Everything was super fresh and flavorful. The wrap was packed just right, chicken had this great seasoning that wasn't overpowering but still had flavor. The veggies actually tasted like veggies, not filler. The Green Machine smoothie was surprisingly good. It had the perfect balance of fresh and slightly sweet. Also got chips and salsa on the side, and even those were great additions. The salsa had a little kick, nice touch. One of my go-to Ridgecrest lunch spots! Their simple sandwiches and smoothies with fresh ingredients are such a blessing on work trips when I miss being able to make lunch at home. Prices are a little high for the area, but the quality of their ingredients is always excellent and IMO you just need to pile enough toppings on to get your moneys worth. I usually get the sandwich/wrap combo, which comes with chips, hummus, and a smoothie/juice. The cold-pressed juices are excellent, and the smoothies are just the right level of sweet. I recently tried the salad/soup combo to try out the popular self-serve soup bar and had their tortilla soup which was decent. The ambiance feels like you're on the set of a low production value kids beach TV show in the best way possible. Surfboard tables, straw beach umbrella awning, etc - they really put a lot of effort into their decor which is so charming. Service is always good, although I have seen the owner come in and lowkey yell at his employees in front of customers which is a bit odd. Overall great spot and would recommend!! read more

They have a variety of 3 bases for the AÇAÍ which was nice to be able to mix the bases. I got the mango and dragon fruit instead of the typical açaí base. If you are a member at the gym next door, PFH will apply a discount to your order. They also offer discounts on certain days for certain items. Cute place. Service was friendly. Glad to see a place up in Ridgecrest that actually has some healthy options. Plus gluten free and vegan options. Amazing. Everyone raves about the pizza on here, so that's what we tried. $22 for a 12" cheese pizza is pretty insane to me. They gotta work on their prices, at least for the cheese pizza. Shouldn't have to pay the price of a pizza with toppings if you aren't getting any toppings. The kicker though really is that they use JAR pizza sauce, and PRE-BAKED PIZZA DOUGH! Was really shocked and disappointed to see that. $22 for a pizza that isn't even baked in the restaurant!? I actually called this place the day before I went to ask some questions... it never would have occured to me ask if they actually bake the pizza crust on site. How a restaurant can even have pizza on the menu when they don't bake the crust in the store... totally beyond me. Unacceptable. I assumed the "good" crust would be the sourdough so that's what we got. It was extremely chewy. Says on the menu it is "fluffy"... but it is extremely thin, chewy, and rock hard at the edges from baking. Pizza was pretty bland. I didn't even want my leftovers, my mom gave them to her neighbor. Maybe the thin crust would have been better? I kinda wonder what kind of crust these people got writing these glowing reviews for the pizza. Sure as hell wasn't the sourdough crust. But I like fluffy bready pizza crust, so either way I don't think I would have enjoyed any of their crust options. Can't be good unless its baked fresh in store anyway. Pizza took quite a while, too. Ranch wasn't good either. The paper waste of filling out a form for your order is really obnoxious and outdated. It feels like ordering twice. You spend the time to fill out the form, and then the cashier takes a while to enter it in the register. 8oz size juice is a joke. It's practically a condiment cup. Shouldn't be on the menu. Need at least a 12oz size for the small. They do make the juice fresh, so it takes time. Love how you can customize it however you want. And they don't put ice in it so its not watered down, which is good because it ain't cheap. There was a ton of pulp in my juice though, so I couldn't even finish it. After a 15% tip 2 pizzas and two juices was like $72. That is pretty crazy. Even more crazy when you consider the disappointing quality. I might come back some day and try a sandwich, and maybe a smoothie. But the pizza is a huge NO for me and my mom. read more

Rude customer service. In July I took my husband here for the first time since he likes healthy food. We ordered 2 combos (a combo includes a sandwich, a smoothy, chip, and humus). The guy who took our order was friendly. There was just two more people at the place yet we had to wait for about 10 mins to get the two smoothies (there were three staff at that times). the smoothies weren't that great. My husband got the protein one. He is easy when it comes to food, yet he didn't like it. I took one sip of it and didn't want to drink it again. My drink was OK but nothing special. We then had to wait another 20 mins to get our sandwiches. I noticed that they forgot the chips and humus so I asked my husband to ask them for it. It was a female this time and she gave him the stuff. We went to eat outside. When I checked, she only gave us 1 set, so I went back in to ask for my chip and humus. This time it was a shorter girl at the counter. She gave me an unfriendly look when I asked her for it. She went grabbed it for me but then she whispered something to her other coworker as she looked at me. She made me feel like I was trying to get free food from them even though I already paid for it. Not only that, I ordered the turkey sandwich and they put two thin slices of meat. Each combo was $20, and all I got was this cheap sandwich a mediocre drink and had to ask for my chip and humus. Their chip and humus are prepackaged, yet they didn't bother to give to me right away. Instead, they waited and then forgot for it and then treated me like I was a beggar. They should give customer the chip and humus right away so they won't forget and the customers have to ask for it. I want to support small business but I will never come here again. read more

I hadn't eaten all day and had a long drive back to LA ahead of me. I stopped in and was happy to see they had lots of smoothies, boosts, sandwiches, wraps, and pizzas! I was really upset at my experience here, I am here with my husband because he is stations here and this was my first day trying out the place, I ordered a sandwich that I got earlier that day because it was so good so I came for dinner. When I came the two girls who where working did not say one word to me as I walked in. I'm usually a fan of this place, but today we came in 20 minutes before closing and the employees were very rude. They looked at us like we were trespassing and asked, "can we help you?" in a way that indicated they weren't even going to try. Their juice station was closed, though the business was supposedly still open, and juice is the main point of their business. If we see either of these employees working at any time we return to the business, we will turn around and leave immediately. Very disappointing. Update: today, my mom went by 90 minutes before closing. They had already closed the juice station, and refused to sell her retail items. They were already mopping the floor. 90 minutes before closing. Plus, like my experience, they were rude, and made her feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
