Entered with my elderly mother-in-law. We waited and got to the top of the line and she ordered a beverage. There was a sign that the bathrooms are "closed for cleaning." We we waiting more than 10 minutes and it was clear the bathrooms were simply closed. So I told the gentleman that took our order that we needed to use the restroom and he said they were closed. I told him you're not allowed to close restrooms at a restaurant and asked for the manager. The manager, named Tasha, came to the counter and told me the restrooms are closed because one restroom is broken so they are for employees only. I told her that you cannot have a restaurant open serving food without an open restaurant for the customers and that's a health code violation. I explained we needed to use the restroom. She denied me access. I told her that I was going to call this into the health department on Monday if she did not allow us to use the restrooms and she still told me that we could not use them. So I will be calling McDonald's corporate tomorrow and the health department. Someone needs to educate this staff that it's not optional to close the restrooms to your customers at a functioning restaurant that is serving food. I was not rude about it but the manager was and she was also uneducated on these rules as well in the manner by which she spoke to me. I would not recommend this particular location. read more

This was absolutely the rudest staff I have ever encountered. Not only did they look at me like I had three heads when my family and I walked in . I thanked one staff member she didn't even acknowledge me at all . I thought maybe they didn't know how to speak until one yelled at another guest (child) about taking a bite out of his burger inside, which we all would've know about if the staff even acknowledged any of the guest, as at least six of them stood there and looked at guests like they were crazy, then 4 laughed and went and hid. read more

I came here to visit a month ago (so this review is a month old, but I just had to write it). Customer service is horrible here. I should have known bette than to try to eat here because I was warned a few days earlier by some customers who had just received a refund for poor customer service. However, I ended up trying my luck a few days later at about 930 at night, only be greeted at the window with a "yea". I was off struck at first and then looked at the guy to see if he was being serious. He was dead serious. I ended up saying "if that is how you are going to greet me and I am Trying to spend my money, then never mind". I left and went to 5 Guys Around the corner. Finally one of the several homeless people camping out in there took pity on me and said I have to order at the kiosk because, "They ain't never going to take your order." There was a sloppy looking guy with a McDonald's shirt on standing there in the lobby looking at me so I asked him to take my order and he told me the person who takes orders is on break so I'd have to order at the kiosk. When it came out incorrect (a diet Dr. Pepper given instead of a Diet Coke) and missing some sweet and sour sauce for nuggets ordered, other workers just looked around instead of helping fix the situation. This place is awful. We stopped here to get food for my 3 year old nephew because ITS MCDONALDS!!! The people behind the counter care more about chatting with each other vs helping paying customers. One of the gals was wearing a head wrap typically worn to bed while bending over the counter eating fries. Another gal was itching her hair while preparing someone's order. Horrible service and reception from the white blond heavyset woman! 6/24 at 1:34pm. She seemed upset for some reason, did not even make eye contact nor did she bother to help when the credit card scanner was not working forcing me to try a number of cards before it worked. She just impatiently stood there the whole time! She also seem like she was having a really bad time with the other employees. As a tourist in Savannah, I was quite disappointed yes as I found everyone quite friendly and respectful until this encounter. Perhaps the manager at the McD's will see this. Found this quaint old building had a McDonald's while doing a trolley tour of downtown. Stopped in as we got off the trolley for city market and walked over. Inside has an electronic ordering station or you can order from an employee. No public restrooms - must be a paying customer and get the code from the cashier. Food and service was good. read more

This location, by far is the standard for a fast food joint. It tastes fresh! It is always fast! And they are always friendly! I was amazing at how well my double cheese burger tasted the first time I ordered from here. It was hot and fresh, looked well put together and I received my food only moments after ordering. Door says they close at 11, they started turning people away at 10 saying they're done taking orders. Also, there is a 20 minute time limit to eat your food. They would also pull the door shut as soon as customers leave to make sure no one could make it in. read more

We got a refund on our order immediately after we watched the cook drop two buns on the floor then pick them up and put them back on thr line to use. The manager did refund us and apologized; however the cook continued to cook using same gloves and was not talked to.
