This is a super cute store and the ice cream is very good quality. It's just store bought ice cream - I wish they offered locally made hand crafted options like crank and boom or graters. Would be nice instead of just basic brands. The cost is $5.85 for a two scoop cup or $7.85 for a waffle cone. I watched two people in front of me get the two scoop cup and the attendant filled it FULL - then when she scooped mine it looked like half the size of the people in front of me. I checked and asked them what they ordered because I thought I ordered a smaller size when compared but we all ordered the same thing. Oh well. When you scan the photos in the other reviews - you'll see the two scoop cup well over the top. Mine was just level with the top and the more I see these photos the more cheated I'm feeling. We visited Slade for some hiking and this place became a staple every night. I tried peach, a Cookie Monster shake, & Superman, and they were all fantastic. I literally forgot to take pictures because I was too busy eating it! The whole group enjoyed going through the cute pottery area and we bought a bud vase to take home! Stop in later at night at your own risk- we got there 15 mins before they closed one night and they only had 5 flavors left. read more

Quaint shop, super friendly staff. We stayed nearby and had both coffee and ice cream multiple days. Five stars for overall product quality and service. The ice cream was very good with different flavors day to day. Prices were a high (4 star). Coffee was very good, nice variety. "Pastries" were mixed reviews. The sour cream donut was similar to a grocery store box. (3 star) Apple fritter was a little greasy and not fresh (2 star). The cinnamon streusel muffin was outstanding and filled with some kind of caramel - highly recommend (5 star.) We would recommend stopping if in the area. read more

Off the beaten path we go. While driving to get firewood, we saw this little shop and decided to stop in and check it out. i am so glad that we did. we were greeted by the nicest girl who was extremely helpful with our first time. they had a great coffee menu and different selections to help any coffee drinker. i ordered an iced latte with almond milk and caramel. it was so delicious and one of the best that i've had from a smaller mom and pop owned shop they had an entire ice cream counter with so many different flavors and even vegan options which was extremely inclusive and nice to see. there was a room with t shirts and ceramics that were handmade for not terrible prices. the girl said everything was made offsite and brought to restock weekly and that there's always different things. we definitely are going to stop here again when we are in town! check it out if you are in the area! read more

Loved this place! My boyfriend and I visited here during our trip to red river gorge. Parking easy, and interior was cozy, clean, and cute! Workers were friendly. I appreciate how they offered multiple dairy free flavors! Portions were also very generous for a good price. A small has two scoops so I chose a scoop of vegan chocolate and one of vegan cookie butter. Both flavors were delicious! My boyfriend really liked his strawberry and peach flavors too! It was a very cute coffee/ice cream place. Love the atmosphere. They also have pottery classes and there was a wide range of pottery throughout the building. The ice cream was totally amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They even had vegan ice cream. My wife has a dairy allergy, and she was excited to see a small country shop having an option that she could have. After a long day of hiking, this was just what I needed! They had a variety of both classic and unique ice cream flavors to choose from. I chose a bananas foster and it was AMAZING. We were in the area and heading back to our campsite from a hike. We passed it on the way into the park and decided to check it out on the way back. This seems to be a new coffee shop + ice cream shop. They had lots of pastries, ice cream flavors, and drink options - which were perfect to warm us up and get a nice treat after hiking in the Red River Gorge area. A friend got the coffee ice cream with espresso (affogato). The ice cream was very tasty and the espresso was even tastier. All of the ice cream flavors looked tasty as did the pastries (muffins, cheesecake, etc.) I ended up purchasing a local potter's dish from Turtle Farm Pottery. I came out with a dish that can be used for a variety of things, but they had mugs, cups, whiskey dishes, plates, and lots more. Fairly priced for what you get and how beautiful the painting/colors came out too! In terms of accessibility, this place is not it. There are quite a few stairs to get into the business, unfortunately. I would highly recommend stopping in the area. It looked closed but was definitely open! read more

Such a great spot to get some coffee, which was the best iced coffee I ever had! They have a good selection of syrups to add to your drink. The building is so neat, and I believe they were turning the upstairs into an Airbnb. That would be an awesome place to stay!
