I was at the emergency room at Piedmont Henry, Stockbridge. My children went to this McDonald's to pick up a meal for me. I hadn't eaten in 12 hours. I was extremely hungry. I received my food, took one bite and found that the meat in my burger was RAW! Not pink but RAW! Worst burger ever! The fries were cold, without salt and limp! No crisp at all! It's too bad you can't rate with a negative number of stars. Ordered 2 6 piece chicken nugget happy meals, 2 double quarter pounder meals and a cheeseburger meal. Got to the window, order was all messed up, had to order again, paid for the order, was handed a receipt that was of course, unreadable. Got to the pickup window, they handed me a bag stuffed with cheeseburgers. Said that wasn't my order. Got the happy meals, then 2 quarter pounders (not the doubles I ordered) and the cheeseburger meal. Again, I told them this was not correct, showed them my receipt. They kept arguing with me. After having sat in line for 30 minutes before making the order the first time, I had enough and simply said "I give up." Their response, "Your white, why do you care?" Really? Called the praise/complaint number on the receipt, left a message relaying my experience, provided my call back number if they wanted to discuss what happened. That was two days ago, no one called. So, they can't take orders twice, even when they read back correctly what you ordered. They refuse to admit they made a mistake and lastly, the racial slur is totally out of line. The worst McDonalds I've ever been to. I keep thinking it will get better but every single time I go there, only for convenience, something is wrong. It either takes 45 minutes to get through the drive through or the food is cold or old. The management just doesn't care and neither do the employees. On my last visit, I asked for 5 ketchup packets at the window and the girl looked at me as if I'd slapped her. She gave me the most hateful look I've ever received. DONT GET THE ICED COFFEE! I recently purchased an iced coffee from tis location. After drinking my coffee while working I noticed at the bottom was something black floating around with the half melted ice. To my horror it was A FLY! One of the big black ones you see around trash cans. The manager of the store didn't even come speak with me. The what looked to be the supervisor came and refunded me my money. This is THE worst McDonald's in the area. The employees are rude and hardly ever greet me. I usually go through the drive through and the majority of the time there is an issue with my food. This last time, I was handed my oatmeal through the window, no bag or anything. The oatmeal was dry and cold. How is the oatmeal cold??? Then we had two 10 piece meals with NO FRIES in the bag. This McDonalds is brand new, y'all. BRAND NEW. So naturally I have high expectations when I see this beautiful new state of the art building. It's on my way to work, it's on my way to the interstate, I'm like FINALLY I have a convenient McDonald's for me to stop and get coffee and breakfast at. But no. It's a hard no. This is actually the literal worst McDonald's of all time. I am embarrassed to admit that I have been here many times now. I keep thinking, "well, it's probably just growing pains. These people are so inept that they will not let you pick two different things from this menu for $3. Nope. You gotta get the same item twice. Why do I need two iced coffees and two biscuits for one person? I don't. And if you try to explain the problem to them, it's like they are completely incapable of comprehension. I thought this was a problem with just one or two employees but no it seems like they are all trained this way. Oh, and the wait time. Oh my lord. There is nothing fast about this food. I've been late to work because I was sitting in this line. Ten minutes seems to be the average time in the AM. And I've also waited over ten minutes to get a Coke at 11 PM. I give this location a (1) because, they deserve it. Reason being, I work late shifts at work & I live right across from this location & several nights I've stopped by to grab something to eat for my night-cap because of the convenience of the location to my home. But every single time I get home (it's like a 2 mins drive or less) and check the fries in the bag, eating a few of them, it's like they are hard as rocks & be tearing my gums up. This location has horrible customer service. I placed my order and had to wait for almost 10 minutes to receive my food. I checked the bag and the fries were cold. I noticed the cashier that the fries were cold and asked if they had any hot fries coming up. She said in about 2 minutes and I handed the fries back to her and she told me to keep them. A few seconds later another employee came out to my car and asked for the fries. I gave her the fries. She later came back out with a small fry stating that per her manager Diamond since we had ate half the fries she was only giving me a small. I asked to speak with her since she was talking to the young lady through a headset. She told me to come inside. I went in and Diamond was being very unprofessional by over talking an elderly customer about an incorrect she received through the drive through. When Diamond finished with that customer. I began to explain that her employee told me to keep the fries and that I should receive what I had paid for. She had a very nonchalant nasty attitude as if I was bother. She never once tried to remedy the situation. I asked who was the store manager and she replied look at the receipt and walked off. I asked for a refund and she stated where's the rest of the food. I went outside and returned the remaining order. She didn't even attempt to issue a refund. Another employee by the name of Terrell assisted processed my refund. I contacted John T. office to advise them of what type of employee he has running his establishment. First and last time patronizing this McDonald's! Well so far this particular McDonald's hasn't performed very well at all. I once went there late at night and ordered about three strawberry-banana smoothies and a vanilla milk shake. Two of the smoothies had BROKEN WHITE PLASTIC SHARDS IN THEM! One was my husband's and the other WAS MY GRANDDAUGHTER'S!!! THEY COULD HAVE BOTH CHOKED OR HAD THEIR INTERNAL ORGANS PUNCTURED!!! Thank God they both felt the plastic & spit it out!! I assume these small pieces of broken plastic MUST have been a part of a broken machine, since as far as I know the cups are stacked and it wasn't likely that the plastic got in there any other way. If they WERE parts of the smoothie machine, how could the person dispensing the smoothies NOT notice? I called and asked for a manager, but based on having called & complained a few times for various reasons, apparently they don't have REAL managers on the night shift. Once I explained to the person standing in for the manager, it was obvious that this was over his head & he told me I could come in the next morning when a REAL manager was there to discuss it. I never went because it was too inconvenient. I regret that now. Since this McDonald's is so convenient for me and open late, we went there tonight for a late night meal after the dining room was closed, so we went through the drive thru. Came through last night after a Halloween trail. Didn't expect too much, seeing as they are new, and most of the time new places have their kinks until the employees get used to the new place and learn how things need to be done. However, the manager running the drive thru was very nice. My bf loved the Southern Style Sandwich, and my Double Cheeseburger had beautifully melted cheese on it (unlike most where it's thrown together with thick and rubbery cheese). Nuggets were delicious! The fries were hot, and the drinks were very good and not watered down! Keep in mind, this was close to midnight, so we didn't expect much, but we were surprised!
