We don't go to McDonald's often, and when we do, I don't usually feel compelled to Yelp about the experience. However, this experience was good enough to warrant sharing. First, the staff were really professional and courteous. Also, the food was fresh and well prepared. Finally, everything we ordered (shamrock shake, Coke, chicken nuggets, apple pie) were delicious. Not much can be said about McDonald's food or ambiance since they're pretty consistent standards across most stores. This location shines because of their crew running the operation. One member that stood out to me in particular was the man at the cash register taking orders Tristan. The entire time he was attentive and extremely polite. He checked on everyone even while they were waiting for their orders. He answered all questions about order time with genuine compassion and made sure to get an answer from the kitchen without dismissing the concern from the customer. For me, he made me feel seen and appreciated as a customer which isn't standard for fast food establishments. Keep up the good work! read more

The difference between going to a McDonts and a McDo's are the fine folks that handle the McYumYums. This McDonald's is for sure a McDo's. Thanks to the guys and gals that worked on 9/6/23. I explained that some sort of hoodwinks had taken place, and I had mistakenly been given fishlike quality chicken nuggets that reminded me of a children's "kid cuisine" meal. At first he denied my claims. He swore nothing was amiss and that these were in fact the same tenders I had been ordering since they came back on the menu a 1-2 years ago. I said but what about the real unprocessed meat? Flaky crispy breading, the unmatched moist delicious snap of that first heavenly bite. He cut me off to offer me some sort of compensation on the phone. I declined, I was confused, i mean had I imagined the crispy tenders of my past? No!! McDonald's who doesn't or should I say who hasn't eaten at McDonald's? I believe this McDonald's is the one on Kitsap way and their drive thru is open 24hrs. Theirs Free WiFi and they have a play area for the kiddies so they can play afterwards. The staff for the most part are all cheerful and always welcomes you with a smile. The menu is your All TimeFaves with a few New Specialty burgers that are for a limited time only. I always seem to order a Large Double Quarter Pounder Meal. It's not the McDonald's of old rather it's a overweight McDonald's who wants to live longer. And in order to do so must change and adapt, and is more health conscious and wants to eat healthier to live longer! I personally try not to eat here more then 1-2 times per month hard to do when your in a rush and need sustenance immediately! Overall McDonald's is still a Classic and for people of all ages! read more

I unexpectedly ended up taking someone close to me to the ER at the nearby hospital. When I found out we would be there all night I stepped out to get something to eat around 10 pm. I asked the guys working the drive through if they had any hot coffee and they said they'd brew some fresh for me but it would be 5 minutes and they would bring it out to my car. 5 minutes later there's the nice man with a big old steaming cup of coffee and it's the best thing about this night so five stars. read more

This week, my trip there I experienced a first.... after waiting quite a while in the drive-thru lane, I finally reach the order screen. I'm asked what I would like to order and right in the middle of my order, while speaking, I realize after the fact, I had been cut off and just left hanging while the employee apparently took the other drive-thru order. Of course, at the time, I did not realize I had been cut off and continued to order and ask a question. "Hello? Hello?" She returns to me and makes me repeat everything again. So I forgot to take a picture of how awful my meal was, customer service was wonderful but the order was all wrong. We ordered the Hawks pack, which consisted of 2 Big Mac's or 2 Quarter Pounders, 3 mozzarella sticks, 2 medium fries, and 20 nuggets. Then separately we ordered a Big Mac meal with extra sauce. We ordered Quarter Plunders as the meals, but we got 1 quarter pounded and 2 big Macs, fries we're cold, no sauce, and 2 sticks. Glad I was eating salads today, like most people my family decided to eat what was available and not call or complain about the order mess up. Coming from someone who worked in a McDonald's for 2 years... Every time I get sweet tea from this place, I get it half cut (half sweet, half unsweet) and I get sick EVERY. TIME. This place is poorly run, the crew members are always messing around and food orders take awhile. The managers don't seem to ever care either. I work just a little ways away and I've never had a problem here. If you say the food sucks, well, it's a mcdonalds. What do you expect. The food has always been just fine for me, hot and good, and that's saying something considering I always get it to go and wait to eat it until I walk home. Inside, the staff seems like they have fun. My food has never taken a long time to come out, and I use a lot of coupons there and if one doesn't work, they're always kind enough to promo my food. Also, my food has never come out poorly made. It doesn't look exactly like every mcdonalds advertisement, but they never do. I'm just glad it wasn't slapped together like most fast food places do. Also, I don't believe the thing about the hairnet in the soda. Slightly below average McDonalds experience. Slightly below average everything. Once I saw a manager counting every single ketchup packet by hand in the lobby. It seemed a bit unsanitary. And twice (not joking) I saw the men's bathroom overflow into the lobby with fecal water. I am shocked they didn't close down temporarily those two times. 90% (also not joking) of the employees are Filipino where as less than 15% of Silverdale is Filipino. I've been going to this McDonalds since I was a baby, don't remember it then haha but I love the staff that works here. I work directly behind them at Verizon and go there for lunch sometimes and Grace is always so helpful. If I have to wait longer, she offers me a free drink. If something was messed up on an order, they'll offer me a free Softserve. Very quick and helpful. The manager is awesome too. read more

Stop at this store every single day and most likely pay their rent. Have a serious question. Why do they always have their most idiotic employees working at the cashier?
