    Fries and onion rings

A perfect little burger spot in northern Suffolk. We came here for a quick lunch on the weekend. We were seated as soon as we entered and had our drinks a few minutes later. For crushed ice lovers, they have crushed ice. I didn't realize it from the menu but these are smashed burgers which is my favorite. I'm not a big beef eater so I don't like massive patties. I tryed the frazzle dazzle burger with onion rings. My friends had the frazzle dazzle, cheese sticks, wings (bone in) and fries and the shrimp and fries basket. Anyone who got the burger loved it. The wings were also great. The shrimp basket was the only fail. They were over fried. The cheese sticks were massive. One was more than enough for one person. Overall we enjoyed and will be back in the future when a burger craving hits.

Classic Single Burger (w/lettuce, tomato, and cheddar)

Our group of three had a great meal at Westside. I ordered the single and a side of mozzarella logs. The patty was the best part of the meal. It was seasoned well and the meat flavorful. The bun had been visibly toasted on the grill, which is nice and adds to the grill taste but the bun was cold. If my bun was warmed it's easily a 5 star burger. The tomato was fresh, albeit cut too thick for my personal preference. The cheese logs tasted great (quality cheese) but had absolutely no cheese pull. The surrounding area is nice and if it wasn't so hot we would have opted outside seating and played corn hole. I definitely recommend stopping by and trying a burger.

Hotdog! We checked this place out during the fall festival. Service was fast and friendly and the food came out relatively quickly. It was a nice rustic vibe and very clean.

Yall. This love is amazing!! 3 buildings in one food was beyond fantastic. Like ohhhhhhhh fantastic. Our waitress was the sweetest most amazing young lady. It was so good I am going back and taking more family 2 days after. I had the special the Texas burger, pickle fries man so good. Hubby had the shrimp basket. Y'all have to try it. They have beers wine and mixed drinks and the other side has tacos. Yum! So cool with old school look and a silo look with lounges and plenty outdoor seating below and above. Just go you won't regret it.

I have been following the progress as they have been building and finally tried it out. Burgers are good and the single is plenty big. They charge for toppings so it increases the cost. Be prepared. Ketchup and mustard are free and on the table. The drinks were disappointingly in very small styrofoam cups. For $2.50 the cups should be larger. The place is clean with plenty of seating. Keep in mind not only do you get charged for onions and lettuce, a charge to support equal wages for the kitchen staff was added. That should have been noted up front before we ordered. I did not see a sign and was not informed. Has the potential to be a great place if a few things are changed.

Burger was awesome Tasted great. Service was quick friendly and attentive. Inside was very clean all around. Everyone preparing food was wearing gloves. Fry portion could be a lot bigger for the price.

Great service! Ambiance on a Friday evening is super busy. Food was absolutely delicious and better than I expected. Definitely will be back!

Normally great service and I am not complaining about the speed or quality of food but it is hard to overcome the lack of warmth and empathy in the hostess. The atmosphere is modern.

Classic double burger ($10) with lettuce ($0.25) and tomato ($0.25), French fries ($3). View of the grill from the "bar".

Burgers tasted very good. Well executed hand smashed patties. Patties were about 1/4# smashed thin. They cooked fast and filled the bun. Fries were frozen. Everything is a la Carte: $0.25 lettuce, $0.25 tomato, etc. So my Classic Double Burger with lettuce and tomato was $10.50. Think Five Guys with a better burger, and Hardee's fries.

Not local, so just something to be aware of. First impression is strong. Specials, awards, and a "Top 25 Burger in the U.S. (2021)" recognition are clearly displayed when you walk in. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality and ambition of the food. The interior is well thought out. Heavy gold-and-black design with light brown accent chairs gives it a polished, upscale feel without being flashy. Leather seating is in great shape, and the tall ceilings paired with black vertical boards make the space feel larger than it is. Lighting is excellent, especially considering there are very few windows. Music is smooth and casual, though to some it could be turned down just a notch. The kitchen is semi-open behind a half wall, which adds to the experience early on as cooking smells build anticipation. Toward the end of my visit, the space did get slightly smoky. I arrived to an empty restaurant, but by the time I left there were around 20-25 people dining. Service was a highlight. Randy showed exceptional hospitality and checked in consistently without hovering. Food hit the table in about six minutes, which is impressive, even considering I was the only guest at first. I ordered the Major Way burger with sautéed onions, bacon, and their house drip sauce. The patty came out piping hot with a great exterior sear, though the interior flavor relies heavily on the sauce. The onions were almost cold, which stood out against the hot patty. The sauce is excellent, creamy with a light spice, and it absolutely carries the burger. Without it, the burger would feel underwhelming by comparison. The bun could benefit from toasting, as the bun struggled to hold everything together. Lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp. If ordering to go, I'd recommend getting the buns on the side. Traditional wings were done right. Crispy outside, moist inside, and good-sized whole wings. They're essentially well-executed fried chicken wings. While very good, I feel like some seasoning may be burning off in the fryer. I'd love to compare these to their sticky or "everything" wings. Colossal shrimp was excellent. Great batter, excellent house sauce, and perfectly cooked with real texture. The seasoning shines here without tasting burnt. The fries were standout. Easily some of the best I've had in a while. Skinny, twice-fried, fresh-cut potatoes with a (I think) honey BBQ dusting. I intentionally ordered a smaller portion so the photo isn't portioned to size. House-made fruit punch was fantastic. Sweet, clean, and refreshing without that artificial coating you get from bottled drinks. I also appreciate their use of paper bowls and plates instead of styrofoam. The restaurant was clean top to bottom, including the bathrooms, which is always a strong indicator of good management. Overall, this place punches well above its weight. In a larger city, food at this level would easily cost 2.5-5x more. If you're spending lunch money at major fast-food chains nearby, redirect it here. You'll leave full and without that post-fast-food regret.

And downtown Suffolk is just beautiful and quaint, it feels friendly and idyllic. *Ambience: Extremely comfortable, super approachable, but also refined with lots of wood and brick, but open and airy, and lots of light. You walk in to a cocktail and bar area, with an incredible painted sign on the brick wall behind the bar, that is a total throwback. The bar is incredibly comfortable and open and warm feeling. There are hardwood tables and beautiful booths along with a private dining area in the back. Really couldn't ask for or want for a more comfortable environment. *Service: absolutely stellar, super friendly staff, our server could not have been nicer or more genuine, or had more of an "ownership attitude" as if the restaurant meant everything to her, and so did us being there. She knew everything on the menu, had great recommendations, and insured we were consistently taken care of. She truly missed nothing. Harper, the owner, came over to check on us and ensure we were enjoying ourselves. He couldn't have been nicer or kinder or more humble. Service was outstanding. *Food & Drinks: The food! The drinks! Oh man! I've been a "Yelp Elite Member" for almost 10 years and the food here at hT is near the top of all my reviews, hundreds of them. The highest quality ingredients, impeccably curated, ingeniously but simply paired, created with a true love for the art of cooking and the true joy of the consumer. This was obvious. We started with a Mainstream Manhattan and Old Fashioned from the bar. No ordinary bartender, she's a true mixologist/professional. Both drinks were excellent, no "simple syrup" used here, raw sugar cubes melted into the finest spirits, yummm! We order brussels sprouts from the appetizer menu everywhere we go and compare them. None have ever come close to our favorite, for a dozen years, until now. These were crispy on the outside, but juicy inside, flash fried to an al dente bite and finished (almost injected) with a cherry vinegar glaze that permeated every bite with sweet, tart perfection. We also started with the vibrant Camden County May Pea & Truffle Toast which was like a celebration of spring with a fresh, grilled baguette topped with fancy Italian truffle cheese (insane!), sweet tender may peas, and fresh pea shoots, all drizzled with olive oil for a fresh, earthy, and simple bite that captured the essence of this farm-to-table cuisine. For entrees we ordered the Ben Johnson's Soft Shell Crabs with remoulade and the Brown Sugar Brined Porkchop with pimp cheese, grits, and chard tomatoes with a side of hand cut fries with roast shallot mayo. Everything was stellar, no exceptions. I can honestly say this was **the best pork chop I've ever eaten, ever.** Tender, sweet, meaty and paired perfectly with the creamy cheese grits and the tang and smoke of the charred tomatoes. Ridiculously good! See my photos, too bad they don't come with "taste-o-vision", because, wow! The hand cut, skin on, double fried potatoes and roast shallot mayo were fantastic. As if that wasn't enough food, they also brought us stone ground cornbread, with a massive slab of rough salted butter, steamy, warm, soft, buttery perfection. I'm ready to go back now! *Value & Overall: I posted pictures of all menus and all prices. Their spirits and mixed drink selections from the bar are incredible. The food, service and ambience simply couldn't have been better. Prices, as you'll see, are exactly in line for what you get and an excellent value. Portions on everything were excellent and we ended up taking home quite a bit of food, which was also stellar the next day. I absolutely cannot recommend Harper's Table highly enough. This establishment, all parts of it, truly earn a five star review across the board with no exceptions. Have no hesitation, make a reservation, go, it will become an instant favorite.

The mozz Sticks came out about 40 min later. They were so over cooked that all the cheese was completely blown out of them. We tried a few and it was nothing but bread. The waitress was nice enough to take them back and just remove them from our tab (it would be too long to wait for them again). Another 20 minutes and we received our order. The fries looked amazing!!! I was so disappointed to find out that looks can be deceiving. They had no flavor. I feel like maybe it was an oversight? I have read other reviews and others raved over them so, maybe the kitchen just forgot to season them. But they tasted like pure oil. But those burgers. Holy moly. Those burgers are were soooooo good! They don't make up for the others but I was glad not to leave there hungry. They gave us a coupon for our next time coming in.
