First time to a Habit Burger, and had high hopes. I love a good burger! I ordered a Double Char burger to go, with no changes to the standard stuff they put on it. It was brought to me in a reasonable amount of time, considering they were busy. After getting back home, I ate. The burger was still hot and tasty. The burger was sweeter than I expected, probably due to the grilled onions. Lots of lettuce too. I will eat here again, but will probably try to change some things up (like less lettuce) to find my perfect Habit burger! read more

Lots of places to sit Open and airy, lots of natural sunlight Friendly servers There's big screens you can self order as soon as you walk in or you can order at the counter Loved that they had a pickled pepper self serve bar area. First Habit burger experience. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was light, bright, and welcoming. Extremely clean for a fast food restaurant. The fish sandwich was really good. Burger has that 'char' taste we were expecting, unfortunately their packaging had everything smooshed. The corn tots were mushy on the inside, almost like they were not fully cooked... and they forgot to include the dipping sauce and the additional ranch we ordered. I will give this location another try, as I want to give them more stars, but couldn't tonight. read more

Saw that Habit opened nearby, so we had to go try. Upon looking at the menu, it looks like they focus on charbroiled. Wanted to try something different, so I went with the bbq bacon charbroiled with cheese & bf got the santa Barbara char. We also got regular fries & onion rings. The burgers were good,but not the best ive ever had. Patty seemed a little thin & smaller then bun. Fries & onion rings were just ok, nothing special. Price seeemed a little higher for what we got. Apparently today was only their second day of being open, so I'm giving some level of grace. The burger itself was decent, the fries were a little soggy, the onion rings were crisp to perfection, and the chocolate milkshake was solid. In terms of service, it was little disjointed. We ordered from the self serve kiosk and it indicated we would get a text when the order was ready to pickup at the counter. One of the staff came up to us later asking if we ordered a shake and that it was at the counter after being called out. We never heard anyone call out my name nor did we get the text that our order was ready. Shortly after that, similar story where someone brought our food out literally as the text was received as if we had shirked our responsibility to pickup our food. After receiving our food I noticed that the sauces I had ordered were wrong, so I went up and asked someone who was definitely staff and likely a lead or manager. He indicated that they didn't have the sauces I had ordered (Spicy Ranch and Avocado Ranch) were unavailable but would available tomorrow. It would have been a non issue had he not seemed inconvenienced that I asked as if I should have known. Had their kiosk not offered as options I would not have ordered those sauces, that's a them problem to solve if they're out of any items and ensuring their systems don't allow a customer to order so a customer doesn't inconvenience them again asking for what they ordered. Overall the experience was middling at best, a bit overpriced for the size of the burger and soggy fries, and really the saving grace was their staff member Star. She checked in regularly to see how we were doing, cheerful demeanor while cleaning tables nearby, and even offering to take our trays for us to clear the table. read more

Was very interested in trying to out based on recommendation and I have to state I am disappointed & will not back (even though I am still waiting on my refund of $3.58 as I was overcharged for a drink because of an incorrect input into the register). I went on Sunday afternoon - not too busy. I had gotten a coupon in the mail and was at the kiosk for a bit before I was told I needed to come to the register. Right where you enter, a kiosk greets you. I ended up getting (2) char cheese burger combos with 1/2 onion rings/fries & 1 fry, a chocolate milkshake and fountain drink. I had a free double char cheeseburger. When the order was checked, I found she charged me for 3 combos instead of 2. I was told that I would see the refund back on my card because they couldn't do it right then (probably why I am still waiting). It was a little long of a wait time that I couldn't figure out why but the most disheartening was that when I got my food, drove home (less than 4 miles) and pulled out my food - the bottom bun of my cheeseburger was too soggy to eat. So decided to give Habit Burger a try last night. It was middle of the road, at best, in almost all respects. As you walk in the clean and large but oddly cramped space is two computerized ordering kiosks just inside the doors, which I think adds to the feeling of space being at a premium. The kiosk ordering system is slightly clunky and takes a bit of maneuvering especially if you're like us and don't know what you want so it took a minute or two and due to its placement (and another couple already using the one next to us) it caused a lineup out the door as people came in behind us. I ordered a double burger meal and my wife ordered a bbq burger meal and we also got an order of onion rings which came out to just over $38 (). When we were done ordering the machine told us they would text us and/or call out the last 4 digits of our number when the order was ready.....odd but ok. After a reasonable amount of time (especially with how busy they were) they, very quietly, called out a number that was similar, but not quite our number several times so I went up and asked if that was for number xxxx and she said yes........ So this part is, admittedly, a quirk and an odd pet peeve of mine.....I don't like my food physical touching the tray itself......the liner, ok.......the tray, no. Well, the tray liner is very small for the size of the tray and the way in which the food was placed (and the way in which the food is wrapped) on the tray some of the food is touching the tray (the fries) and some is perilously close to touching the tray (the burgers). Because of how the burgers are wrapped they are quite literally spilling out of the front of the wrapper, which didn't help the tray touching skeeviness, and almost made them very messy to eat. My burger was very middle of the road, nothing more nothing less. It was at an ok temperature the ingredients were ok, and the taste was ok but adding to the messiness factor the bun seemed to be slightly too small for the burger patty itself. My wife's burger was largely the same with the notable exception being hers was WAY over sauced making it kind of a wet soppy mess. The fries were slightly above average however they were served at a temperature that was a bit below optimal in my opinion. The onion rings were good and the drinks were what you'd expect from a soda fountain. The "service" was ok'ish.....I mean initially it was computerized then with them calling out the wrong number......quietly......in a noisy restaurant......made things more difficult than they needed to be. The ambiance, such as it is, was ok, but like said given the amount of tables and the set up of the ordering kiosks seemed cramped. It was also fairly noisy which given how busy it was, was not surprising, however the high ceiling and concrete floor didn't help much. So, like said at the beginning, very much middle middle. Why the 2 starts instead of 3 stars then? Very simply, the price. $38 and change for 2 burgers, 2 fries, 2 drinks, and an order of onion rings is very steep for that kind of quality. You could get better value for your money going lots of different places. read more

First time having The Habit. The burgers and fries are tiny for the price. They missed the sauces I ordered and I was told go pump it yourself, but all they had was ketchup... I literally ate my burger in 8 bites. Headed back to the "other" place next time. The burger was tasty. I like the bun. Patty was thin. I'd say it's a better burger than 5 guys (too soggy) and maybe a bit better than in-n-out (mostly bun). It's just like eating a Jr. burger at Wendy's for double the price. read more

Ordered double cheese char with lettuce wrap. The burgers were good but the wrap made it messy to eat. Im not sure how a lettuce wrap can be made to obey, but I'd suggest serving in a bowl with shredded lettuce in place of the wrap. read more

I was really excited to try Hanit burger since it's really close to me and heard good things. I have to say I was super disappointed. I love salt.. probably too much but I have to say the burger was wayyyyy too salty along with the onion rings. The chicken nuggets weren't bad and the sauces I tried were all good the fries were pretty average but yeah, the burger was really salty and a bit tough and soggy bun. I'll probably give them another try since they just opened and maybe need time to get it all right but if I can give any advice it's PLEASE tone down on the salt!! I had a BBQ Charburger with bacon and cheese and found it to be tasty, albeit a little small. I had it well done and with white American - and I appreciate that both options are available. I spent my high school years in SoCal (where burger joints are a specialty), and this reminded me of those places. The place is clean and bright, the staff was cleaning pretty much constantly, i got a pattymelt that would have been much better if the onions hadn't been caramelized to the point if burnt, the fries were crispy and hot, my biggest problem with this place is it is a fast food joint, and it was 30$ for two burgers and one order of fries and two drinks. AND they have the gaul to ask for tips! We won't be going back, go to heathen brewing same price way better fries and burgers. read more

Still ironing out some details here like all fairly new restaurants. Went on opening day and have returned 4 or 5 times. Each time is smoother. I don't enjoy the person waiting at the door to greet you and try to direct you to the counter instead of letting me use kiosk. If I could recommend one thing, it would be giving folks their drink cup when the order is placed. I waited about 20 minutes one of the times during lunch and was bummed to wait so long... drink cup would have definitely helped! Overall, good place that just needs some polish read more
