Food is reliably the same recipe so you know what you're getting. Services are fine. They are fairly efficient getting food served. Incredibly kind staff and good food. I came in with another person like 15 minutes before close because we had just gotten in and it was one of the few places open that had options for our specific dietary needs. We felt so horrible to be coming in with an order so close to closing time, but absolutely needed something to eat and had basically no other options that would have been open later. I'm a first time consumer of Noodles having driven by for years wondering what the menu was like. I decided to try them today. While I was waiting to place an order, I got a little bit nervous as the cashier & order taker stopped to deliver a couple of trays to their appropriate tables. I noticed the staff's order screen with eight orders in the red. I felt they were understaffed (who isn't these days) and my wait time might be longer than I expected but it wasn't. She took my order within a couple of minutes. I timed the delivery of the food using the timestamp on the receipt. My bowl of soup, including a tray of napkins, a spoon and two packs of oyster crackers, arrived in nine minutes. That's pretty good in my opinion. I ordered the regular size Chicken Noodle Soup. The egg noodles were distinctive and large but not too big for the spoon. While you always want more chicken in your soup, this bowl had adequate chicken with carrots, greens and other herbs. I tried Noodles & Co for the first time yesterday ! I was so excited to try something new. I played it safe and went with the pad Thai, my favorite ! While it definitely wasn't an authentic pad Thai, it was tasty ! The nuts used in it were especially delicious and added a nice flavor to the dish. Even if you show up in person, they only do online ordering at this location. Even with two registers there and a staff that I assume know how to use the register, you are out of luck unless you pre order online. If you don't want to download an app or don't have internet to even get on their page, or don't carry your phone with you to do so, again, you are out of luck. It's not the first time they've done sketchy things. Half the time for a while, they were not even open during the daytime. I've been to other N&C locations, and have never dealt with problems like this. Don't bother wasting your time with this place, go to Culver's next door or anywhere else instead, because literally anywhere else on this planet will allow you to pay at the register. Well they had a great new family meal to go I had heard of. So away I went to my web browser to order Forget about complicated choices there a four paired offerings to choose from each should feed four adults and possibly more it's a lot of food. I ordered one of the preset options. Note: no customizations are available with these. But at $40.00 I am willing to take what they offered. Surprisingly one of the vegetarian options which I would not normally order was fantastic. You also get pad tai with shrimp, chicken and rigatoni, a Cesar salad, macaroni and cheese, and Korean meatballs. Those meatballs are an awesome appetizer and a good add on to the Mac and cheese as there is no meat in that one. You'll get the large size of each. My family turned it into an in home buffet and I ate a bit of all the pastas. Each in this pack tasted great. As a pasta cooker it's super hard to keep pasta fresh after cooking so I can tell they cook these close to serving. That keeps them from being gummy. The online checkout process was very easy. I have always been a huge fan of Noodles. I know that it isn't always everyone's favorite but I think they have decent and consistent food. Food- Over the years Noodles has added more to their menu than just pasta items which I love. They have salads and sandwiches now which is great for people who aren't crazy about pasta meals. My new favorite is the zucchini pesto. I had never tried zucchini noodles before but after having them today, I will definitely be eating more of them. A few of my other favorites are the Pat Thai and Japanese Pan Noodles. They have two different sizes. Regular and small. I usually get the small because the regular is about the size of pasta you would get at Olive Garden. Price- Noodles for a "fast food" restaurant is a little pricey. A normal meal for one usually cost between $8-$13. It depends on if you get a small or regular and if you add meat. Service: The service was very good. The person who took my order was very friendly and actually engaged each customer in conversation. My food came out quickly and correct. While the service was great the restaurant was a little messy. While the tables weren't horribly messy, you still see crumbs on a lot of them. For them being slow at the time, I am not sure why the tables were not more clean. If you love to try different pasta then stop in to noodles. It is definitely worth it. read more

I can always count on noodles and company to be consistent with their food. The buttered noodles with parmesan chicken breast and shrimp is very filing, and super yummy!! My only reason for not giving a couple more stars at this location was due to cleanliness. I went to a booth and then reviewed all 6 before determining a table would be better for my friend and I to eat at, due to each and every seat being dirty. Still, with the tables, each was messy, so my friend went and asked them for soapy paper towels to clean the table. To my surprise, they gave them to her versus coming over to clean it themselves! People there were really nice,but the food was not what I was expecting. My noodles were Burnt like how do you burn noodles?! My noodles were all clumped up and charred and hard to pull apart. My chicken was cold, it was pre cooked chicken breast and it seemed like they just sliced up and put in the bowl of noodles and poured the sauce on and served it. It wasn't what I expected even after reading reviews on this place that's the only reason why I went here because it had so many good things to say about this place and I ended getting the worst of the batch. I love Noodles and Co in general, but the one in Plainfield is amazing. I always make it a point to stop when coming back from a flight. Its conveniently located for this getting to the airport and headed south from Indy. The price is exactly the same as all other Noodles....I say about $10 a person including drinks. They serve the table super fast here. They have a small parking lot for the amount of table space available...so I could foresee that being a small problem to some folks. I havent been to the Plainfield Noodles & Co since last October when they had but my meal upside down in my bag and caused quite a mess in my car (as the leaking had gone unnoticed by me) and subsequently the bag gave in my apartment (see photos below) dumping all the contents on my floor. Ive noticed the service and food had been declining prior to this incident and I had decided to avoid the place for a bit. Fast forward to today and I decide to try again. After working a 14 hour day, I had wanted something quick and decided to call ahead so I can get my food and head home. I ordered on the phone. When I went to the restaurant, there was a line (as expected since its near 6 pm) but I went up to the order ahead counter as denoted by the sign (pictured below). I was asked if it was paid for, I said no I wasnt given that option on the phone. The employee said sorry but you'll have to wait in line. Now theres a register underneath that sign (that also says web, app AND PHONE), and the whole thing seems to be set up for just this sorta situation, but for whatever the reason, not wanting to open the till or from what my guess would be, the employee wanting to continue her conservations with the guys in the back, I ended up having to wait in the long line for my order ahead. Service is lousy, food not that much better. Id say skip this location. Edit*just opened my to go order and wouldnt ya know it, my spaghetti and meatballs isnt made with spaghetti but with penne for some odd reason. Great place for a quick meal. It's nice that the food is brought to you, and you don't have to clean up with messy trays and such. Also cool, since you don't have to get it with meat if you don't feel like it. I usually order the regular portion, so I can take home leftovers. (If there's any). Here are the entrees I usually get / have gotten from favorite to least: 1) Japanese Pan Noodles...They're just soo good! I love all the veggies in it. I find the udon noodles to be very unique in this dish. 2) Pad Thai...It tastes better than most of the Pad Thai found in restaurants. 3) Pesto Cavatappi...Best Mediterranean dish on the menu. 4) Penne Rosa...ehhh 5) Indonesian Peanut Saute...I'm not a huge fan, since it tastes like peanut butter. 6) Macaroni & Cheese...Not worth all the calories. 7) Mushroom Stroganoff... So bland! I had to add table salt. As a side-note, all the meats are of pretty decent quality. It just depends on what mood your in. Sometimes, I forgo the meat and get pot-stickers to share instead. Iordered catering- tried to do it online only but could not figure out how to ask for the meat to be in a separate container as we were expecting several vegetarians. Easily ordered on the phone. Food was ready for pick up at the expected time. We got mushroom stroganoff (meat on the side) alfredo (meat on the side) penne rosa and orange chicken. They had sterno and pan holders to keep foods warm. Also, 2 pans of cheese bread, 2 large salads, lemonade (store did not offer tea) salad dressing and marinara sauce for bread, plates and silverware. Everything tasted great, the penne rosa was the biggest hit of the night. Adults and kids all enjoyed it! This is a very typical Noodles & Company. They have a variety of pastas and sandwiches to choose from. The employees could stand to act more like they are grateful for their jobs. But overall, it is a nice solid, consistent product. I like the Wisconsin cheesesteak. It has peppers, onions, and mushrooms in addition to their cheese sauce they use for their pastas. It is soooo good. I tend to avoid their pastas though as they have always been too dry for my liking. There is some outdoor seating at this location. From what I observed, it is minimal. read more

This is my favorite place to go for fast, fresh, and flavorful pasta! It's convenient to place a mobile order and stop and pick it up on my way home after work. They always have my order ready and always make it perfectly (I usually ask for no cheese or no mushroom)! This was, by far, the worst Noodles & Company we've ever been to. The main reason is that it was filthy. There are probably 30 or so tables in the location and, I kid you not, only 2 were occupied, but every single one was dirty. There was no place to sit. We informed the employees and some guy came out and started picking up used bowls, but didn't bother to wipe down the table. The floor as well was covered with trash. The employees in general were not very friendly and you could see them just goofing around in the back.
