Where do I begin, when my family first moved into the city of Sunrise, this McDonald's was the only McDonald's in the city. It was fantastic. People would like up just to eat inside. It is a nightmare now. The soda and ice dispensers don't work in the dining room. The staff non-existent, my big Mac was incorrectly assembled, there was standing water on the floor, and their prices were high. I will never come back to this McDonald's. read more

This McDonald's experience would never make me want to go to another store again. I waited about 15-20 minutes for 2 ice teas yesterday. Who does that right? Anyways, I asked about 3 times what was happening with the tea, I got anywhere from it's brewing, to I know about the order, etc. It wasn't until I asked for a refund that they magically appeared. No receipt was also rather awkward (I have to itemize things for work) So service here is uneven, you have some really hustling and others look like they are wondering around and gossiping. The lines are always long and they do not know how to separate online orders from regular customer orders and you can't pick up your order if it's already been prepared from the front window and is an online order they make you sit in the line for however long it takes with the rest of the cars, the food gets cold, so not smart. I rarely take the time to write one of these letters, good or bad, but more often they are bad rather than good. This one is a good one. I come to Mcdonald's EVERY DAY for breakfast and have done so for YEARS. I recently moved and was sad to leave the location that I grew accustomed to. My first few interactions at my new location were normal, some mediocre at best, or people you could tell just didn't want to be there that early in the morning. Move forward to my first of MANY interactions with Dayna(I hope I am spelling her name correctly). She is ABSOLUTELY the most AMAZING, EFFICIENT, KIND, POLITE, FUNNY, ENERGETIC, UPLIFTING, CLEAR SPEAKING, WELL MANNERED, PATIENT, PEERLESS, EXCEPTIONAL employee. I could have gone on and on with so many more words to describe the service she provides but the best word to describe the service she provides through that drive-through is just SUBLIME! I have worked as leadership in Fortune 500 organizations and currently work in providing Account/Relationship Management for Key Accounts in a Private Aviation firm and I would feel absolutely assured that my clients would be well managed and taken care of if left in Dayna's hands. I believe she is an employee to watch out for, I understand she is new, but if she chooses to stay at McDonalds she is someone who will go places and be someone truly special and will be a blessing to every customer, or store she interacts with. I feel she set a high bar of greatness for other employees to attain. I look forward to the mornings that I come to get breakfast and Dayna is there to greet me at the speaker because that just assures me that my day is going to be a great day! I have to start this with...of all my years of indulging in McDonald's, this by far is the friendliest, most accommodating one in my memories. This location is on our way home from my daughter's karate class ..so once or twice a week we stop here. I have been meaning to leave a comment for a while now, but I am here with my daughter right now and was greeted by the manager in a tie as if we were dining with a $$$$. Fish and bread are super fresh as always and the place is spotless. There should never be a bad review with this location. The crew here is very rude. I went through the drive thru yesterday, just before I reached the pick up window, some jerk cut in front of me. Apparently this jerk was a friend of the crew because he was greeted at the window like a long lost friend. He obviously did not join the line and place his order like everyone else because he held up the line placing his order and kept the paying customers waiting. When I complained to someone who identified herself as the manager she claims he was an Uber driver, which is not true, if it is, shame on Uber for hiring this jerk.
