Rarely will give a five star but this place has earned it. I am not a fan of their regular chicken (personal preference) but their grilled options are amazing. I did a "hack" today. Went through the drive through last night and no less than 5 youngsters standing out taking orders but no one acknowledges you if you're in the right lane? (First timer at this location and most CFA have two lanes). So I wait.. no one addresses me for a few minutes, they just stay chatting it up over on the left lane. Then someone comes over the speaker and asks me my name. I tell them and they say "sorry we don't have an order for you" and I say "that's because I haven't given it to you yet". She says " you can't order here". Me "ok so I've been sitting here and none of these people can tell me that?" Her " no, you have to go around and get back in line". Ok, nope. You lost a customer. Not waiting another minute to be ignored or to wait. I will go next door to chipotle. And you know what? They were glad I was there, and it was delicious! read more

(Michigan st. South bend) Had a drive through order. It's 9:30pm and there's a full line. The lady doesn't seem very happy that we pulled up but we got a salad a chicken sam meal and a shake with fries. We weren't finished with our order before they cut us off and said "pull up" I said can I also get this too? She said ya. I said thank you and she said "yea" instead of my pleasure. I get to the window and the lady just walks up and stands there in front of me. Didn't even ask for the money just stood there. So my husband proceeds to hand her cash since she wants to hang out. While we're sitting waiting for our money, 2 different girls in the back say "really?? They ordered a Cobb salad, extra cheese and corn???" Like I'm sorry but what's wrong with that? And then sees me watching her. She tells her friend to make us pull forward. She finally brings the money out and tells us to pull forward. I did, and still haven't said anything. She finally brings our meals and I let her know I had a bad experience. She said she'd let them know. I get home and my husbands "Cobb" salad was 2 pieces of full lettuce, not chopped but whole and I wouldn't normally think this is weird cause it's a salad but it's always chopped up. My cookie was burnt to hell and all of the sizes were messed up on my order. I currently got sick from their food tonight (never happened before) so whatever else she did to the food must've been a real nasty mess. Chick-fil-A were do I get started. First of all there was not a single my pleasure what the f**k. The workers also gave us the wrong food multiple times I thought that was the point of us giving them our names. I didn't even get salt on my flipping fries and when I bit into the fries it was like I was chewing on a boulder. We had to roll our window down multiple times and let snow dump in the car getting everyone wet and cold because they asked for our names 12 times. I am just disappointed in what happened today. This is one of my favorite franchises of fast food. I normally try to eat here when I'm on the road and looking for fast food to keep my energy level up on the road. One feature I like is ordering your food online (yes, in their app) and have it ready by the time I get to this location. Since this place is very close to the highway and it's crossroads when I drive back from Indy, this is a great pit stop. Good food, good prices, easy to order, conveniently located! In my most recent visit to this restaurant a worker walked up to me and coughed on me and walked away. It was very unsettling and made me feel gross. Stopped in at this location around 7pm on a Thursday evening. The line was LONG but I have to say the staff on site was prepared, directing traffic, and had the process down to a T. Our assistant outside was kind and got the order in quickly and made no mistakes. We got the food in a timely manner - all hot; ready to go and all (and I mean ALL) the sauces we requested were in the bag. Kudos to the staff here for making a not so great situation during COVID times work out well for their customers. I went to this Culver's today and was pleasantly surprised to see how friendly the staff were. Then Bri helped to figure out how to place our specialty order in the computer to help us get exactly what we wanted on our sandwich even though it is not a regular ordered sandwich. Our food came out hot and in a very short time. Also the inside was very clean even though it was noon on a Saturday. Fast, friendly, and fast online orders ( they didn't have any bottled waters so a lady gave me a large free lemonade :0 ) So today was the first time ever that I've ate chik fil a .. I didn't see the hype about it but WOW did they surprise me.. my cousin ordered online and not even 10 minutes later our order was ready despite the place being so packed !! I have never eaten at a Chick-fil-a before. My brother took me there for lunch today and I must admit that I was impressed all the way around! Awesome owner, great food, lemonade had pieces of lemon in it just like my Mom used to make, super clean restaurant, umbrella covered tables outside on the patio, even a climate controlled drive thru with cars constantly moving thru. Chik-Fil-A is not as amazing as it once was, but still a OK place to eat. I have been there about 6 times over the last few years and every time I get minimal service and hot food, the food is good but very plain. I liked their chicken sandwich but all you get is chicken and a bun nothing else and for the price, I can get a deluxe chicken sandwich and a drink at other competitors. I know people that swear they are amazing but my experience has been mediocre at best. In the past, I have tried to support them because they have Christian values and are not afraid to openly show them. I like that but it doesn't make the food any better. read more

Where we live there is not a Chick fil a so when ever we are near one we stop at least once during our trip. This location is a little trick to get into, only one way in and one way out and the drive thru was packed, we waved our way through them to go inside and walked right up to the counter to place our order. I very rarely go to fast-food restaurants, but when I do, I choose Chick-fil-A. This location, as well as the other location in this area, are always extremely busy. I thought it would be a long wait, but I waited approximately 3 minutes inside of the restaurant. I believe the cashier was one of the managers, but she was one of the best customer service employees I've seen in South Bend (which, as a city, lacks in customer service spanning several industries). She brought me my milkshake, as well as grabbed straws and napkins. Another employee went around to the tables asking individuals if they needed refills. Where the cows are convincing you to eat more chicken. I had the chicken nuggets because I had a membership card. And I liked the chicken (don't forget the fries! Love them too!) I totally understand problems with Covid. But the owner and managers walk up and down the outside lines constantly. They should relay messages of problems since they aren't doing anything else productive. I have been there 3 times lately that I sat in line only to get to the front for them to tell me they have stopped breakfast. The last being Memorial Day. I was there at 10 and was told they opened early and changed breakfast hours. I had done an online order, drove all the way there, was greeted by Ed the owner to be told.where to park----i already knew---and he never once said anything about early breakfast. Who starts lunch before 10AM? Service and hospitality is failing. I not once got an apology the 3 times they "ran out" of breakfast. May have to start reconsidering my choices. read more
