i always order the same thing. and they always come up with some way to forget something/make a mistake on my sandwich. i always get extra onions, and receive little to absolutely none. i try to order pure honey but i always get honey mustard whether i order on the kiosk inside or in the drive thru! i feel like the staff is wonderful at times but there is just not always enough attention to detail. if they made sure to really improve that aspect then i would probably pour more money into this location, but because of it i'd rather not stop here. read more

But we were traveling and my wife wanted a Mocha Frappe, so we pulled in to the St.Helens McDonalds . What a travesty to fast food chains everywhere! Her drink was Okay but I ordered two cheeseburgers, the worst I've ever had! These burgers were from the night before and heated up in the microwave! Bun and all! The bun was too tough to eat, the meat was an inedible piece of crud that my dog wouldn't eat it. My dog eats everything! If you have to serve old food get out of the business! I blame the owner and his management team as they set the rules! This owner is too greedy to be in the restaurant business and should get out as he is the problem with fast food! The people who work here simply don't care about getting your order right, and also have no idea how their restaurant works. Are they not trained at all to know the difference between the Drive-Thru waiting spots (Spots 1 & 2) and the Mobile Order spots (Spots 3 & 4)? The workers don't give a crap. Recently went here, ordered meals in the drive thru for my family with 3 large fries, and as per usual, of course they told us to wait in the parking "spot 3" which was already taken because spots 3 & 4 are MOBILE order spots. Spots 1 & 2 are the drive-thru waiting spots. We sat in the drive thru waiting spot 2 since 3 was taken (BECAUSE WE ARE NOT A MOBILE ORDER). But then they take our meal to spot 3. See the problem? After our meals were almost given to the mobile order in spot 3, we eventually got our order, and they completely forgot all 3 large fries. Mind you, our orders were not complicated. This isn't the first time they messed our orders or told us to sit in the wrong spot. Don't come here if you're in a hurry, it's not worth your time when they mess up your order. read more

Low IQ staff members and poor work ethics! I recommend Burger King which is affordable, clean, fresh food and it recently just opened up.

While attempting to place an order through the drive thru, the female team member, took a long pause after I finished my order of 3 items. She came back and asked if I could repeat my order. So I did, then another long pause She came back and asked about my Happy Meal, which wasn't part of my order of 3 items. So I had to repeat my order a third time. She still had it wrong. So I told her to simply forget that I ordered anything. I was the only vehicle in either lane, so she couldn't be getting my order and anyone else's order confused. I have HAD it with this McDonald's location (Scappoose as well, effective immediately)!! Today I went to order a Coke and noticed something so beyond disparaging- they raised the price of their drinks. McDonald's is well known for having any size $1 drinks.. Sometimes this is what makes me go to McDonald's instead of Taco Bell. I have been giving the St. Helens location SO much money over the last few years (up to eight times a day, everyday!!!) but this is my final straw. How DARE the owner betray its loyal customers like this..talk about money hungry (in the middle of a pandemic, too) This is SO distasteful..I cannot stop shaking right now! I was so angry when I found out, that I drove to Portland so I could go to a location with fairly priced beverages!! Went in to get my free frappe that I earned (happens to be my birthday) and as you can see I had it showing in the app but when I added it to my cart within the MOBILE parking spot for a mobile order it said I hadn't met the conditions - you can see I earned one and it expires 9/27/20. I spoke with the manager and she said that the mobile app is not THEIR PROBLEM!!!!!! So people, if you bought $40 of food, paid them, and it glitched according to the St Helens Manager, THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS DURING A MOBILE ORDER!!!! I will NEVER visit this mcdy's again and I have a very large family with 10 ppl - shame on this McDonald's!! I have NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS AT ANY OTHER MCDONALDS!!! She was extremely rude! Our orders are always made incorrectly and the workers here argue with us about it. Black coffee is always made with cream and or sugar and three separate times now we've had workers reply "well what are we suppose to do with these coffees now?" Or "well it's only sugar, isn't that okay". Messing our orders up is one thing but proceeding to argue with us to keep the messed up order isn't okay. Good customer service and it does have outstanding hours! Not one person seems miserable to be working there and are very pleasant and quick to correct any errors. How can you beat $1 any size soda, coffee or sweet tea. The food is of course as good as any McDonald's can be. read more

On Jan 4th 2022 around 9:18 pm my wife and I tried to pick up an order at St Helens McDonalds #14197 that we place using their APP. Once we got up to the window they couldn't find our order, and after being told repeatedly that they had no record of the order, we just ordered our food again then and there. We spent $43.75, Authorization code 091900, SEQ# 043569, AID: A0000000980840. About 20 min later we noticed the we were charged through APP as well for $40.15, Authorization: 3356413594200768, SEQ# 3356413594200768 Merchant ID: MCD-US-14197. So I called the store and the manager said they didn't get the money therefore they can't reimburse me. So I called McDonalds customer service, and they told me the store does indeed get the money, and my complaint was recorded and the manager at the store would contact me shortly. It is now Jan 21st and nothing. They can keep the money. Dealing with a manager that unprofessional just isn't worth my time. However I want the world to know how poorly management at this particular McDonalds conducts themselves. And now I can cross that store off the list. I hope the $40 was worth it. They put the slow in fast food! Usually the only appeal of McDonalds is that you can get it quick and be on your way. Every time I have gone here there seems to be massive confusion behind the counter and it takes a really long time to get your order. I waited 20 minutes once. read more

'Twas a stormy rainy day when the Taco Bell line was to long. After spotting an open space in one of the 2 drive throughs I made me decision... I would get a Mc. Chicken mini meal.
