While I will say getting a job here is almost impossible because I went in for a job interview only for the manager not to be there, as a customer stand point I loved this place as a kid and as a adult, I wouldn't change much but I wish the big play place is back for the kids, I can't say much about the ambience only because I miss the older McDonald's design but it is clean and not chaotic, and as for the food not everyone may not like McDonald's food but their fries are usually hot and the orange dream drink is really refreshing and sweet. So the cappuccino machine is NEVER working so just forget getting anything it makes. Cold, old fries aside, let's say you order a sausage biscuit, for example, you're lucky if you get all the components that make up a sausage biscuit. Sometimes the sausage is missing. Sometimes it's the biscuit that's missing (seriously folks, it's actually happened more than I care to angrily discuss), but nine times out of ten, something is missing. Same goes for burgers or chicken sandwiches. Your safest bet ("safest", not guaranteed) to receive everything you've ordered, the way you ordered, is going with Nuggies w/no sauces, or apple pies. Those are pretty much foolproof. Even then you might get a burger instead. It's basically, "We're gonna give you what WE want to give you" coupled with "you get what you get & you don't throw a fit" type service. If by some freak chance you get ALL your order correctly, and in one trip, go get a lottery ticket too because it's your lucky day!!! The employees just have a feeling that they don't want to be there and I understand and get that, but when I order a happy meal and hamburgers the bag of my food is hardly rapped and thrown in and I don't get the happy meal I paid for and was not given a receipt I'm not happy ... this McDonald's continually has issues completing orders correctly and I get it's "not a 5 star restaurant" as a employee put on here but at least do what I pay for to get my 5 Yelp stars . read more

They've remodeled this location and it looks gorgeous. Very modern. They have added the ordering devices inside of the store and it helps with the congestion of the line. We always stop here on our way home to eastern KY. Our toddler has always enjoyed their playplace but it is now smaller than any indoor playplace I have ever seen. They got our order wrong, restaurant could be cleaner. But you know what? They gave us the missing items FOR FREE and they have done nothing but treat us with the love and respect necessary to fix their mistakes. If you're looking for them to make your order exactly to your specifications then you might be disappointed, but we gave them the opportunity to correct their mistakes and they did that with smiles on their faces. I'm currently on a drive across the state and went around the drive-thru to simply order coffee. One large, black coffee is all I ordered. Upon receiving the coffee, I noticed it did not feel warm to the touch. The coffee is barely room temperature and tastes like water. McDonald's is usually my go-to for quick coffee, but this McDonald's is clearly the exception. I know the employee had to know this coffee was old and cold while pouring it. Very poor service received yesterday. I had to wait twenty minutes never did get my food. I went up to the counter they were doing drive thru only. I had to ask for my food and still had to wait five minutes or longer. Staff was not friendly and didn't apologize for my wait. read more

This place is awful! The food is never fresh, the people are rude, and they never get an order right. Especially night shift. Don't go here, any other McDonald's in Kentucky would be better. We even got charged for Big Macs we didn't order, and by the time we noticed in our bank account how much was charged, it was too late. (Hours later) We then checked our receipt and sure enough there was an order for 2 Big Macs that we didn't ask for OR receive. There was no way to prove it since it had already been a few hours. Another time my husband ordered fries, a smoothie, and a large frappe. Not only did he get old fries that were cold and soggy, but they gave him a small frappe and a strawberry milkshake instead of a smoothie. He politely told them the problem and they were rude to him and fixed the frappe but not the smoothie. Then he asked for some salt packets and the woman at the window just told him NO.
