I have never seen a drive-thru run less efficiently than I did tonight. They were letting one car through at at time, start to finish, before even beginning the next car's order. The driver in front of me had a large order so I ended up waiting 25 minutes at the order screen before being helped. I don't know what led them to think that that's a proper way to run a drive-thru but whatever it was, they should probably just not be open during late night hours until they fix it. read more

Very rude customer service. They don't have any self serve counters, ketchup in back, napkins in back, no drink stand. Asked employee for items, rolling eyes and appeared irritated after asking for two items. Cold fries! Horrible place. Sadly, this has to be the worst McDonald's...ever. Have tried my best to give this place a chance. Between, never and I mean never getting an order correct to unable to getting just a receipt, it boggles the mind. The staff seem not care, but I'm not sure they don't care by chance or by design from management (a term I use loosely, like very loosely). Yes, it's a brand new box store, less than 8 months, but they seem to recycle the same broken ice cream machines. So, it's prettier with no change in service offered. Got overcharged for 3 items off the value menu. My order should have come to $12 and some change after tax. I was charged $19. Was not offered a receipt. My fries were stale and nuggets were dry. Didn't receive any napkins or dipping sauce. I also had to keep repeating my order to the person taking it because it didn't seem like they were listening. I'm writing this review specifically for our server Kristina with a K. We came late at night and Kristina was the only server working. Her service was excellent (5 Stars). She let us know what was available on the menu and was very attentive to our orders. But lowkey, I don't understand how there is only one person working and servicing people---and if it's a corporate store, something seems wrong about that. I also don't know what's up with cash only. I've come here a couple times and it's always cash only after a certain time. It seems like it makes it more difficult as opposed to running the system and using card. i really like McDonalds, my friend thinks it's the best fast food chain restaurant. I had a walk in on a McDonalds that was recently updated and remodeled and upon walk-in i was flabbergasted. Machines every where, I know it may be convenient for the workers but take me for example, I'm young and I was still somewhat confused about how to work the machines and what goes where. You can imagine how upsetting or unfortunate it would be for an elder who can't see trying to order with no assistance. I feel like customer service isn't what it used to be. Okay this McDonalds just went through a remodel so I thought now maybe I will get fresh HOT food. So I ordered a fillet of fish only one bite was fishy. It was warm. Then I ordered the quarter pound with cheese and when I got home I opened to eat it and the bottom bun was hard like leather so it obviously was sitting around for a while under heat lamps I presume. But they are supposed to be cooked hot and fresh to order. So this is the last time I will be visiting Mc Donald's. Very dissatisfied. This McDonald's is why a zero star review needs to exist. It's 24-hour, but don't dare go between Midnight and 6 a.m. They'll likely be doing cash only during that time AND/OR take so long it's better to drive to the one in Burien. Today was my last straw with this location I've lived in the area for years and it has always been suboptimal at best. As others have noted they went through an entire tear down and rebuild, yet the people running it are still the same piss poor workers and makes whatever crazy money they put into redesigning it a waste. Got there at 6 a.m. and two cars went through ahead no problem. I get to the window and they say give me a minute. No problem. Almost 10 minutes later another car pulls up to the other drive through and they got their order taken in less than a minute. The Asian woman just said "there's only two people here" ... well then the other one should be taking orders and don't have two drive-thru's. Just made a terrible establishment a million times worse. I drove to the one in burien instead and got my food in under 90 seconds with a friendly woman who was manning the window. Almost like it's not rocket science to run a fast food franchise. read more

This has got to be one of the worst McDs locations in all of seattle. The drive thru usually takes forever, the food has never tasted fresh, the staff is usually rude or you can't understand them, and they get the order wrong at least half the time. I've lived in west seattle for 5 years now and every time I go to this store I end up calling myself stupid and asking why I give them another chance. The fries are always cold and not salted, the burgers always taste old and chewy, they almost always screw up the kids happy meal order, the ice cream has a weird funky taste to it... just not good. Jeebus, I never thought I'd review a McDonalds, but this is my "go to" McD's on those nights that I just HAVE to have some of their signature fries and chicken nuggets. What made me want to draw attention to this particular McDonalds is the fact that I can *always* understand what the people who "man" the drive through are saying, even if it's apparent that English is not their first language. I cannot tell you how many times I've gone through a fast food drive thru and the attendant's accent is so thick that I can't understand them and half the time they can't seem to understand me. Also, the staff here are always friendly and smiling even though I always seem to get stuck behind the SUV that is ordering half the menu and then wants to return their happy meal for a different toy. Dude, it's a McDonalds in Westwood across from the transit hub. What exactly are you expecting? A Michelin star experience? If you want a higher end burger go to Burger Boss on Delridge or Zippy's on 15th. If you need 800 calories and enough salt to sterilize a farm for $6 and you're in a bad hurry, go to McDonalds. When we're pinched bad for time it's our default quick meal at this location. They've never once screwed up the food, it's fast, it's not overtly dirty, the staff deals with our odd extra request with no static, and it tastes like every other McDonalds ever. It's 12:25am and I sit writing this with no dinner. I pulled into the drive-thru after a LONG day of work just after 12am hoping to get a quick dinner before bed. I'm told by the 18 year old on the microphone that they are cash only--it will be 10 minutes before they can take cards again--"Will that work for you?" he says. "No, it doesn't work. So...do I sit here for 10 minutes?" I replied. "I'd prefer you didn't" is the response that came throught the speaker. "I can't back up...there's someone behind me" I say. "There's nobody waiting. You should be able to drive through" he replies. I pull up to sit behind a Suburban for over 4 minutes (I timed it) before I can get out of the line...with no food! While it's the closest McDonald's to me, I won't be giving them my business again. I'd rather go to bed hungry, which apparently I am tonight. read more

This McDonalds is always dirty, under staffed, lack of customer service, and rarely the ability to give you your correct order. I attempted to get a hamburger in a pinch. The drive-thru was stacked with cars and the drive-thru could only handle one car at a time from order to delivery of the food. In the meantime everyone else is waiting at least 10 minutes per car to give their order. I finally gave up and backed out as the cars behind me did too. As I drove thru the parking lot I noticed cars parked on the other side of the bulldog as they were asked to pull forward and continue to wait for their food. Went there around 5:30am... The only customer in the drive-thru at the time. Seemed like only two people were working. I was given the wrong drink, and no straw to boot. So I had to pull in around front and go in to correct both those issues. Then when I unwrap BOTH my breakfast burritos on the way down the road, I find the absolute *worst* burritos I've ever had at a McDonald's, and admittedly, I've been to a lot of them. So thin and void of substantive material, I could pinch them slightly and feel my finger on the other side. Almost nothing inside either one except soft runny egg, and little to no sausage. Seriously, the WORST McDonald's ever! They regularly forget items in my order. And today, they say the filet of fish only comes with half a piece of cheese. Oh, you can get more for fifty cents! Are you kidding me?! Maybe they should take the WHOLE piece of cheese off the menu picture. Every other McDonald's I have been to has put a whole piece of cheese on the sandwich. One store even put two! I go to this store because it's on the way to my weekly errands. Even though McD's is HORRIBLE for us, I let my kids have it once a week while running errands. It's one of the only things they actually eat. I will now drive to the one closer to my house but in the opposite direction of my grocery store.
