Grew up here & this McDonalds has slowly gone downhill. The staff is always extremely rude & uncaring. No smiles or greetings, windows are thrown open & met with blank stares & grumbling or short, rude, cold answers. Food is always cold & stale like it has been up for hours. I have worked in fast food for years myself, McDonalds being one of the companies (just not at this location) so I know how long the food takes to make, I know what it looks like & tastes like fresh. I have waited here longer than any other location on SEVERAL occasions & have been pulled forward to wait only to receive cold, hard food. Ridiculous. read more

Sausage McMuffin was served promptly. The people were polite and friendly. And the restaurant was clean.

Newer model McDonalds but run buy teenagers who seem not to care. Slow, food takes forever to get. As far as cleanliness? A complete dump. Not cared for and the floor has food all over it. Happy to have a mc Donald's and good junk food!! But management needs to re train their staff in the kitchen. Hence when does a kid's hamburger happy meal come with cheese unless you get the cheese burger happy meal! And as I was waiting for that to be fixed 2 other customers brought back theirs burgers to be corrected as well. The cashier was fast and efficient and nice. The store was dirty with trash on the floor and the tables needed to be wiped down, their was NO ketchup in the dispenser and it took a while before I could get counter help to get ketchup. Note to manager!!!! Retrain your staff or get new employees in please if you want to keep your store running smooth! read more

I have been going to McDonald's for 45 years and have never found a worse store. I have gone weekly to this store until the last few weeks when the food became unedible in quality following with terrible service. I started filling out surveys asking for a reply and after 4 requests, still no response. I now drive to Post Falls to support a far better store. I am now working with corporate to right some of the wrongs and will add to this review when any 'resolution is reached. In the future, avoid this terrible McDonald's and support any other Rathdrum eatery!! read more

Staff is rude and they have no customer service at all! And they will charge you for multiple sauce packets when asking for one! Check your receipts I was charged 92 cents for 4 sweet and sour sauces when I only asked for one. It's not a huge amount of money but I felt taken advantage of. read more

Honestly probably the best place in Rathdrum to get breakfast. They're currently under renovation and only the drive thru is open.

While stopping at this McDonalds it took well over 30 minutes for them to serve us a child size fry 2 coffees, and a boxed apple juice. The girls working behind the counter were laughing and screwing around and my husband heard one mention she just didn't want to be there....clearly.... It was so unprofessional and slow. Had I ordered more I would have been afraid to eat it! And no it wasn't slammed, they were just poorly trained and unprofessional. Don't go here!! read more

This is the worst experience we have ever had at McDonalds. After an excessively long wait in the drive thru, traveling with a hungry child, we did not get the correct drink. They also failed to give my daughter's chocolate milk. So, we went back through the drive thru and were blatantly ignored at the window for over five minutes until we pulled around and went in. They finally helped us at the counter. However it was apparently a difficult scenario to simply add Sweeney to an iced coffee and provide a chocolate milk. I will not be back. So we went and got two regular sized mcflurrys and a milkshake. The person gave us the milkshake and 1 snack sized mcflurry. When we told her we got two normal sized mcflurrys. I have spoken to the mgr about drive-thru went inside today. Mgr was nice but he can't fix these employees! They need training. No napkins, ketchup, salt nothing in the bags AND drive thru orders should be checked everytime BEFORE you drive away, they just don't care what goes in your bag.
