Went to order 2 Mcflurries for my spouse and I and waited in the drive thru line for 15 mins just for someone to finally answer and tell us the machine is down. They had one customer inside ordering they should have not taken 15 mins to answer us on the drive thru line. And their ice cream machine is always down it is ridiculous. The fries were hot!! We order 2 Big Mac combo specials for $8 each. We now know why they cost $8 each. The burgers look like maybe 1/2 ounce patties, seriously. It's about the size of a small sausage patty. The service was fast for lunch. We did get a medium fry and drink. But this sandwich was loaded with lettuce and sauce. Where's the Beef!!! I ordered the big breakfast with hotcakes. When I got all the way back home I realized I was missing the hotcakes and the hash brown. I drove all the way back to McDonalds to get what I ordered. I explained to three different people what I was missing. When I was given another bag I looked inside and it contained hotcakes but no hash brown. First time here & I almost didn't come because of the reviews. I was waiting on someone to meet me in the area & I was starving, so I gave it a try. The drive thru was super slow!! I let that go when I finally got my food because it was piping hot & the service was pretty good. It's located very close to the interstate & it s next to a small Shopping center as well as other fast food restaurants. Outside of the slow drive thru, there were no other complaints. Let's start with the service. I ordered off the Kiosk using some of my reward points from the McDonald's app to redeem a free Frappuccino, but after the order was put in, the worker at the register rudely informed me that they could not make any frozen drinks. I asked her to replace it with a large coffee, although it's not worth all the points I spent. Then I continued to wait over 20 minutes until I went up to the counter, and the employee asked me what I was waiting for. I told her I had still not received my coffee, and then she said, "Ain't nobody got you that yet?" And then proceeded to take another 10 minutes to make it. Meanwhile, I had received my cheeseburger and chicken nuggets. The patties on the cheeseburger were very dry, and the cheese was not melted at all. The patties tasted off and left a sour taste by my mouth. I never had McDonald's that didn't TASTE like McDonald's. I visited with two friends, and the one received a Big MAC with NO patty. See the picture below. While I was waiting for my coffee, he came up the counter with his burgerless big mac, and the woman took it to add a patty. The worker turned around and showed the girl assmebling the burgers the empty bun, and then she busted out laughing at her own mistake. I then stood there watching the same girl look for a bottom bun for someone's sandwich that she was assembling for 5 minutes. In the end, my friends sandwich and my coffee situation were both fixed, but I could not even bring myself to eat half of my horrible tasting burger. I understand this is a fast food restaurant, but I go to McDonald's quite often, and I have NEVER seen one in this bad condition. I recommend the clarksville location instead. read more

The service sucks. I ordered a $5 biggie bag (comes with a burger, fries, and nuggets) and I didn't even get the burger. I got 2 nuggets instead of 4. Keep in mind I ordered this through the drive through and the lady threw the bag at me with random sauces in the bag I didn't ask for and my fries and nuggets weren't in their container. So I proceeded to go in and the inside was terrible. I slipped on the floor due to grease or smth or poorly cleaned floors. I ordered ranch that it gave me the option to get with my nuggets and they tried to charge me 2 dollars for one!!! I then get cheeseburgers but they decided to not put cheese on it instead extra pickles. I then paid for two large fries and got two small fries. I never recommend this dump to anyone. read more

I ordered through the app and the store couldn't fulfill my order or refund money. While talking to manager about it, she ignored me in the middle of the conversation and started talking to her staff about something they needed. I did yell because it was rude, but then a man from behind the grill came out cursing at me, which only escalated the situation. The staff had to physically restrain him as of he was going to assault me. The only reason I keep giving McDonald's another chance is because of my kids, but after this fiasco, I refuse to give them another cent. read more

Go to this restaurant in south hill va. Each time whether drive thru or dining in for Breakast, there is this young man who is always has the BEST customer I have ever seen. Justin Reginal makes that place. He handles all given to him fast, smart, efficient and beams with personality and the customers seem to respect and appreciate him. Promote this young man, seriously. Don't even attempt. This place is horrible. They could not get one order right out of the 6 orders in front of me. Literally every person had to come back up or review bag and ask for a missed item. The staff was either shrug shoulders and get whatever was missing or the manager argued about the order. I used a code and they said it didn't take, this was after my order was given and I picked up. I told them what it was for and they wanted to say I would need to have the code again. I told them that the deal was no longer available because I just used it. I showed the manager the message and she just looked at me like I was wrong. Seriously avoid avoid avoid. And you know what, don't give the excuses COVID this is a systemic issue of lazy, I don't care and lack of management to encourage and engage staff to be proud of doing or wanting to do a good job. read more

Went inside the restaurant and get a mobile order. No food came into the dining room for at least 15 minutes but I counted 20 orders going out for the drive-thru. When I finally went up to inquire about my order they realize they had overlooked it and were surprised but quickly put it together but when I get my two cheeseburgers in my fries they were all cold. It is not that they don't have the people there are plenty of people working but there was no organization there was no leadership present that I could tell. read more

To my disgust I can now say I have found the WORST McDonalds in Virginia. We waited 30 minutes for our food while employees screamed out of the drive thru window at customers. The "manager" yelled at the cook after our order was wrong the 1st time, and said I'm not redoing orders if you cant get the order right at the register, then he realized "he" took our order. When we finally left (vowing never to go back) we got 30min down the road and realized our hamburgers were RAW. Bloody, RED, RAW. The fries were cold and unsalted, the entire meal was inedible. I have pictures I can provide. Fortunately after biting into the burger before realizing the issue, neither of us became ill. Fortunately for this store I was already too far out of town to turn around and go back! Serving food to the public is serious business, McDonalds cannot allow this reckless behavior, bad attitudes, and unhealthy conditions. The woman inside yelled at my dad and there was a woman who was walking back inside who passed the car I was sitting in and cursed saying " this motherf*cker walked past the sign and walked in." lol the morning crew are miserable they will have you waiting 10 minutes just to tell you, "we are closed" but that's if you're lucky they respond that day....on a good day they're open in the morning...but makes no sense being closed at 6:30-7 in the morning. Counter service & cooking crew can be sometimes disorganized causing waits for even the simplest of items so don't be surprised if you see a cluster of folks standing around with a somewhat lost look on their faces. There doesn't seem to be any type of actual system other than give your order, pay and then step aside / back and wait. I'm not a regular here though so perhaps I've just hit them at a bad time the few times I've stopped by on my road trips. Restrooms are clean though and the fries are usually nice and hot so its an OK McDonalds in my book. read more

This store is very old and hospitality is lacking something fierce. Stop at the mcdonalds in North Carolina in Henderson or Oxford. The service is so much better. The one in Oxford was just rebuilt in 2012. read more

Mrs Moore who was working your 1st pick up window this evening at 7:20 is an extremely rude employee with no customer service skills. A shame. Opened the window without saying a word, ignoring my "hi how are you?!" And just pushing the drink almost entirely inside my window in my face. I said "is this Coca Cola?" She looked me in my face and ignored me and shut the window. A few moments later when she angrily swung open the window and handed me my food i said "thanks! I need-" and she closed the window and walked away. This isn't the first negative experience I've had with this woman. I never got my straw or napkins and my burger I ordered with no onion DOES have onions on it. Hopefully something changes and they find some people who value their jobs and take pride in their work!
