I'm not saying Waffle House is 5-star dining, but evaluating it against my expectations and other similar options, this is a great spot for what it is...visiting a small town at 11 PM and it's this or fast food. Ayden and Haley were legit about helping us non-regulars navigate the menu and find something that worked for what we wanted. Very friendly and a good vibe overall in here. Definitely recommend over other 11 PM options you might find around here! read more

As far as Waffles House goes this was a good one. Food was great and the staff is friendly. Only complaint was the tables were dirty.

Since Waffle House opened its first location back on September 5, 1955 in Avondale Estates, Georgia, it quickly established itself by offering a consistent selection of food and by being open twenty-four hours a day. For me, the biggest appeal of Waffle House has always been their hash browns, which you can get basic or topped with a variety of toppings such as chili, white sausage gravy, cheese, ham, onions and so many more items and you can combine these toppings in a multitude of ways. For my main course, I have usually gone with their patty melts or one of their egg breakfast options. I myself can see the strangeness that I have never having a waffle and a business where waffle is in their very name, but I prefer a more savory breakfast than a sweet one. If you are in the southeast United States, odds are you have probably passed a Waffle House location. It seems that they are on almost every major highway exit ramp and strategically placed throughout most cities and towns in the southeast. If you see one, give them a try. read more

Unexcitingly great! Small in size great in flavor. They get it right. We were greeted immediately by Niquara with a welcoming and warm smile. She made us feel like family. We had a great experience yesterday morning getting a casual breakfast around 11am. We were greeted with a big smile when we walked in by Shina P who has waited on us before and is a splendid waitress. We only had to wait a couple of minutes for a table. Our waitress was Niquara S. She was so pleasant and gave us wonderful service. Our drinks were served and order taken right away. Not long after, our food was served. It arrived hot and it came out exactly as we ordered it. The manager Heather C. checked on us not too long after we got our food and made sure everything was good. I had a cheese omelet breakfast and it was cheesy and fluffy. I will definitely get that again. Our experience went so well that I wanted to leave this review to thank these ladies that gave us such a yummy breakfast and nice experience. 1st stop on our road trip and two hours in, we were excited to see a familiar sign like a beacon in the storm...no storm unless you count my growling tummy. We walked in and were immediately greeted and told to sit wherever. I made a beeline for the restroom which was very clean. Upon sitting we were again greeted by Ericka, our server and given menus to look over. The menu is pretty straightforward, waffles, of course, eggs, hashbrowns and toast as far as breakfast goes. Mom opted for a hashbrown bowl with bacon, egg and cheese country style (covered in gravy). While I chose a Texas toast bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. I forgot how fun it is to hear the server call out your order to the cook who is literally a few feet from you cooking up deliciously simple meals with skill and precision. Our plates were brought over quickly and everything tasted wonderful. We both took half with us to enjoy later as we continued down the highway and they were just as tasty an hour or so later! The food and coffee was solid, but the service was BEYOND. The people were amazing and the camaraderie among the staff was beautiful to watch. A seemingly tight little group. This place is a train wreck, been there a couple times now as it is right down from my girlfriends work. They have not gotten my order right once, today the waitress was wiping down dishes which still had food stuck on them and put it back up as clean. Went to go to the bathroom and there is no handle on the door just a hole where it should be. read more

I was welcomed when I walked in, service was very friendly, food was consistent with every other Waffle House, only a bit greasier. My order was made incorrectly; but, they quickly fixed that! My server got me refills by grabbing the top of my cup, forcing me to use a straw; something I rarely do. The manager was walking through cleaning tables between nose blowing. Great Food, Great Staff.... Poor Judgement OK so we go for nice Saturday breakfast and get a waffle with an eyebrow hair sticking out of the cooked waffle. Well, when we asked our server to give it to us as she tried to whisk it away, ( and after asking three times), she dumped it in the trash anyway. We were so shocked that we fished it out of the trash ourselves in order to take a picture. We we were not happy. That said, prior to that my eggs came wrong and they replace them with perfect eggs. Three people including the manager and chef asked me if my order was correct. They are VERY NICE staff and they really want you to have a positive dining experience. However, ignoring the request to have the waffle to photograph was not the way to go. They offered to give us a discount but I insisted on paying full price. I did not want a discount for good food that we had eaten. I simply wanted to have back the waffle so that I could photograph it for my yelp review. read more

Went there cause I was on a road trip with family so we popped in to stop and get food the service was ok but the food was not good a lady who was cooking the bacon got on the gloves and got bacon that was not rapped up or put on a platter then she did not remove those gloves and started cooking she grabbed plates with the bacon covered gloves on she cooked the food kept touching everything WITH the gloves on I would not recommend at all to stop here. read more

This Waffle House confuses me. I've been there and they've been on point and I've been there ans it's a cluster. Sometimes we bring our daughter and it never fails someone is doing dishes and slams the plates down where it's loud and obnoxious. They also have a few white girls working there that think they're black cause they sound like they're from the projects...not a big deal but annoying as all hell. Food is good.... They just need to take the 7-8 people working and assign stations or something to execute the rush better. Last time I was there all 8 were confused and it was slow. read more

Food was not bad, which is the only reason i left two stars. The owner was super nice and came by our table to make sure everything was ok, something our water Sydney could not do. She was obviously annoyed by us and took the longest to take our order. Taking care of the other tables there and ignoring ours. I just got back from there. The sweet tea was excellent. I ordered a patty melt on Texas toast. The server asked me if I wanted onions. I said yes. The place wasn't very crowded, but it seemed I waited a long time for a different server, or perhaps the cook, to bring me the food. Stopped here for breakfast on our way home to Michigan. Service was fast and friendly. Never been to this chain before, as they don't exist in our area (as far as I know). Very pleased with the food. This was my very first time eating at a waffle house. I am sadly disappointed in my first experience. The photo did not taste great I first ordered a lemonade which taste terrible so I returned it and got a sweet tea and that was bad as well. I ordered this breakfast combo where the server seems very fake the pancakes did not taste good at all my bacon was burnt and the eggs taste like they were cooked on an old dirty grill. Ally & Curtis made our evening fun. We had a 12 hour trip in a moving truck to move our relative to her new home. There was no time for dinner - at a reasonable hour. We arrived around 10:30pm-ish and ordered the following: T-bone steak X 2, scrambled eggs, eggs over medium, 2 orders of grits, hash browns, cinnamon raisin toast, and a waffle! On December 26th at 7:00pm I was so disappointed... Me and my family was sitting there and when our food got there my order was wrong. But no worries. I've worked as a waitress I know how it can be so I let that slide. Not even half way through the meal we get sprayed by nasty dish water. I had to move my four month old baby and her things out of the way. Our food got splashed so of course we are not going to eat it. When our waitress finally came to bring us our bill (the only time she came by) I let her know what happened, she didn't even look at me and said I'm sorry and handed us our bill. So we ended up paying for a meal we didn't even get to eat half of because it nasty water. Will never go back. read more

The waitress was friendly, and the food was hot and cooked as expected. They should just put the coffee pot on the table if you're not sitting right at the bar because the mugs are teeny... almost espresso sized! I don't eat anything but breakfast here, so I can't say how the other food is, but breakfast (eggs, grits, toast, and hashbrowns) is good and filling. We stopped at the Waffle House on our recent vacation as we seen many signs off 75. I'm not sure how all locations are but I'd never stop here again. The place is small which is fine as we do love "hole" in the wall type places. However, this place is dirty. We sat by the window which was full of dead bugs. The hostess looked at a piece of toast and kicked it under the booth. I don't even want to know what goes on behind the counter. The food was nasty. Sorry, I would never go there again. I left hungry as I was afraid to eat my meal but my kids were starving. read more
