Waited and waited again for the waitress to come back with menus. Tea selection at this TEA ROOM didn't even offer English tea, just cheap bags of artificially flavored tea. Teacups were brought out without saucers (so where would I put my used tea bag?). The chicken salad was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. boiled to death to a paste consistency, terrible texture unless you enjoy cat food. Over seasoned with herbs to disguise the Purina pate flavor. But I did get a HUGE pile of cheap potato chips and yesterday's croissant. My mother ordered the chicken Florentine soup. Ha. The broth was actually very good, but the same shredded, mushy chicken bits plus instant rice and a couple of whole spinach leaves thrown in did not come together for a pleasing soup. The spinach 4 cheese quiche was tasteless with just an ok crust. I took two bites of my chicken salad sandwich and realized I just couldn't stomach it. I was hoping to make another selection but the waitress never came back to the table. Ever. We decided to just leave so we stood by the kitchen doors for approximately 8-10 minutes until the waitress finally made an appearance. She asked "Was everything ok?" I told her" no. The chicken was inedible. I left nearly the entire dish." She turned towards the cash register and curtly said "Sorry to hear that" and without looking up continued to run the bill. Then the snotty "Have a Nice Day" topped it off. NEVER AGAIN
