I think it's rare in general for McDonald's to receive a 5-Star review but I was beyond pleased with my experience. I waited to place my mobile order until I got to the store just in case they didn't have the smoothie machine running, but not only was it running, they had ice cream, icees and all of their pies as well. As soon as I hit send she got my fry and made my drink I literally got my food and smoothie in under 2 minutes and I wasn't the only one waiting. I love how they were giving out all of the drinks to the orders as soon as they came in and how courteous they were. read more

I walked in and there were 5 visible McD employees, later 2 more become visible - total of 7. Not one acknowledged my presence at the register or stopped their obviously fascinating conversations. This McDonald's could use some work. They have a nice and convenient walk up window, but after waiting 5 minutes no one came over. When we walked inside there were several employees just standing around while customers placed orders at the kiosks. Once we got our food, we noticed there was a sign that said they were short staffed so you had to use the kiosks. It would have been nice if this was posted in the window instead of the workers just looking out the window ignoring us. read more

Came here today for a quick dinner. What a mistake. The place is dirty. Stuff on the floor and not one table was clean to sit at. They had a sign saying they were out of Big Macs. WORST PLACE EVER. I came here with friends for a normal quick meal. When I received my food, the cashier was super rude and threw my food at me. When I asked for some sauce, she threw it at my bag. To make things worse, I ordered a lemonade that was just sitting on the counter and I didn't receive it until an HOUR later. I also ordered a frappe, but when I received my lemonade, they told me their machine didn't work. Turns out, their reason for the machine being broken is completely false, as they stated they just "didn't want to make them," yet I was still charged extra. Service was insanely slow for others due to the fact that ALL BUT ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES WALKED OUT. They had one poor worker doing everything. When they returned, the workers immediately started using their phones. The place is also SUPER trashed even though there's a sign that that's they mop every 30 minutes?? There are also BUGS as a CATERPILLAR fell onto my friends hair from the ceiling. I don't usually do yelp reviews but this place was genuinely a creation from the devil himself. They had no toilet paper in the holder, the toilet was off balance and not properly gripped to the floor. Employees were not doing their jobs, and were just walking around even though the line was out the door. Took 20 mins to get a soda. Just wanted to go to the bathroom but there is a code, so hopefully you don't need to go that bad because a snail can make food faster then these workers.The screen with order numbers on it was smashed in. These staff members make more than hospital workers, teachers, firefighters, cops, and paramedics yet when tasked with taking an order all they do is yell "there's a kiosk". There was a line of approximately 12 people and the one functioning kiosk was in use and was slow and not accepting payment. It was obviously purposeful that they did not want to accept our order halfway through so half of us didn't even order. The bathrooms were blocked off even for patrons. I'm assuming this was due to them not wanting to clean them. The attitude in this establishment is unreal and really needs to be addressed. read more

When you go to McDonald's normally you know what you are going to get. While we all know McDonald's is not 5 star food we understand that it ia consistent gor the most part. Well in 47 years very few times the golden arches has surprised me. Today was o e of those times. We go in and use the kiosk to order. I do not I itially notice the amount of people standing i. The lobby upon arrival. The lobby is full standing room only. You might think Ronald himself was here but, alas, no the service was slow. Imagine Flash (the sloth) from Zootopia. Its like they were in slow motion. I ordered from the kiosk and my second I dictation this was going to be a bumpy rode was no receipt from the kiosk. I got the attention of what I believe to be the shift supervisor, to no avail she looked at me and kept working. So I waited for my food and waited and waited and waited. The youngan they had working the fries could t be ordered with staying on task. The lobby was bustling and the dude on fries was walking around and not at all worried about the fries. Once I gpt the food I immediately knew the bag was issuing some items. They forgot 2 10 count nuggets. Normally no big deal.but it took almost ten minutes to get someone's attention. Once I told the only good employee there, the young man at the cash register, he told the cook amd she had to drop some nuggs. Finally got the rest of my food and never once was approached by mgmt. I don't really leave bad reviews but this place seriously needs to close down with all these bad reviews. We come in at 6pm and all the seats were already up. Everyone was told to order from the kiosk. There was no option to choose a drink so they were just giving ppl random drinks and would roll their eyes when customers asked for a drink change. One lady asked to use the bathroom and the girl screamed at her telling her bathrooms were closed but they were using it. 20mins later, they kick everyone out saying they're closing but they're not. Our guess is that they just don't want to clean tables and bathrooms. I went to get food with my friends and we ordered on the kiosk and got 4 happy meals. We go to pick up the order and we see our drinks. the worker malachi was so extremely rude. after waiting 15 mins for a few happy meals, we went to the pickup area when he rudely told us to move. we saw our order and our drinks and asked him for them, when he told us our order number, which then we said "how was i supposed to know that" with a response of that "because i just told you" after more waiting he gave us the order that was supposedly ours, which then we told him wasn't our order. we saw our drinks and our order waiting and while we politely asked for it he would cut us off and walk away mid sentence. we asked him to be able to communicate with us instead of being rude, which he once again walked away . after more waiting we were given our orders and we asked for the drinks that were waiting around and he rudely slammed them down infront of us. other customers witnessed this and called his behavior "ridiculous". after waiting over 30 minutes for cold food he was still rude and blamed it on being short staffed. we also witnessed the fries being put into the container with his exposed hands, no gloves and no cleanliness. Service is slow, and the quality just isn't there compared to the majority of their locations. No one answers the phone. We tried to place a large order and were left disappointed when it just didn't show. Called corporate since the store doesn't answer their phone and corporate didn't seem to care. The ice cream machine is always down (shock). For such a prime location you would think they would work harder on customer service. Not even consistent by McDonald's standards. The fact that this place is still open baffles me. The people that work here are either lazy and incompetent, or downright stupid. 2-9-24 at 8:15pm my 7 month pregnant wife had to use the restroom and had to go bad. She was told by the manager that she was to order something before she could use it She had planned on buying something after using the restroom,however, the manager on duty absolutely made her buy something before she could use the restroom. I understand that businesses depend on purchases to stay open,but give me a break. There was no reason for the manager to be like that. She is pregnant! His staff even advised him that she appeared pregnant and he did not care. Very inconsiderate. I am pretty sure people have sued over this same type of behavior. I am glad I did not go inside. A non-uniformed employee locked us out Saturday night at 7:30 , by preventing us from entering as another patron was exiting. He stated that many others had also asked why the door was locked , but that "she" told him to close because "there were a lot of people in here". This McDonald's location on Broughton Street in Savannah is a reliable McDonald's when you are hungry and need something quick and easy. I really like the location and that they have a walkup ordering window outside on the sidewalk. The food is well made and they have really good customer service. This McD's is located at the corner of Jefferson and Broughton. With so many interesting places to eat in Savannah this stop was simply for a coffee. There's a bunch of places to get a coffee in Savannah as well but for a medium coffee for 1.70, McD's is fine. This place doesn't look as well kept as other McD's and sort of looks unkept. It's also one of the smallest McD's I've seen as well. The seating with round tables and round short chairs by the entrance are uncomfortable. read more
