This is probably the best McDonalds I visit. Always clean. Staff is super friendly. Service is quick. It's McDonalds: the food is the same but here the fries are hot, the Diet Coke is crisp and the ice cream machine was working. Amen to the staff! read more

McDonald's employees in Smithfield, Va....wow...just wow....I've been here 2x this week and the people working at this location are the most happiest people. The first time the guy in the drive thru was just the most politest thing ever. The second day I came the girl said "Hi Beautiful" when she handed me my order. I mean, to say it made my day...is an understatement. Sometimes it's the little things. I wish I had gotten her name. I just love when people are so happy and they spread it to other people that may not be having a great day because happiness is contagious and it can turn a bad day better! And btw, I always order on the app and I always have a complicated order (when I do order, Which isn't often) but it was correct and perfect both visits! Thank you McDonalds in Smithfield, VA. There's a young white boy who works the 2nd window in the afternoon. He is the most disrespectful & immature worker I have encountered here. I had zero interest in flirting with him as he tried one too many times on several occasions. Today, he saw me at the window and began his unnecessary banter. Tonight November 16th at 6pm I went through the drive through. It took them FOREVER to take my order, and I don't mean I waited for them to come to the mic. She kept asking questions then would take forever to respond then would ask me the same question again. The lane furtherest from the building. The one closest to the building people were being taken quick. After finally getting my order I went to the window both girls were not friendly at all. ( I used to work fast food so I make sure to always be extremely nice because I know how people can be, so no it wasn't because I had an attitude at any point during this) I got a 10 ct nugget and 2 McDouble 5$ meal deals. I'm missing 1 of the nuggets to the meal deals and the burgers were supposed to be only cheese they had everything on them. The girl on the headset continued to say "is that it, is that it, is that it" um y'all (the managers) need to teach them how to communicate through headset and what's acceptable and what's not. That "is that it, is that it" is so extremely annoying and rude. This generation of people who work suck period. I get working fast food, grocery, or really any job working with the public isn't fun. But you are working there for money, so do that. Go to your job, do it efficiently and go home. No need to be rude, or have the attitude of not wanting to be there. If that's the case then please do us all a favor and leave. Someone who is willing to do the job great should have the job not these people who have the idgaf attitude. I was in a rush to get home from a late shift and stopped by the Smithfield McDonalds. I ordered a couple of cheeseburgers a large fry and a large Coke. I get my order and like a dummy i don't check my order. I get home and open the bag and pull out my frys and then my burgers. My frys are half cook and oily my burgers are burgerless. I love it! The new kiosks make it great and efficient when it comes to ordering simply click then take the ticket to the counter or swipe your card. Loads of customizable menu items I got a quarter pounder with cheese and bacon and it was cooked to perfection the employees were fast when giving out good and were very nice 10/10 would come back read more

It's a Mcdonalds.. I have good days here and bad days. My bad days include being ignored at the drive thru and having to drive away. I have yet to receive the wrong food, though! My good days include awesome workers waiting to fill my fry container until after the new fries drop without being requested. I don't mind waiting an extra minute or two for hot fresh fries when I come here. It's a double line drive thru which can be confusing during rush hour because people don't get the concept of how the line moves. The inside is updated and there are tons of flat screen TVs throughout. The ketchup squirter? sprayer? nozzle? is usually always out so you'll have to ask for packets and they don't keep unsweet tea by the drink machines, it is behind the counter. Overall, meh. It is McDonalds in the middle of what used to be Nowhereville and it stays popular. Some days are good and some days are bad. read more

for starters, the service is completely horrid, i asked to speak to the manager, and the cashier looked me dead in the face, said "whatchu say", i repeated and she said no THEN LAUGHED ABOUT IT! i finally got to the manager and she wasn't even paying attention. moral of the story mcdonald's employees have no good customer service at all. read more

i ordered a double quarter pounder with bacon and cheese meal and i bite in the burger and its not done and i sent it back and the get a better one and yes that was not done and they only gave me one piece of meat and it was not done , the food was very very nasty........... the fries were very hot that was the only thing that was good... i will not be back.........sorry food wont be back! read more

Very dissatisfied, my family and I were on vacation and went to this Mcdonald's to grab breakfast. The woman taking our order through the drive through acted as if we were a waste of her time, I had a coupon and when I asked if I could use the coupon she said " All I can do is try" in a very rude way. Then once we went to the 2nd window to get the food the woman basically throws our order at us and didn't give us our second order until we sat there and waited, wanted mayo on my biscuit and it didn't come with it on there.
