It's McDonald's. Never my first choice. But looking for a snack, on a Sunday, in Plain City? Not many options. I have been here a few times before, especially when I lived out this way. It's pretty average. Service was OK. Friendly, a little slow. I do not like the kiosks or app. I ordered a double burger and got a double cheeseburger. Whatever. The drive through is terrible. They never get our order right. This morning I stopped and 4 simple items. Two of the items I ordered with NO CHEESE. Two family members can't eat dairy. When i get home, they both had cheese. I went back and went inside this time. The manager wouldn't even talk to me. Another girl who was very nice got me what I originally ordered. This is seriously the slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. It's convenient because there is nothing else in plain city really. But boy is it slow. We usually only stop for coffee and other drinks. And it takes at minimum 10-15 minutes. read more

Went through the drive through. Ordered 2 meals and 2 apple pies. They only had 1 apple pie. Didn't appreciate hearing a female employee in the background screeching about f-ing apple pies and how she hated her f-ing job in the background. Glad I didn't have kids with me. And it was noon. Today I fell victim to the McDonald's Ice Cream Machine Scam. I used the kiosk at the Plain City McDonald's to order a burger and hot fudge sundae. Since I was dining in, I was charged sales tax. A manage told me that the ice cream machine was down. I told her, "the time to tell me that was before you charged my card." She offered a refund, but when the receipt printed out, she had not refunded the associated sales tax. I angrily cancelled the order for the hamburger and insisted she refund the sales tax on both the hamburger and the sundae. She claimed, "I can't do that." Ohio law requires the refund of sales tax in this case (Ohio Admin. Code 5703-9-11 (B)). But Holowicki doesn't feel it needs to withhold city income tax or school district income tax for its employees at the Plain City store, so I guess it should come as no surprise that they scoff at this law, too. Fortunately, I paid with a credit card, which gives me certain legal rights in disputing this. I gave one star because the system will not let me give zero. read more

Stopped by here for a lunch today instead of driving the extra few mins to Dublin and felt obligated to leave a review. Processes and people were working smoothly today. Everyone was busy and the product and customer service was flowing well...from the newest employee to the manager. Keep doing what you do - it's appreciated. Pretty much standard, typical, McDonald's. They won't get your food order correct. Bathrooms were dirty. The wait time I would say is average. I waited for a no seasoning steak and that s all the time it took. It was hot and the biscuit wasn't over dry. It was terrible. Period. I just got braces on yesterday and I had asked for a vanilla Ice cream. Then they asked "cone or cup?" Obviously I chose cup because I can barely bite into anything. If I could leave no stars. I would. While the remodel has the store looking lovely, the staff could use an overhaul. Tonight I witnessed a "manager" coming in, throwing herself around and then storming out after berating several workers. Never in my life have I witnessed someone in a leadership role treat others so poorly. I walked away from the counter and left the facility. When I went back later to ask the managers name - she had returned but the girl that left crying wasn't. There are plenty of other places to grab a salad. No more. If I treated my associates in my store as I witnessed tonight, I would have nobody to blame but myself for poor reviews. Shame on you. Honestly - that woman should be let go in disgrace. read more

Although it's ran quite efficiently by the younger staff, I sometimes lose out on a few fries here and there (as if I need more). I never go back because it's not too necessary. But for being the only McDonalds for miles in the village, it's ran quite well. read more

Management there are all kids including the new GM who is 22 and very rude.. Yells at her staff and customers. Why is it all your management are little kids who know nothing and goof off when no big bosses are around. Get it together people do yourself a favor get some real management in there.
