Mrs. K. has been craving a simple fish sandwich and this was where we stopped to fill up with gas at the Love's, it was an easy choice. After the top off of fuel, we popped in here and took a seat. I ordered on the McDonald's app and selected table service. About ten minutes later, my name was shouted. Yes, I had to go and pick it up. Aside from slow service (well, maybe because the fish was fresh?), that was a ding to start. But the Filet-O-Fish sandwich was excellent. The fries were underdone. The iced tea was nearly all ice. And my snack wrap was a mess with shredded cheese outside the wrap and the sauce in one spot rather than spread along the chicken strip. Oh, and I had to go back up to the counter and wait for a crewmember to notice me as there were no napkins in the bag. The dining room was clean and the soda station was stocked. The kiosk isn't user friendly and there's no one to take cash at the register so I had no choice but to uae it. Waited 30 minutes for an order of nuggets and a fish sandwich... rhey called everyone that came I after us and only when I asked where my order was, I found out it was in the back and someone would bring it out. If you're unfortunate to stop here, get your order to go. Horrible service. Rude and disrespectful employees. No one was at the register for 15 mins straight and then when they walk out from the back they don't even speak to you. They stay in the back, laughing and playing on their phones. We ordered a McFlurry and the Big Arch burger and it took 30 mins to receive our order. The McFlurry was spilling out of the cup and the burger patty was dry and stale tasting. The floors were dirty, the drink machine has very limited options, the ice machine sometimes doesn't work, sometimes there's no lids for drinks. I ordered the big breakfast with hotcakes. When I got all the way back home I realized I was missing the hotcakes and the hash brown. I drove all the way back to McDonalds to get what I ordered. I explained to three different people what I was missing. When I was given another bag I looked inside and it contained hotcakes but no hash brown. Definitely not a place to stop if you wanting a Fish O'Filet or Big Mac. I recommend driving to another McDonald's instead of bothering with stopping at this location. I literally don't even know where to start. I'm just going to number it off. All of this was noticed after we placed our order using the app. 1) The floor was sticky with remnants of bacon, egg and cheese biscuits on the floor. What makes it so bad is somebody was actually mopping. 2) Our order was made incorrectly and with lack of accuracy. We went back into the location to get the order corrected. 3) The inside area was not up to par. I'm not sure how people chose to sit at dirty tables to eat McNuggets. The only good thing about this place is a young gentleman that went above and beyond to personally correct our order. Shout out to him! I really wish I got his name. One thing about this McDonalds, they are consistent. Consistently terrible. I stop here several times a month for business, always giving them the benefit of the doubt. And it never improves. Customer service is terrible. No sense of urgency. Food is never right. This time my unsweet iced tea tasted rancid. As if they never cleaned the carafe and it's been sitting there for days. the service is horrible. the employees do not look at you when they pass your order. I entered the restaurant and paid for my lunch at 12:24pm and didn't receive my order until 1:16pm. This was a great McDonald's in a Love's Truck Stop that we stopped at very late one night during our 15 hour drive straight through down South. We don't eat at McDonald's very often, but on this particular night, we went all out and a got a bunch of stuff, from nuggets to fries, burgers and milkshakes, and we devoured it all. Cold fries, half warm Big Mac sandwich with too much lettuce, small patties that couldn't be seen, slow cooking of my order which included chicken McNuggets but the chicken nuggets were hot, less than par dips for the nuggets....tasted cheap, a chlorine taste removal filter is needed for the fountain drinks...tasted like chlorinated river water...excellent friendly service was a plus.
