The worst Chick-fil-a we've been to and it's not even close. We are a University and routinely order from Chic-fil-a - never have had an issue, only a great experience. This location is atrocious. We placed a large catering order - spoke with TWO managers, neither said thank you, no "my pleasure", just incredibly rude people. Meanwhile, this was not a rush hour, all hands on deck time of the day, it was 2:30 on a Thursday afternoon. In addition, the location was dirty - there were scuff and dirt marks on the floor near the front entrance, and paper items on the ground in the bathroom. Just a bad experience - not to mention we purchased over $500 with of food. Forget about the ordering process - we called close to 5 hours in advance and spent a solid 30 mins on hold as the catering service could not get a hold of the store, as no one would answer the phone! Overall, just an awful location, rude managers, dirty and gross, zero personality that makes dining at Chic-fil-a the typical pleasurable experience. My advice, someone else in Springfield should opening a competing Chic-fil-a...you'd put this location out of business in about a week. read more

First off, the food itself was meh. When I arrived to the counter the employee taking the order was rude and had no manners. His Uniform was messed up, and there was another employee making paper airplanes in the store which is VERY unprofessional. Been eating here often. The food is pretty good. The staff is really friendly. Your child can get an ice cream instead of a toy with the kids meal. They always seem busy but the wait has never been to bad. They have also always got our order correct which is always nice. The price is a bit steep but it doesn't seem to stop people from coming. Supply and demand I suppose. Two grilled chicken sandwich meals and a 2 piece chicken strip kids meal costs $24.83 after tax. That's pretty pricey for two adults and a kid at a fast food place. For my money the best meal in the mall. Love the classic number 1 combo. Chicken sandwich with pickle and waffle fries. Food comes out quick and hot. Lots of seating do it being in a food court and the people watching can be epic. Also they have wranglers on the floor who offer to take your trash if they see you are done. Not over the top but pretty good! The Good. Fresh flavorful food. Lots to see. Cleanup done for you sometimes. The Bad. It's in the mall so that can be a turnoff for some. The Ugly. I have never been so attracted to chicken in all of my life. I have to tell you, this is my new obsession. I want to help open one that is not in the mall. It's all about the two pickle phenomena. Now I must say I am an extra pickle kind of guy, I love the taste of dill. I use dill weed when I cook and I do a lot of cooking, just ask my roommate. But when it comes to the Chick-fil-A chicken sangwich you only need two. It just gives it that extra little kick as some say. I like to think that it brings all the flavors together. Have you had the waffle fries I mean how can you go wrong with fries you can see through. It's like Patch Adams and how many fingers do you see? This review is about the service and establishment. Fast food is fast food... It tasted just like I remembered Chick-Fil-A to taste. Service was awesome! We had the manager and another employee come by in the 20 min we were there asking if we needed anything and refilling our beverages. What fast food place does that??!! The missing star goes to the fact it was PACKED with kids. It seemed like a place for mommy and me meetings. EAT the FRIES. Yes, the strips and nuggets are somehow different than other fast food chicken...maybe they are really chicken. We like the lemonade, not as good as really squeezed, but best fast food lemonade. Last time we were in the Glenstone location the staff must have been really bored because they all came out and wiped the SAME clean table like five times. It was eerie. And I know this has been said before but their Lemon aid is amazing. I like the spicy Chicken sandwich and this is my fast food go to. This place gets crushed at lunch. They put people out in the parking lot to get orders and have a runner collecting money and giving change before you get to the window in order to keep the drive thru moving amazingly fast. I can't say enough about this chick fila. My son and I come here at least 2 times a weeks. Restaurant is clean, food is always great and the employees are fantastic. The manager is so sweet and come around to greet everyone. My son loves the play area and the food. They also host special events for the kids every month. Superhero day, princess party, even a baby shower in April. Tuesday's and Thursday mornings they have story time for the kids. I'm very impressed with this restaurant. First of all, it's one of the only restaurants in town that has an indoor play area that is specifically for toddlers. My 17 month old is too little to climb, but loves to play. Chick Fil A's toddler play area was perfect for her. The food is also very good. My daughter generally isn't a chicken fan, but gobbles up every one of her chicken nuggets! I also like that we don't HAVE to get fries for her. She gets the fruit cup and loves it! read more

My son loves this place. The food is good and like all other chick fil a's. The service is friendly. My only issue is the place is always full and I have to park at Red Robin and walk over. The tables are always full so have to wait for one. The drive through is impossible to use as its always out of their lot and down the street to the point that one has to wait 10-15 minutes to get into Red Robin's parking lot to park. I can't for the life of me figure out why they don't just build several more of them in Springfield. I don't count the mall and MSU campus as they are not same as the freestanding buildings with a drive through. If it wasn't such a pain to get in the door I would eat there more than once a month. Also the play place is always packed. Again if we had more than ONE to chose from it would be nice. read more

Normally, the food is great and the service is excellent. However, prior to 8 AM, there is only one clerk at the front counter. There are two at the drive thru. The service is TERRIBLE at this time. There is NO WAY that the one clerk can handle the volume of clients. It took me 5 minutes to get a coffee refill. They need ,at least two clerks to handle the volume. They even ran out of coffee because the one lady couldn't take time to make it and service the customers. Don't go there before 8AM, if you have to be somewhere at a certain time. Don't come here to use you Cow Calendar card. They have a limited Chick Fila menu. I came to get the breakfast sandwich for the month of June, but since they didn't have that item, all they would offer in place of it was ice cream.
