I met my brother for lunch today and we LOVED our visit. Nothing fancy here, no goat cheese or duck fat or boba tea in sight. Just good old-fashioned chow like burgers, dogs, fries, rings, chili, sandwiches, wings and fried food. Not a salad or vegetable in sight except for the hash brown potatoes and the lettuce and tomato slices on a few sandwiches. I ordered a Red-Hot dog ($3.99), Onion Rings ($3.25), and a can of soda for under $10. How was it? Man, it was freaking great! I asked for ketchup and diced onions on the dog, and it came out perfectly - a big spicy link on a soft roll with plenty of flavor. And those onion rings were golden brown and excellent. My brother went for a burger and fries, and his food looked just as good -a big burger on a kaiser roll with gorgeous tomato slices, and some of the most perfectly cooked fries I've seen in a long time. We grabbed a table for two in the small dining room and watched the steady parade of take-out customers walk in and leave with their paper bag prize of food. The young lady who took our order, and the gent on the grille were friendly and super-efficient and professional. Bottom line is this -My bargain priced lunch was made fresh in front of my eyes, and the portion size was generous, piping hot and delicious. PRO TIP This is cash only, so don't expect to use your credit card here. There is an ATM in the back of the dining room. read more

Valley Burger Shack was one of those places that you drive past all the time and wonder if it's good, but you seem to never have a good opportunity to stop. Well, we finally had a chance to go and we're so happy that we checked it out! The burger was fresh, and the popcorn chicken and mozzarella sticks were great as well. Their menu has a great variety of all your favorite comfort foods. We thought their prices were very reasonable too. The owner was working behind the counter, and he was so friendly and made an effort to provide us with quick service. We stopped by as we were in the area for an event. The Yelp ratings brought us in...had some solid pizza options in the area....but went with burgers. Arrived and no cars in the lot and not really sure where to park. Parked near dumpsters...when we walked in we were greeted promptly....we made our order. 2 double cheeseburgers one double cheeseburger fries two orders of onion rings and mozz sticks. $40 bucks. Good value. Burger was good...buns are different and bottom bun was soaked in grease by the end. Almost tasted like a Whopper. Rings were good...fries and mozz sticks were ok...thought it would be better with the reviews it had online. So I decided to try this because it's local and who doesn't like a good hot dog joint... Welp it was a disappointment for sure. So before I go I check it the website and FB page and I notice there's no list of hit dog toppings.. I can guess them from the photos, but I don't wanna guess, plus if your boasting all the five stars you must have a signature glizzy toppin! I go in I order 2 dogs and ask For the list of Toppings and the guy tells Me " we are them all, anything you can think of." So now I feel Jerked around so I ask, do you have a special relish or a hot sauce? Amd he says, no we don't have any hot sauce!! Now cmon, you're a hot dog and burger joint and your don't have any hot sauce?? Do better man!! So then I ask the guy again, how anole you tell me the list instead of Me guessing../ So he reads off his basic list: must, ketchup, relish and onion... i order 2 of those and they make them fresh to order, they roll Them On the flattop for a couple minutes and I get a dog w a nice hot toasted bun and a coke freaking dog.. now I'm like FFS this is how you do it ? Found this place off Yelp when I was craving a good burger. Valley burger shack didn't disappoint. The burgers were flame grilled right in front of me along with the hot dogs. Ordered a chicken sandwich for the road and that also was top notch. On top of it the crew behind the counter was on the ball and were polite and friendly.
