This McDonald's is disgusting. Do not bring your kids here. The entire playplace area smells like pee. The large table next to us was never cleaned, despite the people who ate there left almost an hour ago. The high chairs are filthy. There's a lot of really big flies in here. The entire place is just sticky, the floor, tables, chairs, etc. There is one employee that was very friendly and gave great service. I feel bad she has to work at such a crappy McDonald's. I know it's just McDonald's but at least do the basics and clean. read more

I was eating my breakfast in the McDonald's parking lot when a homeless person approached my car. He started yelling and reached into the car through the window and stole my food out of my hands. Than went to another vehicle in the driveup and yelled at them. This is not the first time with homeless people problems at this McDonald's parking lot. If you are a fan of pure syrup in your cup, instead of a Sprite beverage, large flies inside the store and bathroom and fruit flies, large as ants swarming around and on the ketchup and condiment section, this is the place for you. Ordered double cheeseburger, No Pickles, with extra mustard ketchup and slivered onion. I received double cheeseburger with scant amount of mustard and ketchup and very very few 'minced rehydrated onion specs', AND they put PICKLES on it!! Does a person going through the drive thru, actually have to sit at the drive thru window, unwrap the items ordered to make sure you received the actual items ordered! I will answer that question, YES, YOU DO! Why do they even ask what you want to order when they give you what they decide you should have and how they want to put it together. I visits the Snelling Ave. McDonald's very rarely, because this particular location can never ever seem to get my orders correct! If my friend wasn't driving this evening and I was the driver, we would NOT have went to this location. In the hand full of times I've visited the Snelling Ave., Roseville, MN location in the last 4 years, they are at a solid 6 out 6 visits have screwed up my orders EVERY SINGLE TIME! And I have yet to reach into my bag for a French fry pulling out of the parking lot, and never have received a hot French fry, always just barely warm. How can this McDonald's consistently fail at getting an order correct for more than four years now! These employees are not even capable of laying a slice of cheese centered on a burger! The cheese is always hanging off to one side of the burger, and stuck to the wrapper. I can only think the problem is they are confused laying a square piece of cheese on a round burger. And if that's the problem for these employees, I suggest getting a job at Wendy's, it maybe easier for them to place a square slice of cheese on a square burger! And McDonald's management, I can give you 5 stars for your ongoing knack for hiring people that lack miserably in pride and workmanship to do quality work. If a person can't do their best no matter what the job is, then move on to a position you can take pride in doing. There are know bad jobs, just people doing bad at their jobs. Your employees and your fish sandwich have a lot in common, they both present half of what they should! If you're confused by that comment, your staff works half a$$, and your fish sandwich has a half slice of cheese!! Who does that, absolutely know one! The store manager I spoke with on the phone about this tonight (7-5-25) was not one bit concerned, lack professionalism, cut me off twice by saying "just bring in the receipt", then hung up. Just A very poor experience, A waste and loss of my money, no dinner, lost trust & gained concern with the food handlers , and the shift manager! Ordered a fish sandwich fresh through the drive through and got something extra I did not order. Someone else's deep fried hair. It was deep fried and the color on the hair turned black after being fried. Often hair is bleached then colored. This is what this is. The black globs are the color deep fried leeching out of the hair and burnt black. This comes from broken off braided hair which fell into the fryer. I was offered no free food only got a refund. I received no apology. I am pretty sure the grease did not get thrown out because the manager did not have a clue what was wrong or what to do about it. The manager just gave me a refund and walked away. I called him back to the window to see if he was going to do anything else to make it right and he just said I offered you more food. Yeah like that's what I wanted more hair to go!! Still no apology and he said I already apologize three times. I replied you never said you were sorry and you didn't after that either. The 5 star review is for the manager ... he was the hardest working and friendliest manager I've ever seen at a McDonalds. He was working the register, carrying food out to the tables, and helping customers. He was all over and always had a smile on his face. Ian & Leslie are both sum incompetent workers. Came on my break & in both my bags it was just two large fries. No receipt was ever given for my order , I called that very same min & let them know spoke with Leslie & she rudely said " yeah just let them know we messed your order up they'll fix it for you " I let her know I'll be coming in after 10:00 & I was never given a receipt, as I was on break. Came back & spoke with Ian he said " I need a receipt " told him I didn't have one " trying explain the situation & show him my order thru my phone he stated " I don't care it's not a receipt " 0 stars if I could. We were in Roseville for family pictures and need a quick bite do we stop by the closest McDonald's and this one had a playhouse so it was a plus. My daughter wanted a play area and so we ordered on the stand since I wanted to customized my meals. The staff person came and said they couldn't do some of the customizations because that is just the amount they put on and can't reduce. I said ok. When my salad was served they didn't provide the salad dressing I had asked for no utensils to eat the salad. I had to go to counter and had to wait a couple minutes before I initiated assistance of needing salad dressing and utensils. The play area is nice but some parents do not pay attention and so the kids are slobbering their saliva all over the game console and screen. It was grossed! read more

If I could rate a negative, I would. Lack of communication throughout the staff, I was told to 'calm down'. What upset me the most is when I ordered through the drive thru, I SLOWLY said 4 A, no pickle, add cheese, with a medium chocolate shake, also want a Fish Filet sandwich with a large coffee. Went through, paid and go to the 2nd window where I asked about the fries and coffee. This is when I was told by a person in a blue shirt to calm down. Micky D's has taken a step up...or should I say a giant leap! I'm thoroughly impressed with how McDonalds has adapted its menu to remain a real competitor in the smoothie, coffee and ice cream craze that has left most consumers with expensive options like Jamba Juice, Starbucks, and Dairy Queen. I'm not going to pay upwards of $3.50 for any of these when there are delicious, less expensive treats found right in America's good ole McDonalds. Side note: An Australian guy I met in Krakow while traveling once said to me that the best thing America did for the world was McDonald's breakfast. While it may not be the best thing America has done for the world, the institution of McDonalds has definitely changed my life for the better. From late night runs after a night out to grabbing a $1 movie from the red box to stay in for the night, McDonalds - especially this one - has really made my life a whole lot easier and me a lot happier. read more

Yes, I am reviewing McDonald's, and yes, I am giving it three stars. This location has a 24 hour drive through so I can appreciate it for when I am craving some fries and a fried chicken sandwich. I stopped here on the way to red-eye bingo a few miles down and my experience went as expected..as it should have..since the one thing McDonald's knows to do well is provide consistency regardless of which location you are at. Food came out fresh, fries were not stale, and the chicken nuggets were still crispy--which is a great sign. I like going to this location because it's always busy...which means the food turnover rate is quick...resulting in fresher products. The two drive thru lanes are a little annoying when you are trying to figure out which car has the right of way but they do a good job of managing the chaos. read more

This place isn't a overall bad place I like the food but the Mcchicken doesn't even look like the pictures online and their fries go from no salt to like a whole lot of salt (while you eat them) and that is basically what I hate about McDonald's but otherwise the rest of the food is fine. You know I have been to this McDonalds ONCE before my trip today, and I was pretty content with how they made the two Shamrock Shakes I ordered. They were a beautiful green, creamy, and delicious as I had always remembered--this is why I chose to go to this McDonalds today as I had a craving for their French fries. I had a fine experience in the drive thru, pretty typical mono tone voice and cash exchange, but then I received my fries at the second window. I used all my strength to refrain from consuming a fry on my way home, I finally got into my home and I began to relax on the couch, I eat one fry and disappointment hits me out of nowhere--all I can taste is salt, STRAIGHT SODIUM. I am utterly hurt, I had more faith in this McDonalds. I unfortunately do not see myself going back. read more

First let me say that this is the McDonalds in Roseville MN and not the one in Roseville CA that the person from Simi Valley is complaining about. This is also not the one in Arden Hills (2 lanes)...this location has only 1 drive thru lane. The service at the Roseville MN location is very fast and good. Oh sure every once in a while it slows down when some one new is being trained in but overall it's good. The staff is always pleasant and the food is always hot. The other McDonalds in the area should strive to be this efficient. read more

So like we went in their and like the cashier dude was AMAZING like super nice like give my man a raise anyway so we were getting drinks (I am a male and I was with two female friends) so we were getting drinks and this lady who worked their asked me how I got myself two girls like wth you don't ask someone that then after we sat down she went over to the table next to us and started wiping it for a minute while staring at us then asked us if she could have the tabs on our pop cans I said sure and tried taking it off and after a few seconds of struggling she tried taking the can out of my hands and then she started asking us where we lived and how old we we're which you shouldn't ask people especially an employee we were also sitting in the back of the restaurant so it was out of her way to go by us later throughout the evening she kept walking by our table and looking at us a few times she would stand by the wall and stare at us she continued to talk to us throughout the evening asking us personal questions and we were trying to talk to each other but she kept bothering us and it made it so awkward I would've given one star but again my man on register is a legend that's all. read more

Unhelpful staff at drive thru who gave unclear directions on where to pick up food. Also, it's McDonald's so the quality is subpar and perhaps not the greatest health choice to make. Even if you are on the run go up to the one on university, they will get your food out is a faster order. read more

This was the absolute worse experience I've ever had at McDonald's. I simply wanted to order a chicken nugget combo and a mcchicken sandwich. The woman that "helped" me was rude during the entire process. I wanted to order my combo with a glass of water (I can't drink soda), she informed that if I wanted water I had to pay for each of my items individually that I wasn't allowed to have water with my combo, unless I wanted a bottled water. Finally, after arguing with her for a minute I just decided to order a soda, and give it to my friend. I got up to the window where the woman took my card, and didn't give it back with a receipt (I presumed she put it in the bag with my food). Before I left the window, I checked the bag, and realized my sandwich was missing. I promptly informed the woman that my sandwich was missing. She closed the window, and began talking to another woman I imagine was the manager. Who pressed buttons on the register, that produced a magical receipt--still didn't get one--and informed me that the other woman didn't charge me for a mcchicken. At this point I should have handed my food back through the window, and demanded a refund. Thankfully the mcchicken didn't take that long, and the manager handed me my sandwich. Still no receipts. Honestly, I should have just drove away the moment the inept woman told me I couldn't have water with my meal. I get that it's McDonald's, and I understand that I'm going to get the service I'm paying for, but this visit was horrendous. Finally, after this less than stellar service I got home (I live 5 minutes from this McDonald's) all of my food was cold. read more
