This is an update review from a late Summer visit. I have probably popped into this store heading out of town three to four times. Each visit has been 2.5, however it's been service not food that been negative. Parking area had debris. The location with traffic makes it almost impossible to make a left turn. Staff was not at the register to order. When they took there time to do so it was meh. McDonalds desperately wants you to use self checkout which I refuse to use. This is the worse McDonald's I have EVER been too! They are unprofessionally dressed, shirts rolled up to show exposed stomachs, pants down to their knees, hair unkept and down not even tied up or in a bun. Long nails which carry bacteria. Their sods machines are extremely gross. The dispensers have grey/black slimy goop coming from them. The restaurant always smells horrible, there's never hand sanitizer in the machines. They're extremely rude, calling us liars to our face because we had asked if sauce was in the bag for our nuggets. They said yes, there wasn't any. So I waited and asked again for sauce. They only heard one flavor so I asked for the other. Then the young lady says "****you have a whole bag of sauces how much do you need?!" Remind you I only had like 8 in my bag now for about 40+ nuggets. They also accused us of lying because they never gave us our 3rd kids drink! The burgers are raw half the time! When we pulled in the lot, the line was completely wrapped around the building so we decided to get off, hoping it'd be quicker. we were SO totally wrong. it took 27 minutes... TWENTY... I wish there was something that you could give less than one star. The McDonald's in Suffolk on Holland Road is absolutely terrible. The employees have the worst attitude and the food is never hot. If it is you waited 45 minutes to an hour for it. This place is horrible. It needs to be shut down. The service is so slow most the time, when you get your food it's not worth the wait. When you get your food it luke warm or room temperature. Now you don't get what you ordered. I ordered a bacon double cheeseburger. The wrapper was right but the sandwich was completely wrong. Tried calling to speak to a supervisor, the phone just ranged and ranged. Called back and then line was suddenly busy. So if you're craving this place, don't drive off till you check the contents of your bag, check what's in the wrapper. Everyone else in line can wait. It might mess up their wait time, but make sure you get what you paid for. Otherwise prepare to be disappointed. read more

Took 25 minutes to get food curbside and half of it was wrong. Nugget sauces busted in the bottom of the bag. Went in and took 15 more minutes to get correct food. Never did get the right drinks. Left only to find out the half that wasn't wrong was cold or had HAIR in it. The McChickens were literally frozen in the middle. Threw away 75% of the food. Complete waste of my time and money. Every time we order here drive thru or pickup they get items wrong or miss stuff. Today I sat for 30 minutes for a mobile order I made in advance while they ignored mine and another persons pickup to focus exclusively on the drive thru. The lobby is closed and all the employees do when you bring it up is shrug. When we called the response on the phone was " we know we commin." I was standing next to one person waiting for two regular hamburgers, and he said he had waiting for over 15 minutes for his to go order. Went to the door (that was closed)and the guy working inside saw I wasn't able to do the drive through. He gestured "one sec" and the girl came and opened the door for me. I have to agree with most of the other reviews. This is one of the slowest McDonald's I have ever been to. I have also had my orders given to me incorrect more than correct when going through the drive thru. They updated the inside this past year which looks nicer with the sitting areas and fireplace but the place still lacks cleanliness. Customer service can definitely use improvement. read more

Every time we visit this location there's an issue. Ice cream/Mc flurry machine is down, associates forget to include items in our order, the wait time is excessive, ect. I've learned to just go to the location on the other part of town instead. Tonight, they were out of chicken strips, out of happy meal toys, forgot to give the happy meal drink AND the drive threw wait was SO long that we had to park and go inside instead. This location has a double drive thru which apparently confuses the employees. The girl at the first window was chatting with a friend and didn't tell us our total as she took our card for payment. Luckily we looked at the receipt before pulling up to the next window, because she charged us for the order behind us. She had to call a manager over to void the payment and charge us for our order. It's been 4 days since both charges appeared on our bank statement, but the credit hasn't. Pay attention and follow your company procedures and this won't happen a again. read more
