I stopped in for a chai latte, I'm trying to visit more local coffee shops instead of spending my money at the bigger chains. This is a super cute shop with laidback vibes. I walked over so parking wasn't an issue for me, but there are parking garages nearby and street parking although those spots get taken quickly. I love that Coffee Fox carries vegan pastries but I didn't try any on this visit. They looked delicious so I'll definitely be getting one next time. It was somewhat busy but that's to be expected on a Monday morning, my wait time to order was less than 5 minutes. I really enjoyed watching the barista make the drinks. With it being a downtown location, parking can be difficult during busy times, but that is kot unexpected. Ordered nitro cold brew and was not disappointed. The space is relatively small with seating for maybe 15 customers. After looking over the menu, I decided on an iced Horchata Latte, which was quite satisfying. The espresso was strong but not overbearing, and the vanilla with a hint of cinnamon blended really well together. It was a very solid coffee. Can't go wrong with The Coffee Fox!!! It's a small coffee shop that serves up some mean coffee. In addition to the standard coffee options they have some specialties - Mexican Mocha, Cafe Con Leche, Cafe Cubano, Horchata Cafe. We tried the Cafe Con Leche, Cubano, Horchata and they were all amazing. We all opted for the hot coffees but you could get them Iced as well. They also have muffins, Kolaches, and other assorted pastries. The egg and cheese Kolaches were yummy. Coffee is great. Service is beyond rude. I took a few trips (I live down the street) to the shop before I wrote this, just to make sure I didn't catch them on a bad day or something. Nope. Staff is rude, and one girl in particular is truly awful. Won't look at you, doesn't respond when you say "good morning", "how's it going" etc... Gets upset if you ask her to do literally anything. My last trip she handed me my coffee, I said "thank you, could I please have a straw?" and she rolled her eyes at me and audibly sighed. Worth noting, the straws are behind the counter. If I was the owner, I would've fired her yesterday, as I've seen this behavior consistently with other customers as well. If you want a coffee shop with great vibes, check out "Gallery." Great little coffee shop in downtown. The place was busy and seating is limited but we got our coffee and found a table to enjoy our drinks and warm up on a cold morning. My only complaint is that they don't have their menu up where you can see it before you get to the counter. They do have a few printed ones you can grab but you have to squeeze by the person ordering to grab one off the counter. Maybe have it posted up or have the printed menus by the door.
