Pre ordered at McDonalds Ridgecrest. Sat in drive through for 20 minutes. Nobody, including the manager, knew how to change the orange juice bag. It took 10 minutes, and a middle aged lady from the grill to actually do the work, while 8 idiots stood around with their thumbs up their ass watching her (including the manager). To top it off they got the order wrong. Tried to call, the phone number listed doesnt even work. And the dipshits want 20/ hr for this kind of incompetence. We just paid 25 bucks for this. Imagine the worst McDonald's you've ever been to... You probably thought, "it can"t get worse than this..." Allow me to introduce you to the Ridgecrest McDonald's. The service workers are trying but it's clear they are under staffed. The quality of the food and portion fall short of the stereotypical McDonald's. Don't get me started on the prices. First I would like to start by saying this is the ONLY McDonald's in town, with that being said there is slim pickings on where to eat since this is such a rural town with that being said it's not many people out here in Ridgecrest I would think servers would be more attentive and the service would be better. I would like to note that the morning staff is excellent and I've never had an issue with them at all! But the night staff is ATROCIOUS they are very rude and have piss poor attitudes when it comes to providing service and when it comes to food they push out old cold and mid food. Overall I would suggest going morning to mid day if you come here but if you have to go at night GOOD LUCK!!! read more

I feel when you pay $30 for 2 10 pc nuggets, 1 reg double cheeseburger, 1 med fri and 3 ice waters, you might as well go somewhere nicer right?!?! Food was ok, its fast food, is what it is. Service... Not professional at all, but most the staff are teenager's... When we were trying to order they were laughing and screwing around in the background, kind of annoying. The Ridgecrest Mc Donalds is normally pretty clean. We hate the new paint job, my daughter calls it the EMO Mcdonalds because it looks sad and gray. After the new management this was the last chance for this establishment for us, I think. The time before this one, my eggs in my egg McMuffin, where not cooked all the way, it looked like snot. Drive through drive thru at 10:10 am on a Friday. Ordered sausage McMuffin with egg, hash brown, and soda. They had the car ahead of me & three behind "pull forward ". 20 minutes later, car ahead of me are gone, and 2 behind me. OMG, really. I get it. It's McD's, fast food, is no longer fast, and going through drive thru means you are not in a hurry. Truth in advertising, I usually go inside because it usually faster than drive through. When you order from McDonalds you expect 2 things, cheap and fast. Since the Mcmorrows took over in Ridgecrest , you get neither. The food isn't even a worthy guilty pleasure either. The fries were dried out. So we're the nuggets. They overcharge for everything. You can tell the employees are miserable and are not even allowed to quit. You are better off making ramen noodles, at least it won't cost you an arm and leg and you wont get disrespected in the process. read more

Since the new ownership, it seems that things have only gotten worse. The prices have gone up. The staff was completely replaced, or at least so it seems, but the weirdest policy change was that you can no longer add items at the window after ordering through the drive-thru. When I forgot an item and requested to add it at the first window, they told me I could not do that and that I would have to go all the way through the drive-thru again. I didn't get a chocolate milk with my happy meal. In fact i got straw instead. The happy meal didn't make me happy it was average meal. My chicken nuggets were stuck together, the fries were unsalted, some too cooked. If you want a better rating I would like a free happy meal "with" a chocolate milk and some good ah chicken nuggies and fries. read more

Place is clean and fresh inside but stay away if you have to eat gluten free. Asked about a gluten free bun, they don't have any. Asked if I could get my burger on a lettuce wrap, manager said they don't do that. Ask about salad, they said they no longer have salads, asked about ice cream or shakes and the machine wasn't working. LOL get it together otherwise Chick fil a is gonna take your business when they come into town. read more

I would give them zero stars if I could. The staff was very kind and efficient, but the policies they're expected to carry out are insane. Don't forget anything on your order. I ordered through the Mobil app (which I knew was a risk in itself) and I forgot one order of fries. So when I pulled up to the speaker, I gave my mobile order number and then asked if I could place a second order? No. I was told that the managers will not allow the employees to place more than one order per car. They said if I needed something else they're supposed to tell me to get back in the drive thru to order again. So instead I simply stopped at the drive thru exit and hopped out and went in to order my one fry, that literally took seconds for them to bring me. Best I can figure they get some kind of benefit based on how many cars go through the drive thru. I have avoided this place like the plague since the new owners arrived. The McDonald's on China lake Blvd has declined. Just about every time I go there they want to tell me to move forward, guess what I'm not moving forward anymore. I see what you did. I asked for fresh fries I got Luke warm fries then the manager tells me I need to move forward for my fresh fries that I asked for 4 cars ahead ago, then I get the fries to find out that they mixed old fries in and the top of the fries were hot. Nice job, NO I WILL NOT MOVE FORWARD AGAIN! I don't care about your time. Not my problem. Btw people you do not have to pull forward, it's only to make better time for them. Worst McDonald's I've been to in a long time. To start off with they never fill the fry container completely. At first I thought it was just a fluke on a busy day but it has happened consistently every time I go there which leads me to believe it is a management initiative to save money or supplies out here in the desert. But the final straw and the reason I am posting this review was my experience tonight. I went through the drive thru to get food for myself and a friend. I bought two 10 piece McNugget meals and asked for Szechuan sauce. I paid for the food and when it was handed to me I checked to make sure the order was correct. What I found in the bag was my food along with two ranches, two Honey mustards and a BBQ sauce, but no Szechuan. I looked on the receipt on the bag and it clearly stated that I requested Szechuan. I parked my car and went inside to get the sauce I asked for because we had yet to try it and it was the only reason I went. When I asked for some the cashier handed me a single sauce. I asked her if I could have more and she said that I only get one, and that if I want more I will have to pay $0.25 for another. I asked her if we were honestly expected to split one sauce for 20 nuggets and she said yes. I was not in the mood to argue so I took the sauce and left. I'm writing this review to let y'all know how the Ridgecrest McDonald's runs their business and that I will be contacting corporate in the morning over the several issues I have had with this store. read more

Another restaurant serving cold food. Only the French fries are hot. Quite often the milk shake machine isn't working and many times have to pull into the parking lot to wait for them to bring my food out to me. The cost of food there has gone up in price so much it's not worth the money anyway. The bathrooms have keypads on them and only the staff can use them read more

There is constantly something wrong with the orders. They always get at least one thing wrong. Burgers missing from our order. Busted lids on drinks, so the lids doesn't stay on. No straws for the drinks. Asked for no pickles and no onions and every burger we did get has both. That's just on our last visit there. Wish there was another McDonald's in town. read more

This review has to do with community involvement more so than the business. The owners sponsored the local High School Baseball program and were one of the first businesses to do so this year. Their willingness to support local community sports programs in very indicative of the character of the business owners. Small things like their sponsorship in our small community mean a lot to our student athletes and our sports programs. Drive-thru is safe typically, but the dining room experience is terrible. This is one of the local hangouts for teenagers with nothing better to do. The staff allows them to be loud, boisterous and rude to the other customers. I witnessed a teenager throw things at a younger adult dining on his own. He showed control beyond what I could have and didn't beat the living snot out of the teenager; although he was much larger and easily could have. He told the manager on duty, and they did nothing. The kid wasn't even a customer, he had just gotten a cup of water and was sitting and hanging out. McDonalds Ridgecrest, get your crap together and get rid of these miscreants hanging out in your dining room. You're giving away cups of water and seats to non-paying customers to hang out that are driving away people that will actually pay to eat there. read more

Wow! When they use the term "fast-food" I didn't expect it to be done within 3 minutes! This place is heavily trafficked during the morning and I was amazed at how fast their kitchen was churning out Mc-Whatevers. The cashier was a friendly middle-aged woman who even asked me how my day as going. They also had a promotion going on that was buy one McCafe get another one free. How ridiculously awesome. I generally don't eat a lot of fast food, and especially I don't eat McDonald's often, but this place was pretty wonderful. read more

Unbelievable efficiency during the breakfast/lunch transition. Manager cracking the whip, employees running at full speed, all the while providing the most professional courteous service that would make police departments and the US Military blush. I wish my workplace was this well-oiled and smooth running. They write your name on your order, and if something's taking more than a minute, they manager runs back to the kitchen and grabs it for you and calls your name as he's running back. read more
