Wednesday, June 26, 2024, this was our very first time eating at the cotton duck Café, we had been out running errands and we were hungry and we figured we would give them a chance. Staff was pleasant enough you walk up to the counter you order your food and they bring it to your table, I got the steak and cheese Panini. First of all it came on white bread, not Panini bread so it's not a Panini. Secondly the food was tasty, except see the pictures below. There was no meat in half of my sandwich very disappointing. My wife got the. Honey ham and cheese croissant, two slices of ham, one slice of cheese on a croissant drizzled with honey. She had the same issue half of her sandwich was missing meat. We really wanted this to be a good place that we could come frequently, unfortunately I don't think we will be back.

Absolutely love this place! I am big fan of local coffee shops. The one is perfect. The coffee is really great. The peppermint mocha (apparently they make their own peppermint) is the best I've ever had. My other favorites include the Church Lady Duck (butterscotch), and Ginger Duck. The kids also love this place. The decor is cute and the staff is sooo friendly. There is quite a bit of seating, including some outside. I've been in several times now and never had a bad experience. You have to try this place.

First time trying this today and boy did they impress me! I tried the frozen rustic duck with oat milk and wow this will definitely be my go to spot for coffee hot/cold or frozen! Also have to give credit to the decor it somehow reminded me of the show "Friends"

We stopped in while visiting friends to have lunch. The staff is super friendly and helpful when ordering. The inside has seating up front for a causal sitting with chairs and couch or tables to enjoy food. I ordered the Hot Rustic Duck (Vanilla Bean) SF. It was made quickly and had a good rich flavor of coffee that you could tell there was coffee and flavoring. My friend got the Cold Rustic Duck (Vanilla Bean) with Sf foam. It was also very tasty and flavorful. Her Hubby got the Hot Mocha Duck (Chocolate) and it was rich with flavor. We also had some sandwiches: BLTC, Cold Ham Croissant and the Pizza Panini. All the food was made fresh and came out quickly. Overall a great experience. Can't wait to come back and try more!!

Decent service but the menu is very limited. They want you to spend on quirky drinks that you may not be thrilled with.

Talk about old school. This was an interesting discovery. There are several buildings including a…read moreFarmers market so I wasn't sure where the restaurant was. I went in the Farmer's Market first. It looks like an old barn. There were lots and lots of homemade choices- "canned" soup bases, fruits, vegetables, salsas, jams, flavored oils to name a few. There were also fresh fruits, nuts, honey, vegetables, dairy products and cakes. There are four areas you can eat. The main "restaurant" is small with only a few tables. Evidently it's a favorite of older local gentlemen to gather for an early breakfast. There is also the "Pig Sty," "The Chicken Coop" and the farmer's market area. Some of these can be cold in the winter and warm in the summer so dress accordingly. The farmer's market area is heated by a wood stove. The staff here are so friendly. It felt like we were visiting family. The food was good ole country food. The hubby and I each ordered the breakfast plate. I had coffee with my choice of several flavored creamers. If you pay in cash you get a discount. If you are in the area you should check it out. You can order from the breakfast or lunch menu. Plan to stay a few extra minutes and look around and support local farmers. We brought home some boiled peanuts. Fun experience and good breakfast.

Said they could cook my bacon on the griddle away from other things . Explained that everything on the jam bar was gluten free and even had a sign asking customers to not have their plates near the bar for fear of cross contamination. You go in, stand in a line and order. Plenty of seating , great music, and delicious gluten free biscuits!!! I am not celiac , very gluten intolerant.

Rather it's savory or sweet, this place has your biscuit desires covered. I have been here four times and always left happy. Their biscuits are crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Only complaint is that they are slightly dry. Probably just need a bit more butter right? Lol. Though the biscuits are not the best I have had, the overall experience is very good. Though no longer on the menu, you can still order the Biscuit w/ Gravy Flight, which is one of my favorite things here. They're all pretty delicious, but that sausage gravy really enhances the biscuit since it takes away some of that dryness. Of the sandwiches, I love the Fried Bologna Benedict the most. My least favorite is the extra salty Country Ham Biscuit. The Mimosa Fried Chicken Sandwich is not bad either, but order it without that sweet sauce on top. And if you like simple, just get a biscuit with some sausage and eggs. Don't forget, they have a whole jams and spreads station. Make sure to take advantage of that for a sweet finish. I personally enjoy the Peach Rosemary, Strawberry, and Sweet Potato Chai. Btw, extremely sweet and kind service. I had a cappuccino that was a bit too light. I offered to pay for an extra espresso shot. Instead of charging me, the server sent me back with a brand new cup of cappuccino with the extra shot. Then she stopped by to ask if it was made properly three minutes later. Every time I have been to Greenville, I have made a pitstop here. This factory of biscuits may not be the best around, but I just appreciate the atmosphere and friendly service. By no means am I saying their biscuits are not good because I would be extremely ecstatic if we had something similar in NYC.
