What kept me coming back was the Bodybuilder Breakfast, packed with chicken breast, egg whites, and fruit. When many breakfast options around town lean heavily toward bread and carbs, it was refreshing to find a protein focused meal that fit my routine. The location is another big plus. It's within walking distance of the beach, several shopping areas, and a large open air market where you can browse everything from fresh seafood and produce to clothing, souvenirs, and household goods. Service can be a little relaxed, but the food is consistent, the atmosphere is friendly, and it's an easy place to start your day before heading out to explore Rio.

We had the Belly Buster and Farmhouse Breakfast and it was a MEAL lol! Everything was cooked fresh, hot, and seasoned well. Service: the service was amazing, fast, efficient, and staff is very friendly working together at all the tables. Due to the high demand for this location everyone is fast past but ensure to engage the customers and personalize the experience. Ambiance: the resturant is Brazilian owned with open seating from host. It's can seat max 45ppl and also have outside sidewalk seating. The inside is also decorated according to the season and holiday. My overall score is 5.0/5.0 listen when I tell you when in Rio Brazil this is a MUST!!!

She even let me throw on one extra condiment free of charge (shhh). I got a taco with black beans, veggies, sautéed onion salsa, guacamole and some medium salsa. It was really good and hearty. 3 tacos is only 25 reais! Can't beat that! There are some high tables outside. They are a bit crooked but still nice to sit outside. Good and quick option for lunch or dinner.

We remembered our friends' reviews and happened to jump out of the bus on the right block. There's three little restaurants, all fairly new, on this block all right next to each other and we'll have to come back to check them out. Overall great concept, good use of a tiny space with a glass counter so you can both see and pick your toppings (handy if you forgot the Portuguese words!) with a bar along the other side for maybe 8 seats. The area looked clean, well managed with a tiny bathroom in the back, hooks under the counter to hang your back and even an outlet to plug in your electronic. Options of meat (frango, carnitas, barbacoa, chili or veggie) and a variety of salsas, and toppings (cheese, sour cream, rice, beans, etc) gives you the opportunity to customize your meal. We got the small burrito (which was a healthy portion) with carnitas, cheese, sour cream and the hottest sauce. Unlike Chipotle, they actually mix the ingredients before rolling up the burrito so you don't have all the meat on one end of the burrito and cheese on the other. Despite the chili markings saying it was spicy (and I don't like spicy) it wasn't. However the chicken quesadilla with cheese, tomato, and pico de gallo was significantly spicer (despite saying it was mild). The slushy margarita mix with optional add in flavors of strawberry or green apple it exactly as it sounds. Don't expect any recognizable brand of tequila. Plenty of other refrigerantes were available as well. They do deliver and you can do take out too, so it's convenient either way. Pleasantly surprised by this find.

The wait time was very short -- only about five minutes -- but it was a Wednesday and not a holiday, so I imagine weekends can get much busier. I'd definitely recommend arriving early or making a reservation if you plan to visit on a Saturday or Sunday. The food was excellent. We ordered the Pesto e Burrata, which was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. We also tried the Picadinho Tapajós, and it was one of the highlights: the beans were perfectly cooked, the farofa mix was amazing, and it came with a beautifully prepared egg and fried banana. Such a comforting and authentic Brazilian combination that I'm sure everyone will enjoy. For drinks, the strawberry caipirinha was spot on -- refreshing and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The passion fruit caipirinha also tasted great, although it could have had just a touch more sugar. We also tried the Limoncello Spritz, which wasn't really our favorite, but it may appeal to a different taste. The real star of this place is the view. It's absolutely impeccable -- honestly, there are very few places in Rio (or even in the world) with a setting this beautiful. Having lunch with a direct view of Sugarloaf Mountain feels priceless. Prices were a bit above average, but considering the location, atmosphere, and unforgettable scenery, it was 100% worth it. Highly recommend!

We didn't stay long because I wanted to do the paddle boarding - which I did. The red wine came with corks and they poured me another glass.
