My family and I are DONE with this McDonald's location. They have messed up our orders (minor things) in the past, but today takes the cake. Today, there were 3 meals in our order...two were incorrect and they completely forgot to put one in the bag altogether. The receipt reflects what we ordered, but not what we received. I attempted to call the McDonald's and speak to a manager multiple times. The staff refused to put the manager on the line and then stopped answering the phone. What's worse, the order they forgot was for me, a Type 1 Diabetic whose blood sugar was on the edge of low, so I had to scrounge up snacks around the house instead of eating a meal. Thanks for that! I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company, especially since I am being ignored by a manager. We paid for food and didn't receive it. My tour group stopped here on the way to NY. Very interesting/unusual Mcdonalds, in that its in a shopping plaza, but not on a pad site, but in the actual out leigh of the plaza and without a drive through. Other than a Mcdonalds at a highway reststop I had never seen one before without a drive up. Been here a couple times with the tour groups and both times the food was done fast and people were friendly. No complaints. read more

Located off the exit 15, in a strip mall, the McDonald's is clean, the bathrooms are messy, and the front is busy with travelers passing by. I wanted a large iced tea, unsweetened, and they gave me a medium cup to start, then a large after I asked, and the tea was out. They brought a new one out which was sweetened despite the unsweetened sign in it.. sigh. I've been at better served locations. read more

Foods is OK, My biggest gripe is they consistently YELL out your number even though everyone is standing RIGHT there. Even if you are a micro second grabbing your bag they YELL even louder. You know, I only go to McDonalds in situations of absolute necessity -- let alone think twice of writing a review for one, but this experience was top notch for what fast food is! We came right at 10:25, five minutes before they switched over to the lunch menu so we just waited. After placing our order to dine in, we got our food maybe ten mins after which was fine since they were switching from breakfast to lunch. One of the workers rolled our tray out in a cart and presented us with our food that was very nicely plated. Seriously, whoever was in charge of that really put in some effort. The lady then greeted us nicely and offered even more sauces than what we placed. I don't go to fast food often, but did not have the best memories of it when I did. This place definitely has quality at its highest priority! Even the food tasted as fresh as fast food gets, fries were crispy, etc. Overall, happy we stopped by! read more

I stopped in here on my way back home from a weekend in New England. I was a quick stop for a pit stop and a coffee but I would end up with a breakfast sandwich too. The sandwich and coffee I would rate a two on the fast food scale but I rate them a four based on decor/ambiance and restroom and dining room cleanliness. Net is three stars. It is not a stand alone place and therefore does not stand out in the shopping plaza. It's sandwiched (ha ha) between two storefronts like TJ Maxx. No big Golden Arches here. I have ate here twice now and the first time the AC was out. The second their was a new girl trying to figure out how to run the till and no one helping her. I then asked the manager for some picante sauce, I like it for the breakfast sandwiches, and every time I ask for it by name I get a double look like "what are talking about????" Drove to Southbury, CT tonight to try McDonalds new limited time only Lobster Roll. It's only offered from Southbury, CT and east up to Boston (so I'm told). We thought it was VERY overpriced for what we received. Even Stew Leonards offers cheaper lobster rolls. Lobster roll alone came to $8.50 with tax. As a meal about $11.30 with tax. Both are estimates. Lobster looked like it was literally dumped out of a bowl, and on to a roll. With a large piece of claw meat on the top of each roll. I understand they must have it prepackaged but at least maybe spread it out in the roll a little. The taste was pretty good, but it was a shame how poorly it looked and made it less appetizing. Would I buy it again? Not likely. read more

If I could leave a half star, I would.. you can order via Kiosk, up at the front, problem is processing the orders and congestion of people waiting over 10 minutes for food. Our food sat there over 15 minutes, was waiting for an ice coffee... never showed up, when we asked where the rest of our meal was, I'm assuming the manager or assistant manager said she's been calling our number multiple times, despite the fact I was standing there along with my husband. It's not very often that I review fast food, but I think this McDonalds deserves a good review. It is the only McDonalds that I've ever seen that deserves a 4 star rating. I won't get too much into the food because you know what to expect, but what I can say is that it seems like this one provides better portions and fresher food than most. The service is good for fast food standards, I still have yet to get a wrong order in the 7 years that I have lived in the area.... which is exceptional since at most other Mcdonalds getting your order wrong is a once every three time occasion. My biggest complaint is that the setup of the interior is kind of "clustered" almost like a maze. It's not wide opened or large enough. So there you have it people, the only 4 star McDonalds I've ever been to. read more

My 5 year old son is asking questions about the loud boss lady as she yells at customers to use the kiosk. There is no one in line, yet they force the kiosk on you which takes twice as long. Great food, pleasant staff, clean tables, floors, bathroom. My only complaint is how hard it was to find the restaurant. There was a sign on the interstate indicating a McDs off the exit, and there was a directional sign at the end of the ramp. I saw no additional signage. This is probably the worst McDonald's I have ever been to in my entire life! We arrived at approximately 8 PM with four people. We were driving through the drive-through with two hungry gymnasts and two tired adults! We ordered two burgers and a big breakfast and they made us wait to the side, along with 3 other vehicles, to wait for our food. They then said they didn't have eggs for the big breakfast so we asked if we could get an extra hash brown and they said they couldn't do that. After all that we ended up getting an egg in the big breakfast anyway!
