Calozzi's Cheesesteak is hands down the best cheesesteak that I have tried in this area. I'm sure it's better in PA, but for Washington State, it is truly delicious. You order at the window on North side of the shop and pickup at the window on the South side of the shop. There used to be limited indoor seating but that is no more. There are, however, a couple of outdoor picnic tables which is better than nothing. Definitely a take out place. I had the original with Cheese Wiz. They double wrap the sandwich in foil and butcher paper and if you include the paper bag it comes in, you have a triple wrapped mound of yumminess! The steak is chopped finely and the Wiz is oozing all over the sandwich. They cook it to order so it is piping hot when you open it and it smells wonderful. The bun surrounds the contents pretty well but as with this type of sandwich it can get messy quickly. Definitely use caution. Always a crowd here and everyone looks happy with anticipation of the arrival of their coveted cheesesteak (especially me!). Give this place a try and you won't be sorry.

Food - Good portion size. Comes out soaking sopping wet in oil. Bread is super soft and soggy. Sometimes not enough cheese. Meat can be overcooked or dry sometimes. Service - Service is fine, they're friendly. Ambiance - Little shop on the side of the road. Take your food to go or eat in the car.

Don't judge. I had already started biting into it =) if it's not a little messy, I don't trust it - cheese everywhere makes it delicious!!

I've been going to Calozzis since they were on 4th Ave downtown Seattle. To me they are one of the best cheesesteak places in town. The portion is generous, packed with meat and the bread holds firm while still being soft. Order a regular cheesesteak with the fried onions, cheese wiz and add provolone. You're welcome!

My husband said he really enjoyed his sandwich. The bread was perfect which for me is really important for a sandwich! I don't eat meat so I wasn't able to try one. FYI ** you can't order a sandwich with no Meat. I love good bread and cheese w/veggies. Ordering a sandwich with no Meat is Not An Option for some weird reason but I respect it'. We just happened to pass by on our way from the Museum of Flight. Definitely worth checking out. They had 3 tables for outdoor seating. No inside seating.

As a Philly native, have been wanting to check this place out for a while. Their limited hours have made it hard, but was it worth the wait. We both ordered the mushroom steak with onion & provolone. Brought them over to Georgetown Brewing Company less than a mile away. My partner immediately goes "it smells like Delco." Best steak I've had in the PNW. Even the rolls taste like something from back home! We will be back, I know they will taste even better with a Birds win! Fly Eagles Fly!

I'd heard they were good, but holy smokes, I didn't realize they would be *that* good. Here are my recommendations: - Get the Tatstrami. Its combination of flavors is so freaking good. - Order online and then sweep in and pick it up. Since the place does most of its business during lunchtime, there's always a line and this is a way to skip that. If you want to venture beyond a pastrami sandwich, I highly recommend the chicken cheesesteak. While I normally opt for beef when it comes to cheesesteaks, Tat's actually isn't amazing but their chicken one is. So get that instead. In short, this is tied with Dingfelders for the best sandwich in Seattle. Pay it a visit and bring your appetite.

The sandwich was great. Hot, fresh, flavorful (quite spicy - but I like it), moist, and large - about enough for 2 people. Packed with meat, cheese. onions, and peppers. I'd order here often if I lived in Seattle. The zucchini fries however were not good, especially for $12. Very bready, the slices of zucchini were too skinny, and portion size was kind of small. It was only good because it was hot and fried. But the zucchini itself had a strange flavor..kind of fishy? I would not recommend these, maybe just stick to fries but everything else was good. Sandwich - 5/5 Zucchini Fries - 2/5 I ordered online, which was fairly simple, and you pick up from a side door of the building to the kitchen in the parking lot (left side), you do not have to go inside. Pick-up service was friendly. Overall excellent sandwiches!

This was one of my top bites of the day, hands down. I tried the salad without any dressing to really get a taste for their Philly fixings, and it was SOOO GOOD. 10/10! Tonight, they were at Hell Bent in Lake City. We love that this is a regular spot for them these days because it is the easiest location for us to get to on their schedule. My go-to is either the Chicken Philly or the Turkey Tatstrami since I don't eat red meat. Tonight it was the Turkey Tatstrami. My husband and son always go and pick up the sandwiches. The folks working the truck are so kind and *always* remember them. There's something to be said about being a regular and having a friendly rapport with these cool people. They are often super busy but recognize my family every time. :) There were a lot of people waiting for their food when we got there, but the line to order was short. Everyone was patient - they knew dinner was going to be good! These sandwiches are not for everyone. If you don't like ones that get really messy and require several napkins, this isn't for you. Well, at least the sandwiches that I always order, anyway. What I love: - the super friendly staff, always upbeat and welcoming - the crazy delicious sandwiches, wrapped in white paper (I just love when sandwiches are wrapped in white paper) - their steak sauce. You have to ask for it if you're not getting a cheesesteak sandwich. I always get some. There is an old ad campaign for an infamous fast food chain that featured celebrities biting into their burgers and having the sauce drip onto them. Tat's sandwiches make you feel like you're actually in one of those commercials, loving every moment as the sauce drizzles down your chin. The bread on both sandwiches is perfect. Toothsome with a cornmeal dusting but moist and gentle against the sandwich fillings. The pastrami is fragrant and tender, and its amped up by its accompaniment of crisp cabbage slaw. The cheesesteak is so juicy, and the cheese is complementary to the steak but doesn't steal the show. As you can see, Tat's sandwiches are incredibly generous with the meat, as well! Pro tip: if you happen to have a bag of French onion Sun chips lying around, eat them with the pastrami. It's symphonic. It's worth mentioning that their staff is super friendly and helpful, too! Heading from WA-16, you take the Sprague Ave exit and it will be on your right; at the corner of Earnest S Brazill St. PARKING There's plenty of parking if you want to walk up and order or eat there. AMBIANCE Not much for ambiance. It's just a burger stand with uncovered tables and chairs. I believe most people just use the drive thru. SERVICE I ordered at the drive thru. It's just like any other drive thru experience. There was one vehicle in front of me. It took about 10 min to get my food from the time I ordered, waiting for the customer in front of me, and paying the woman at the window. One note I'd like to make is that I was told they do not accept Capital One credit cards, which I found extremely weird. I thought she meant Mastercard so I was going to give her a Capital One card with Visa, but she was adamant that it was specifically Capital One that doesn't work. I didn't feel like arguing so I just used a different card. FOOD So I got myself a Philly cheesesteak. I've read the burger was good too so I also got a double cheeseburger meal. The cheesesteak was decent. All around had good flavor. The cheese was slightly overpowering in my opinion, but I didn't mind it. I just wish the cheesesteak was a little bigger. The burger was okay. It didn't really stand out compared the other options in the area. I personally enjoyed the cheesesteak more. The fries were good. Better than your average fast food fries. OVERALL I might come back. It's kinda out of the way from where I live and I have so many other options. But it's not a bad stop if I'm already in the area and in the mood for a cheesesteak.
