Decided to give five guys another try recently, and it was pretty good. The key this time is I ordered in advance. That way when I got there, it was ready to go and I didn't have to wait. I love how convenient this location is for me. Each time I have gone to visit, even if it's busy I usually get my order finished and ready within 5 minutes. My typical order is a little hamburger with lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup and green peppers. Its honestly more than enough for me but will definitely try their regular burgers which comes with 2 patries instead of one. Typically I'll get a side order of their fries which are greasy but absolute perfection. This location is spacious and clean and the staff is great too. Love coming here! read more

Dined late on a Friday evening. Ordered 1 hot dog, 1 cheeseburger and a fry to share for dine in. Chomped on some peanuts while we waited and the cashier was extremely kind to give us large cups that we did not order. Waited and waited to have seemed to be for a while until I had to check the status of our order which was sitting in a bag. We were very hungry so did not make a fuss but our fries were a bit cold and soggy. A pretty decent burger joint in the plantation area. This Five Guys is basically the same as every other one with the layout when it comes to seeing the peanuts in the bags as well as the open kitchen where the workers are cooking up a storm the burgers and fries that are perfectly cooked everytime. I usually end up getting the little cheeseburger because it is the perfect amount of food and even for a little cheeseburger it is a little pricey, no pun intended. I do love how you can get as many toppings as you want and I usually load it up. With this last little cheeseburger I got, I got grilled mushrooms grilled onions pickles and lettuce on it and everything was cooked to perfection. The cheese was melted wonderfully and had an amazing pull when I bit into it. The onions and mushrooms were also grilled to the perfect consistency and the flavors were amazing! The fries are always amazing and I ordered a small fry and even with a small fry the entire bag basically was overflowing with it. My only concern when it comes to the fries are they are a little too greasy. But they put the perfect amount of salt on it and it is so hard not to inhale them because of how the flavor of the fries are and how fresh they always seem to be! The staff is always super friendly when I'm here and the food is always fresh and cooked fast. Even when the place is jam-packed I have never waited more than 10 minutes to get my food and me out the door! My main concerns that make this not a five star review or the overly greasy fries and the prices of the food here are a little bit on the higher end but aside from that everything is always exceptional when I am here because the place is always spotless and ridiculously clean! read more

I came in for a pick up and stood in front of a staff of about 7 or more who were having side talks and ignored me standing there. This doesn't include the cashier making it 8. The cashier was helping someone in line but as soon as she was done she also proceeded in conversations with them as if I wasn't standing there waiting for service. No one assisted me for a good 10 mins or so. I moved over to the order line. After the sup/lead came out another cashier came and hesitantly offered to help asking me to go back to the pick up area after I told her I was there for a pick up. Afterwards, I had to wait for the order that was supposed to already be prepared to be started. Then, I had to show multiple staff members my order before they provided me with an item they missed with my order. Customer service was terrible and the staff was not friendly or helpful. They lacked professionalism and were heavily engaged in personal chit chat until the sup/lead came out. Don't order pickup from this location. If you do, expect to wait longer and to be prioritized after walk in customers. For the sheer lack of attention and professionalism from the staff I wouldn't even recommend walk in to be honest. Was craving the Five Guys fries as they are typically awesome! But today not at all! Worst thing ever today! I came in around 2:30 and ordered a regular fry. Speed of staff was great, greeted immediately, was not left to flounder. They filled the order very quick. I grabbed my fries and left because I was running to a night class. While driving I of course opened the fries and began to eat. Lo and behold wahh wahh wahh sad trombone sound they were cold and on the greasy side! They were sitting around- no one cared to discard the fries that were sitting around and make a fresh batch. Or at least drop them to reheat! Cold, limp, slightly mealy. Some are fairly quick and others are on the slow side. This location is on the slow side. But the burgers are cooked to order so I don't mind waiting. In addition, they have the free peanuts to munch on while you wait. I think the prices are a bit high for what you get. But my kids don't seem to complain and they mostly finish what they order. When the rare craving for a greasy, artery-clogging cheesy delight kicks in, I'll be having one (or two) of these, plus a small order of their AMAZING cajun fries. I might be extra biased right now, because my first visit to this location was my first solid meal in a month and a day after my surgery being able to actually eat something enjoyable. Going from a soft food only diet to a massive cheeseburger would make any carnivore salivate. It was the best meal I have been able to eat in a long time! The location at Plantation is a lot bigger than I thought it would be inside, and it was busy too with pretty much every table full. The service was fast. If you have never ate here, a little burger of any kind means it is one patty and the regular is two. If you are a light eater, I recommend going with the little option. There are many different topping options for your burgers, but I wish they had banana peppers. The soft drinks come from a refillable fountain machine off to the left side. Our order came out pretty fast. We all opted for different kinds of burgers and got a large fry to share. The large fries were a bit mushy, and the amount overall was too much for us to finish with how big our burgers were. I was given the wrong order then had to ask no less than five times for my little cheeseburger, which is what I actually ordered. When I did get my cheeseburger, it was completely off. The beef patty tasted like bleach- I kid you not. I ate a few bites off it because I was really hungry and thought maybe I was imagining it. By the fourth bite, I had to spit it out. I definitely was not imagining it. I just ate my fries and hoped for the best that I don't end up getting sick from whatever was wrong with this cheeseburger. This just happened so I don't know the verdict yet. I'm giving it two stars instead of one because the dining room seems reasonably clean. I do see employees cleaning up. However one of the employees who keeps shuffling the trash cans around is also behind the counter handing off orders, and I'm just hoping he changes his gloves in between the two tasks. Was up in the Ft. Lauderdale area and late for a meeting, so when I saw Five Guys here, I was happy to know that I could find decent food, and not boggled down on wait time. Ordered their Double Cheese with lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms and mayo. While waiting, I enjoyed their bottomless peanuts which is always a nice touch. When I received my burger, they somehow left out my grilled onions and mushrooms; I had already taken a few bites and noticed so I brought it up front and the staff was super apologetic and made a new one for me. 5 minutes later it was done and perfect! They let me keep the first one but I couldn't eat it and I had a meeting to go to, so unfortunately I had to dump it...uggg...now I'm hungry again and could have used a nice Five Guys snack!! read more

This was my first time actually visiting this location because my hubs usually picks up the food. I had a crazy craving for their burger and fries this afternoon. I have coffee with hubs sometimes and since I was meeting him this particular day, I asked him if he wanted to share. I ordered in advance via their website. Everyone has been to Five Guys and the burgers and fries are very consistent. Today, we stopped in a rush and the staff was so happy. Sounds silly, but from the young lady cleaning the tables to the staff behind the counter they all seemed to be enjoying their time working. It's funny because many fast causal restaurants make their staff yell welcome or hello and it reminds me of when my kids so "okay Mom" when I remind them of a chore that needs to be done. But this staff of workers said hello on their own and we felt welcome. So sometimes a review is all about the happiness of the staff. First time trying Five Guys! I've never been a huge burger person, but since I've been doing keto my options of places to eat have been limited. I wanted a quick bite to eat and knew that Five Guys had bunless burger options, so I decided to stop in. The place was pretty empty.. only a few other tables. I ordered a bacon cheese burger on a lettuce "bun" and added grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, and jalapeños. The fact that they don't charge you per topping is a plus. They accidentally called the wrong number and gave our order to someone else, but they were quick to make us a new order and offered us free soft drinks to make it up. The burger was really great.
