My first time having McDonald's or McCafe breakfast items and a very long time! I ordered on the kiosk and I selected the table service. There was no table service they just called my number regularly a little bit annoying why offer it if it's not an option. I ordered a hash brown classic McDonald's choice it was hot it was fresh and tasted just as good as I remembered it! I also tried there everything bagel and it was soft and the bagel itself had a strong flavor I didn't actually taste onion and the bagel and they didn't put too much cream cheese overall I would definitely give it a 10 out of 10 I would come back for it. I also tried their new cold brew and I decided to try the sugar-free vanilla I would not recommend for the sugar-free syrup is too overpowering and it has a very strong aftertaste and that's pretty much all you taste I can't taste the coffee I can't taste vanilla I can't taste cream all I taste is the aftertaste of this syrup. I also noticed that the pricing of all the items at McCafe are very competitive with Tim Hortons I wish the coffee tasted better cuz then I would definitely get my information here, but maybe I just have to try it different syrup read more

In late August, I dropped by this McDonald's. I was in the area and have passed by this restaurant a number of times over the years. This McDonald's is in the same plaza as Mamma's Pizza. There's lots of parking in front of the restaurant. I had placed my order through the app and got the following: - Poutine - McDouble I went through the drive-thru to pick up my order. The drive-thru is between two buildings, with a roof to keep your car dry when it's snowing or raining. I approached the speaker. The guy with a young voice on the other end started the conversation. I stated my code. One word from him: What? Okay, either you are too young to have lost your hearing unless you listen to music at full blast with headphones, or you need to polish up on your customer service skills. How about, "I didn't catch that code. Can you please repeat it?" So, I bluntly restated my code, even using the international / NATO phonetic alphabet for the first two letters. If you are going to be a pill about things, I don't mind wasting your time to clearly get my code to you. He got it. I headed over to the window to pick up my food. I thanked the woman who gave me my bag of food and headed home. During the pandemic, McD's decided to remove poutine from the menu. Since it has returned, I crave it. It was yummy. It had lots of gravy. The cheese curds were too melted to figure out if they were actually cheese curds or melted mozzarella. The fries were yummy. I got a wooden fork for my poutine. It was my first time using one. It worked well. I had my McDouble next. It was yummy. If you want a double patty and a cheeseburger as a light snack, it's a good option. Breakfast was prepared within 5 mins. Plenty of dine in space to hangout, a few using laptops and watching videos on their phones. Got the sausage instead of bacon Mcgriddle. I was just at this McDonald's and went through the drive-thru...I dont know what the hell is up with the staff but recently it has declined drastically!! Everytime I am here they always mess up on my order sometimes missing items sometimes my orders are made incorrectly and most times the food isnt fresh...worst part of it all is the staff members taking orders through drive-thru dont understand a thing!! You tell them you want grilled chicken they hear crispy chicken you tell them you want just a sandwich they hear a combo and so forth, you get the point. This evening I ordered 1 Big Mac Combo and 6 Piece Nuggets and Ceaser Salad with Grilled Chicken, after repeating myself 3 times its grilled chicken and not crispy she finally got my order...I then proceeded to pull up to the window and as shes repeating the order back she says "crispy chicken wrap" ?? Like wtf? a salad and a wrap are 2 different things and I just went through the whole "NO CRISPY CHICKEN" on my salad...man...I thought she got it but looks like I was wrong! Anyhow after clearing that up I pulled up to the next window because they asked me to wait for my food. I said..."sure no problem"... waiting for my food by the window and the same girl comes to hand me my order and says "oh we dont have ceaser do you want balsamic?" Me: (in my head) OMFGGGGGGGGGGGGGG Me: No I dont want balsamic!! Why would you even tell me you have ceaser when you dont!! Her: oh, you want the salad? Her: (handing me the salad) Me: NO! I used to like visiting this McDonald's since the staffs used to be friendly. However, it was recently that the service level has declined due to unknown reason. Maybe the staffs were not yet fully trained. I used the self check out kiosk to buy two apple pies and ice cream cone. I was told that they ran out of apple pies and only had strawberry pies, which I ended up accepting since I was really hungry after gym. Lol! Not the best choice for food after gym. Anyhow, the staff asked me if I was given an icecream cone. It was a little ridiculous since it was not that busy inside or the drive thru. Finally, I got my cone and they did not give me any napkins. It was strange that there was no napkins at the condiment bench. I had to ask for napkins with ice-cream dripping down my fingers and hand, and the staff felt so irritated. So I can't believe after so many chances. This McDonald's consistently has given me the wrong order. First time was simply 2 apples pies with 2 coffees. I was given 1 apple pie and 2 coffees. Second time 2 happy meals breakfast and 2 sausage egg McMuffin with 4 waters. I received 2 has browns and 2 waters 2 sandwiches which were not sausage egg muffins but just a plain egg McMuffin. I can go on and on with other examples but it will just be more wrong orders. I can't stress how annoying it is especially my orders were not complicated nothing customed, how is it possible they can screw up orders every time I'm there? Its a McDonald's. Food is what you'd expect it to be. The restaurant is great looking compared to the train wreck golf theme it used to be. This place is filthy. The garbage cans were over flowing and the drink station was a disgusting sticky mess. I must say its been like that the last few times I was here. This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Working close to this location so I come for lunch every once in a while. My order is almost always wrong and if u order a sprite be sure to follow up with "the drink" before u pull up to the window and be given fries. Though I don't frequent McDonalds, but in case of emergencies in life (washroom needs, yoga class canceled, Internet Meetup or junk food attack) it is not a bad choice at all. This McDonalds had fully rebranded into a McCafe and Smoothies restaurant. Deco is nice and modern enough with tons of seating. 24 hour drive thru, wifi access with quite a few electronic outlets at least in the front area. This is the WORST mcdonalds I've ever been to. My friend lives nearby so sometimes we don't have a choice for a late night snack. I've been here 3 times and each time the service has been disgustingly horrible. The staff have bad attitude and the place looks like it is never cleaned. Also, it's one of the only mcd I've seen that charges for mayo and condiments, or to add lettuce to a burger. That's fine but.. That with horrible service is a nono. Last visit was definitely the last straw for me when I got horrible attitude for a simple request (I even said please, and it was their fault to begin with). I love/hate this 24-hour McDonald's. Being so close to it is dangerous as it's so tempting to pick up burgers 24/7. This McDonald's is like your typical mcd but on the smaller side. They have a drive thru and ordering kiosks. I would say this is one of the more updated ones and has really nice furniture and stuff. The issue I have with this place is that sometimes they close stuff randomly. Like one time they closed the dining area yet the drive thru is open and we can see people sitting inside. We didn't have our car and they wouldn't let us order so it was very bull$&!?. GIVE ME MY SAUSAGE MCMUFFIN!!! More than once we've also encountered that the drive through is closed, or the whole place is closed. Oh gosh, and the other day at freaking 12 am we were stuck in the drive thru for over 20 MINUTES. THERE WERE ONLY 2 CARS IN FRONT OF US. Crazy. When it's good, it's great, when it's bad, it is infuriating. But srs tho the sausage mcmuffin for less than $2 are to die for. They really need to improve their training. I ordered hot coffee and multiple cones for curbside pick up. These were delivered without a tray - I don't know how they expect the driver to juggle hot coffee and multiple cones while driving. Location Funny how I'm rating this place's location. Anyhow, this is probably the Mc D's you want to go to if you don't want to wait. There aren't as many people which means it won't be crowded. The parking is okay, there are enough spots because no one comes to this plaza (I do come for the BBQ meat). Food/Service It's like any other Mc D's, can't say this one is any worse or better. I really wanted to try the new festive combo that is being offered this year, so I did. First of all the waffle fries are very different, super crunchy on the inside but it tastes kind of the same as any Mc D's fries. The only problem is that it has to be eaten fresh/hot. Previously, their normal fries can be eaten at any time (obviously, best when served hot) but still edible when it's cold. The Potato Rosti and Bacon burger is a total ripoff. I really should have paid more attention to the marketing ad because it's just a hashbrown inside a burger. It doesn't taste bad per se, but it's super dry so you are dying for a drink after every bite. Like seriously, could I not have bought a single cheese burger then adedd a hash brown in between? This McDonald's never has a dull moment. Pretty busy every time I've been here. People working at the cashier get a little sassy when you repeat your order just to clarify because they responded in a way that made you think they misunderstood your order. They gave us the Greek McTaster instead of the Italian by accident and my boyfriend had already taken a bite out of one of them. He went to the counter to have it exchanged and he asked if he could just keep the one he bit into since they're going to throw it out anyway. Lady said no and threw it out. I get it that she's probably just doing her job and there might be policy against it but I think it's silly and wasteful. Onto the Italian McTaster, it's actually quite good for $2.99 + tax! We ordered with sauce on the side and it just tastes like a tangy ranch. The patty was sort of like a big chicken nugget. Bun was soft and chewy, just the way I like it! As service goes, I would give 2 stars but the Italian McTaster was a pleasant discovery so bumped it to 3. I would recommend trying it! read more

Horrible service. They need to train their staff to stop and listen to customers, including the supervisor . I went this morning around 1030am and ordered a breakfast sandwich via drive thru. Added that I wanted the free hash brown offer from the mobile app. I wanted to tell the staff taking my order the code for it but she kept asking my mobile order, and I told her is not a mobile order. Then she put in 3 hash brown and I kept correcting her is 1 hash brown I wanted from the free promo. Told her then I wanted 2 coffee .. anyways she rushed me to drive up and pay. Showed her the promo from mobile app again, and then told her I don't want three hash brown, and I wanted 2 cups of coffee, she kept saying ok and doing her thing. This location after the renovations looks acceptable now from the golf themed past. Very spacious and a wide assortment of seats to choose from and a very cosy/ intimate area in the back with a fireplace and cp24 reporting the latest news. A nice place to go if you are in between appointments and want a decent cup of coffee and some snacks (read: fresh fries). They also provide a very strong WiFi signal for those late night students and power ports all around to plug into to charge up your devices. read more

The walk-in waiting time for a coke and iced coffee was 15 minutes. Look at my photo, 13 orders waiting to be filled and all laid on the table !! But the cashier continued to take in more orders and no one stepped up to try and help fill the ones in waiting. Pretty poor management. The staff with the name tag Byron always grab the cups or fries containers from the inside and putting his fingers all over the interior of these containers, and he constantly scratches his nose (looks like he has a cold and was sniffling), drinking from the cups he touched was so GROSS. Taking a bike ride around the block and stopping at McDonald's for an ice cream on the way back home. I usually come here at least once whenever I'm back home just because my parents like the breakfast here and it's something we used to do as a kid. This time I went, I recognize the same cashier from like 10 years ago - though she probably has no clue who I am. In terms of food and service, it's McDonald's. Took more than 10 minutes to get my order, and I ordered from the self order screen. People were all waiting impatiently for their food, staff has no clue what to do, everybody seems to be waiting for something as if they are on pause. Manager looked overwhelmed. After the long wait, I went to the condiments section, both catsup dispensers were empty and both napkin holders are empty as well. The staff and manager should be sent for further training otherwise the self order kiosks defeat it's purpose. I moved here 2 months ago and have been to this mc Donaldson about 5 times. Every time my order has been messed up. Got a meal without fries. Got a BLT with cheese on it. This is the only McDonald's to have gotten my drive-thru coffee order right 100% of the time so far. Others usually fail most of the time, so it is beyond amazing that they have not failed once. Anyways, burgers here tasted a bit cold as well as fries tasted like it has been held there near the fryer for the last few hours, but whatever, fries is fries. A lot of nicer franchises in the area that you do not need to ever visit the one here, but if you need a quick fix as well as you are already a minute or two away from the plaza anyways, JUST DO IT. They even have a dozen family tables / booths within the play area so parents can continue eating while the kiddies play. This is way better than any Thornhill / North York locations I've gone to. I'm done with this location. I just ordered a chicken mcwrap, and there was no chicken. The exact same thing happened before. Not only that but, I've asked for ketchup before and they didn't give me ketchup. A few times I've ordered a mcbistro mushroom melt sandwich and there were no mushrooms.
