Typical McD's. I usually park and walk in but used drive thru this time. I couldn't understand who took my order. I'm not sure what language he was speaking. Due to a lack of poor English, my order got messed up. I asked for an unsweetened iced tea no ice. They gave me ice and still couldn't understand when I had then correct it. Lol. Usually when I go into this location, I see the day manager. Not sure of his name but he is awesome. He is very friendly, organized, efficient and accommodating. It's near work, so I will be back. Stopped here today to get a Southern Style Chicken Sandwich for lunch and as I was sitting at the window waiting for my order the Manager opens the window and says "Do you like iced coffee?", "Why, yes I do" I answer, "Caramel flavor?" she checks?, yes again. The staff there is AMAZING! I have been going to this McDonald's for years. The service is extremely fast and it is rare that an order is incorrect. The one or two times my order was wrong, the matter was quickly resolved. Big cheers to Linda and Karen. These are two staff members I often see in the drive thru. Both women are very professional and consistently greet my three year old son, by his name. When I see them, it feels like I am talking to a friend. DO NOT come to this McDonald's location if you want a chocolate shake! They don't exist here! I was given a "chocolate shake" that tasted like pure vanilla, returned it for a real chocolate shake, only to be given an even more vanilla shake, and was told that's as chocolate as it gets! The manager was as vanilla as the chocolate shake...NO personality. NO attempt to make it right. Honestly I can't believe I'm giving 5 stars but truth be told, I'd give 10 if I could. I'm not a huge fan of McDonald's food but the kids love it. The wold is in an uproar over COVID 19 and we have been to other fast food restaurants where employees are rude and don't even want to work but they will stay to get a paycheck. Obviously before hitting McDonald's we had been to another fast food place and it wasn't a good experience. McDonald's was one of 2 places the kids wanted to go so there we were yesterday evening in the middle of a torrential downpour of rain ordering food for 14 people! Not only were the employees extremely friendly (I'm sure with all going on they've dealt with some not so nice people) but they were happy to accommodate our large order. The world is uncertain on where things will go over the next few months but I will say after such a great experience (it's never been that great before but not ever totally horrible either) we will keep McDonald's as one of our go to drive-thru's spending money to help keep employees at work when many places are closing their doors as the virus spreads! I'm here frequently for coffee since it's close to my kids school. We've had fundraisers here, playdates, etc. Plenty of room. Dining room is remodeled. Video games and a large play structure for the kids. The food is ya know McDonald's, but the employees are friendly and they get my order correct pretty much all the time (they can't seem to grasp light cream on the iced coffee though). Mcdonald's food is just way to constant to judge it from location, so you can really only review the service. This location is better than many I've been to, and the ground up rebuild a few month ago makes it one of the more modern Mickey D's arround. Only thing that keeps this from being a 5 star review was the fact that they don't open at 4:30am. Now, I can't nessesarraly fault them for that, but a few weeks ago I tried to go through the drive through at 4:30am or thereabouts. ALL the lights at the drive through and through out the store were on, so I sat there for a few minutes saying "hello" before driving off. Overall, decent coffee, good fast food and service. I stopped here this mornng before going to work. The person taking my order was nice. The lady at the 1st window was nice. But at the second window where I got my food, she didnt utter a damn word to me. Put my straw in my bag, handed me my drink and then my bag without saying a ANYTHING! No "Good Morning" "Here You Go" "Have a Nice Day" "Kiss My Ass" or anything. How effin rude is that!?! If you dont want to provide customer service or at the very least mumble a greeting, then you need to either not come in to work that day, or take your ass behind the fryer so you dont have to talk to anyone. We all have bad days but shit have SOME type of professionalism. On the brightside, my food was the hottest that I've ever had at McDonald's so I thank them for that. I live in the area so I hit this McDonald's at least five times a week. The drive-through is the fastest I've ever seen. The order is always correct. Food is always fresh. The employees are usually pretty friendly. The parking lots fairly clean. The only issue it seems like the garbage can outside in the drive-through gets pretty full and they don't empty it often enough.so as far as fast food goes, this place is top-of-the-line. read more
