Very grumpy employee. I started eating the apple pie. Extremely dry, and chewy. The outside was rock hard. Ah, how about that. It's enjoy by time was 11 hours before. I brought it to the attention of the employee, who questioned me on it, even after I showed the dirtbag the box, and she finally reluctantly gave me another one, this one with no "enjoy by" date. Wait a second; she replaced the apple pie with a cherry pie, again, with no "enjoy by" time on it. March 2021 - I made the mistake of stopping at this location to use the drive thru window service. Due to Covid-19 the dining room was closed. I'm not sure why, Lake County, is completely open and has been open for months. The drive thru only had one person taking orders and she alternated between the two lanes. This was the same person taking all of the money too. The order taker assumed that I wanted a large order and I corrected her. I feel sorry for this employee. The manager should be fired. I waited 10 minutes just to place my order and I was first in line! I ordered the new chicken sandwich. The sandwich was great but had no seasoning or dressing. I added mayo to make it decent. The wrapper was covered in grease. Another reason to fire the manager. The meal was not worth $8 for a medium order. read more

Absolutely mind boggling. I have been visiting my son in a camp nearby for the past six weeks so I've tried eating here 3 times. Twice I used Uber eats and after about an hour or so my order hasn't even started so I cancelled. Then I went yesterday to the drive through. I pulled right up to where you order and nothing. Literally 15 minutes at the drive through order screen and a person never even got on to say "hold" or something to that. Finally some space opened up and I left the line and noticed that the first car that was at the window was still in the waiting area. I don't understand how a McDonald's can have this level of service. Oh well. Healthier to stay away from anyways. read more

I don't give this rating lightly, but because it truly deserves it. This is constantly the worst drive-thru experience I have ever had. The last (and final) time I went to this drive-thru at 2 AM, I pulled up to the kiosk with one other car ahead of me and was asked to wait one moment. Seventeen minutes later, I decided to drive around and found no one in line. I pulled up to the second window and let them know I've been waiting for nothing. The associate advised that she did not receive a signal that I was in line. After I told her that she was the one who told me to hold on 17 minutes before, she became argumentative. At that point, I told her I didn't need anything, and she responded, "whatever," and waved me off with her hands while walking away. Never again. My oh my! I come to this McDonald's for a late night snack and it's slow, they also just changed the dinning hours so the lobby closes at 10 P.M. A majority of the employees are super nice so that is one plus! The main problem in my eyes with this restaurant is the simple face of the slowness, I have also realized that there is not a napkins or ketchup dispenser in the lobby. You have to ask for each individual ketchup packet which isn't a bad thing, however with some of the employees it seems like it's a minor inconvenience! Last but not least the bathrooms are absolutely filthy! There is brown residue in the sink, and it smells like rot! It's the only McDonald's in Plymouth, so it's not like I could just go to a different location. The new kiosk machines that take your order are nice because they will not mess up your order! The bottom bun of my quarter pounder was soaked with so much grease that it was wet and discolored. I had to take it off. When they were making my food, they we're talking about having a competition on who can make the fastest burgers. If the Plymouth McDonald's was represented by a human body part it would be a butt. Because it is complete butt. This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to in my life, an unfortunate fact given I have gone there more times than I can count. The first thing that makes it butt is the fact that the term "fast food" is completely disregarded at this location. It doesn't matter what time of day you go, you will spend a minimum of 15min in the drive thru. It doesn't even matter if you're actually the only car in the drive thru. More than once I've been exactly that, gotten up to the food window in a decent amount of time, and then gotten asked to pull forward and wait for my food. Inexcusable. The second butt factor is the staff. There's a couple good employees but they apparently get their schedules changed constantly because I hardly ever get to see them/interact with them. Instead they are almost always staffed by barely functioning excuses for humans who can't ever take orders correctly or churn out orders correctly. I get the fact that in the world of fast food, you're not really going to get anyone with a brain. If you have a decent education or any sort of brain power period, you know better than to work a fast food job. But come on... The final butt factor is the entire place is incompetent. Not just the employees but apparently even the managers and whoever the poor soul is that is the owner. They recently remodeled and put in a dual "zipper" drive thru. Holy crap was this ever a bad idea. Not only do they not ever do it right, they don't even apologize when they screw up. My most recent interaction went like this: I pulled up to the outside speaker and was the ONLY car in the drive thru. I sat there in silence and waited for someone to come on the speaker. A car pulled up next to me in the other drive thru and immediately got their order taken. I'm talking it was so quick I think the employee was on the speaker before the car had even come to a complete stop. This made me mad, but it got worse: it happened with TWO MORE CARS. The entire time I was just sitting there like a moron. When the employee finally spoke up through the speaker I shouted out "What the hell?! You just took 3 orders of people who pulled up after me and let me sit here like an idiot!" There was no sorry or apology. Instead, there was lip. Whoever the employee was decided to scold me and share the fact that "we have two drive thru's which means we have two people inside taking orders and I wasn't ready for you yet." Oh, ok! I guess I'll just go screw myself!" I didn't even bother ordering. I pulled away and hit BK across the street. That was 3 weeks ago and I haven't been to McDonald's since. I've had enough of this location being complete butt and have decided that the next time I want McDonald's, I'm gonna make the extra effort to drive to either LaPaz or Argos because they've at least got good ones. read more

I know this is a fast food place, however it has changed so much in the past years. I used to love McDonald's and this McDonald's had made it one of my least favorites. It shouldn't be considered fast food as it's probably one of the slowest drive-thru places in town. You are asked to pull forward and wait for your order about 4 out of 5 times. We frequently have to run back inside because they either forgot a fry or got the sandwich wrong. Since they have remodeled they have raised there prices a lot. Value meals went from $5.55 to $7.00. we paid $4.85 for big kid meals yesterday. The counters by the soda machine were covered in puddles of liquid and ketchup everywhere on the counter which was surprising, because the ketchup suspensor was empty AGAIN...
