I left this morning because no one ever came out to take my order. They were all busy filling drive thru orders and the new in-store kiosk orders to even notice me standing there for 10 minutes. Ridiculous. My guess is that corporate only measures time to order/fill for drive thru so that's all the supervisor focuses on. Ended up going to the McKnight location and was greeted immediately and out with my order in five minutes. Their drive thru was just as busy. read more

Wow! Went there today, and the service was amazing! What happened? It looked like this restaurant was under new management...I have never witnessed such a drastic and improved change in a restaurant- period! And I eat out just about every day for 20 + years. I normally don't write reviews but I had a great experience at this McDonald's. I had to get a fast meal for 4 and was looking to save some money. I asked a very friendly employee what was the best deal and they said I could get a Pens Dinner Pack, which normally costs $15.99, but if I use the app there is a 20% off deal which means I got 2 double cheese burgers, 2 McCrispys a basket of fries and 20 Chicken McNuggets for $12.79!!! Stopped here on my way to work and there was a line to order. After about 10 minutes, people started walking out of the line out of frustration. The workers could clearly see there was a line, but no one came to take our orders. After some more time, I asked if they are only taking drive in orders and then they finally sent someone to take the people's in lines orders. Horrible attention and service. The workers seemed stressed and a little incompetent. It wasn't even that busy. Food took awhile after finally ordering. Tired of the bickering that comes with picking a place to eat you kind of just cave in and go with the flow with who you are with. That's what happened when we ended up here. For some odd reason we always end up riding around and pick a place after the fact. For the most part it is what I expected of a McDonald's. Your typical looking, run of the mill location. Purchased an apple pie today from west view pa McDonald's, this is what I got, buyers beware. Un-dated, un-sealed apple pie, so old or overcooked that you could use it for a hammer, the insides of it so dried up you couldn't find moist or apples in it. How awful, we went to McDonalds site to complain about this, they blow you off and they don't allow you to ad pictures, they do not want people to see the garbage they sell. We took the pie back and asked for the manager, this is what the manager said and I quote "We are out of pies so they used the old ones." WTF? I was in the area and decided too stop quick for a bite too eat. I sore a huge line at the drive up so I decided too go in instead. That was probably as big a mistake as it would of been to stay on drive thru line. I was 2nd in line walking in and it took literally 10 minutes for them to get to me to take my order. Shame on you guys terrible customer service and extremely slow. They seemed too be taking the drive up orders first then the walk ins. There where more employees working on the drive up window than inside which there was only one cashier. I ordered two hamburgers with extra pickle and a large fry. The only positive thing I can say is the order was correct and the food was the same as every other McDonalds. I would not go too this McDonalds again unless I saw that there was no line on the drive thru. Ridiculous waiting almost 20 minutes too order and get food in a fast food place. read more

Select another McDonalds. I had a bad experience today. After more than a 25 minute wait and the 4th vehicle in the next isle was ordering while I waited in the drive through line. As I drove away, finally they were ready to take my order. The speaker was at the back of my vehicle. I said it was too late and too far away and I would order at the window. I was not upset about the wait. I knew they were extremely busy and, probably, short handed. When I got to the window, a person came to the window and verbally jumped at me stating she tried 4 or 5 times to get my order. I said that was not true. I just wanted to order my food. She said she did not like how I responded and refused to take my order. While waiting in line, I said hello a couple of times thinking they forgot about me. I heard the others being asked for their orders in the isle next to me. She refused to take my order and told me to move on. She actually called the police when I demanded I order my food. I kept calling her a liar. I left because I was holding up the line. I then went to a much more customer friendly McDonalds in Bellevue. I only went to another McDonalds because that is what my husband wanted for lunch. What if I, actually, could not hear her asking for my order. If I could rate this place a zero I would do it, my dad went into this McDonald's today August 6, 2019 and got 6 big macs and out of 6 big macs 3 of them had no meat at all just cheese lettuce and sauce. Let's be honest, McDonald's these days seem to be deteriorating quite rapidly. When it comes to a typical fast food joint, I don't typically write a review unless it was a really terrible experience and/or meal. I woke up this morning groggy as all hell. I just wanted a frappe and a hash brown to perk myself up. My boyfriend came along and got some food too. The drive through was super packed, so we just parked and went inside, we assumed it would be quicker. I got my frappe and hash brown, my boyfriend got a Big Mac meal and two mcchickens (he's a big guy). Our food took a solid 15 minutes before it was ready to go (we ordered our food to go). My boyfriend said the Big Mac was so dry that he needed to take a drink of his coke after each bite. The fries and mcchickens were good however, he said. The thing that probably annoyed me the most was that as soon as you walk in, there's employees and people standing in the doorway, preventing anyone from being able to walk through the door without asking everyone to move. There wasn't even anyone in line, just a bunch of people standing around (mostly employees) and being so loud. Not to mention there were two small children that were under 3 years old running around the entire restaurant, including the back kitchen! This was the most infuriating because that's totally dangerous! The kids were pretty obviously one of the employees because 3 of the employees kept picking up these kids, attempting to keep them from going in the back. I'm seriously appalled by all this. Under no circumstances should an employee have to babysit their child while at work, especially when you work at a fast food place. Just take the day off? What would happen if one of the kids wandered all the way in the back and touched the grill, or got burnt from fryer oil? Why if an employee was transporting hot food and didn't see one of these kids coming and tripped over one of them and everyone got hurt? Unbelievable! They had to make my side salad "fresh" for me. I am pretty sure they picked random pieces of what appears to lettuce out of the trash can. A few pieces were brown slimy iceberg lettuce with purple wilted slimy Frisee and random pieces of slimy spinach. The smell when I took off the lid was unbearable. read more

We didn't feel like cooking so we went to McDonald's. So we get our food and drive away to get home. We ordered 3 ten piece meals with fries and that's all we ordered. So we got home and sat down to eat and in each case, there were only 7 nuggets and there weren't many fries in those boxes. The fact that fast food workers are demanding $15/hr is outrageous when you visit this location. After a long day, and after making a decision to actually go to McDonald's, the least they could do is provide some kind of positive experience. The latest time I visited, there was a simple order of two extra value meals, and two sundaes. It seems to be impossible for this location to keep their ice cream/ shake machine in repair, as it is broken, or "being cleaned" just about every time we go through the drive thru. So, no ice cream. As we pulled up to the window, (to pay, mind you), there was NO ONE there. I mean, we waited a full five minutes, and heard voices in the building, so it's not like they all vanished. Apparently, whoever was working the window just decided to go on a break. We drove off, and found food, else where. This location has a reputation for getting orders wrong, having a non-functioning/out of service/"being cleaned" ice cream/shake maker, and the drive-thru window being abandoned for periods of time. Clearly, the management of this location is not doing their job, and the reason for the high turnover in the fast food industry can be illustrated by the failure of this location. read more
