So let me say I am a huge McDonald's fan it's my go-to for fast food especially if craving nuggets. I recently stopped by this particular location as it was close by and I wanted to get a Shamrock shake before they were gone. Big mistake. The cashier could not get my order right I told her 3 times I wanted 2 shamrock shakes and a vanilla cone for my niece. She rung me up for 2 McFlurry then made them completely wrong. She gave my niece her cone which was great but then started making my shamrock shake by making an oreo mint McFlurry. She realized that she was doing it wrong so placed the McFlurry into a vanilla shale mixed it and handed it to me. I asked her to redo it and she refused. Then I ask for whip cream and she told me they had none. I asked to speak to a manager and waited but no one came to speak to me. I left upset and without my shamrock shake. they need to train all there cashier on customer service and on how to make their menu items. read more

Very efficient service at this busy McDonald's located in the pass-thru city of Starke. Clean and updated with friendly service as we usually come here for breakfast on our way the Gainesville. The coffee is always fresh and for about $15, breakfast for three is definitely doable. An added bonus is that they don't charge you extra for sweet and sour sauce. I dip my hash browns and bacon, egg and cheese McMuffin in it. It's good. :) read more

During our morning, rush to go to work one can expect to stop in in a timely manner and pick up a cup of coffee and a bite to eat. Well, this didn't happen because I sat there for seven minutes waiting to order. If the service is that slow, I may as well stop somewhere else to make up time. Great customer service. Staff very kind and smiles on their faces. But then they get my coffee with milk order incorrect. Forgot to add the milk. Oh well. Other things in life to worry about. Clean, bright, ample parking, we just stopped in hoping for a quick burger and back on our way. The burger didn't happen quick....had to repeat our simple order three times and the staff was NOT a ball of fire. Despite being the "lunch hour", they seemed more interested in socializing with each other. Probably the most shocking part was when the shift manager asked another customer if he wanted to wait while they redid his order because "she" accidentally dropped a burger....do you want to wait? I have stopped in this location late at night a few times on the trip from Gainesville to Jacksonville and found it to be terribly slow, with lots of cars in line & rarely hot or accurate! Today, I stopped in at 7:30 and no cars in line. It still took 10 minutes to get my food & it wasn't really all that hot and guess what, they got my order wrong! The last three times I've went to the drive thru they have not got my order correct. The last two times as I was paying I reiterated how I wanted the burger. They still got it wrong. Not blaming line workers, but management needs to do a better job. read more

No, thank you. I walked in to place an order and the employees completely ignored my existence. I waited patiently while they got the only other order in the establishment. No acknowledgement that I was standing at the counter waiting to order. After several minutes of standing there watching these workers chat with each other and customers who were obviously their friends, I left. I don't expect that much from a fast food joint-it's fast food. But acknowledging you have a customer and speaking to them, especially when you're the only person in line? For shame! I have never incision myself praising McDonald's! But this one worth it! Made a pit stop there not for food but place was fool of people,all eating burgers so i "caved in". Emplyees very welcoming,look like they love those jobs and everyone who walk in. Ordered widely advertised Bacon Smokehouse burger. It was soo good! Beginning with a bun- puffy , smooth, perfect brown color. Bacon very crispy, pretty big, juicy hamburger,all together -yamm! Be prepared to wait, this is a close second to wait time I have ever spent in a drive thru. 14 min to get the food. Why would you put a double order drive thru when they can't handle one? Fries were cold and limp, the only McDonalds worse is on I-95 at the ft Stewart exit. But it is not far from being that bad. With this just being off I 10 they need a A team able to run smoothly and handle the high volume of business! I avoid this place now wish they were better I love McDonald's every so often. read more

This place is HORRIBLE!!! Every time I go here I have to wait about 45 minutes in drive thru. Not once have they ever gotten my order correct. If I could give less than a one star I would. This is not the first time we've stopped here on our way through Florida. The ordering isn't easy with the computers. The food is extremely slow to appear. There is always a long line of people inside waiting for food. Place was so clean, even the restroom. They are retro but up to date, everything looked new. They had a cool little jukebox playing old tunes. The workers were helpful and friendly. While sitting there we overheard an employee saying they are remodeling it because everyone wants modern. My daughter and I thought how sad that will be.....it is perfect in style the way it is. They are scamming people on the 60 second guarantee for starts on there sign it says from 7am to 9am they where not giving out the minute glass timers I made metion of it and they said so what we have not started it yet today and I told them that it was 10 minutes after 7am and what it says on there sign. So it looks like they do that when they want and do not go by there own rules and to top it off they where busy this morning and it took them 3mintues to get my food out the window so I should of had a free sandwich. My husband and I stop every Tuesday on our way to Gainesville. The service is always spot on and it is probably one of the cleanest McDonald's we have been in. Every Tuesday, that we are there, someone is always cleaning the sidewalks and washing the windows at 6:30 am. Our summer home is in upstate New York and we have visited many McDonald's on the east coast. Keep up the good work...It shows! read more

Pulled into the drive through lane around 5:10 on December 26th. Sign says open at 5:00. After waiting for someone to talk to me on the speaker I said "hello?" After a couple more minutes a woman came on and took my order. Pulled to the first window and paid at 5:23 (per my receipt stamp). Pulled forward to the 2nd window for pickup and sat and sat and sat. At 5:30 the woman came to the window and removed the bar across the top so obviously I was the first drive through customer served that day (30 mins past opening time). She handed me my coffee and OJ and said "sorry it took so long" and I replied "Yeah". She then leaned over and rudely said "well we weren't ready yet" and then slammed the window shut before I could speak. I sat there another 5 minutes and she reopened the window and handed me my Egg McMuffin with no comment. I asked to see the manager and she rudely said "I'm one of the managers". I started to say "Well I don't appreciate you talking to me so rudely and slamming the window in my face..." and she interrupted and said loudly "it's the day after Christmas and we aren't ready yet" and slammed the window again in my face and walked away.
