I came here to buy some food, and the person that dealt with me on Sunday, May 5 of 2024 was so disrespectful calling me Mexican border hopper. Said this "I wish that you get deported & if you don't get out I will kill you all." And the manager that I talked to "Timothy" denied everything telling me to get off private property even though it's public property I went to the line 4 times for some "LARGE" fries they kept on giving me small amount of fries, medium amount & complaining about how they work for us people . I was getting very frustrated and upset cause they kept calling me names cause of my race. It's amazing what this world comes too now. I'm living here since 2010 and I've never had an issue with anyone in Plainfield and I just go get a large fry and they're talking about my race telling me to get out or they'll kill me. Yikes! I usually order mobile because it makes things faster for me and usually going in store is fastest. I walked in with at least 6 people in front of me. Many complaining that later numbers were being called before theirs. I was going to be late for work and I asked to cancel my order but the manager insisted on getting it to me. While all of these customers were waiting for their food, the back was working as fast as they could but there were three people at the cash registers doing absolutely nothing but critiquing those actually doing something. The poor manager does not know how to delegate roles and get his workers to seem like they care. Very poor service, I know to not expect much from a McDonalds but I know some other locations with more efficient workers. I only go to this one because it is on my way to work. read more

You will sit in the DT line for 20 to 30 minutes. It has a PlayPlace, which is great just to give the kids time to blow off steam. The drive thru takes quite a while to get through, but it's not nearly as bad as the location on the west end of Plainfield. Avoid that one at all cost. For the most part my orders have been correct. read more

This most recent trip they didn't tell me they were out of ice until they handed me a warm coke, and I asked for one with ice. store 15569. This store is run by confused, slow individuals. I went into store because I saw the drive through line all the way out to the street.I just wanted a bagel sandwich. The lady in front of me demanded her $8 refund because she waited for probably 12 min's. That was even taking so long and the lady said "just keep the $8, I'm going to be late for work"! I told the cashier "I want my sandwich, or I want a refund". I got my sandwich. I overheard the manager tell the woman in front of me "we have problems". This isn't my 1st rodeo with this store. I was given raw food(hamburger) when I contacted the store the manager Anthony apologized and told me to come back and they would refund money and replace my food. I live 6 miles away and didnt have time he said no problem. I went today and was told by another manager that she wasnt going to do that and when I asked for a phone number to call she said I am not able and wont give you a number! It's a Mcdonalds, so I won't waste too much time on this. The layout of this place is poor - both interior and exterior. The drive-thru is always jammed! The lines of cars often go into the local road blocking the ability to turn in/out and blocking cars in the parking spots. Second, the waiting area is small so people crowd up eliciting confusion as to who has been waited upon and who needs to order. It also has a ball pit - ugh kids with stinky feet. On Monday, March 28, 2021, around maybe 5pm, I went to McDonald's drive thru to get a double cheeseburger, 6 pc nugget, and a Diet Coke for myself, as well as a crispy chicken deluxe meal for my mom and a strawberry cream pie for each of us. I ordered and was told 7 minute wait in pies. This seemed excessive, but okay. Approximately 5-7 minutes later, when I reached the pick up window, the rude girl just handed me my food and drinks, not mentioning the pies, so I asked if my pies are in the bag. "Oh, no, it's going to be a 10 minute wait on those. Do you still want them?" Yes, I still want them, so I have to pull to spot 2. Well, as I thought about the fries in my bag that will be cold and nasty in 3 minutes, I decided to go inside to check on my pies and to ask for fresh fries once the pies are done. So I walk in and stand in front of the unmanned counter, attempting to look as in need of service as I possibly could. The manager comes over, does something on the register and doesn't even acknowledge me. This scenario is repeated 2 more times, same guy, so as I'm feeling a little clever, I ask, "Excuse me, do you work here?" He then, finally acknowledges me, so I explain why I'm standing there. He takes the for sure now cold fries and tosses them under the counter and then asks the staff about my 2 cherry pies and someone else's apple pie. I then inform him that no, it's 2 strawberry and cream pies, to which he tells me that the computer says cherry because of something. I explain to him that I don't care, but I do care that I get strawberry and cream pies. I'll be the first to admit I was not in any way pleasant, and hopefully made him feel like an idiot. So the guy behind me, who still hasn't been acknowledged is standing there chilling. I felt like my business was handled and I was just waiting for the pies, so I stepped aside and told him to go ahead. So he steps up, probably still a foot or two from the counter, and he lifts his phone up, and the manager says, quote, "Do you think you can give me a minute before you start throwing your phone in my face?" I couldn't believe what I just heard. This customer hadn't said a word up to this point, and this slug they call a manager is talking to him like that. I honestly couldn't believe what I'd just heard, and I couldn't believe this customer just took it like it was normal. He is a black man, so maybe that is normal in that McDonalds. I don't know, because I usually do my business at the window, but I was shocked at what he said to that guy, so I said, "I'm good, he's just trying to get your attention before you run off and ignore him like you did me". He then, finally takes care of the guy. Nine minutes later, I finally got my pies and my fresh fries to go with my 25 minute old burger and flat pop. McDonalds needs to clean that house and start from scratch with a completely new staff. read more
