I think this McDonald's is fine for a quick bite. It's decent fast food. The drive thru was quick. They have 2 lanes to keep it moving fast and if you use their app, it's even faster. The service was good. You can see your order on the drive thru menu screen to confirm it's correct. The person who took my order sounded friendly. The person at the 1st window who took my payment was polite as well. And the person at the 2nd window who handed me my order was also polite. So as far as fast food places go, this McDonald's is fine. I got a happy meal for under $5 and it was enough to satisfy my hunger at the moment. The chicken nuggets tasted good They came with fries, a drink, apple slices & a Sonic The Hedgehog 3 toy. The only negative about my happy meal was that the fries didn't taste fresh. They kinda tasted like old oil. And this has always been a hit or miss for me when ordering fries at McDonald's. Sometimes they're perfectly fresh and crispy. Other times they just taste old and soggy. Also, remember to ask for any condiments like ketchup or sauces. They rarely ask you if you want any and if you don't ask for it, they won't give it to you. I mean, who wants to eat nuggets and fries without ketchup and dipping sauce? Not the best branch of McDs but it's good location for a quick breakfast or Filet o Fish. Ordered the filet o fish and double filet o fish recently. The patty was on darker side and overdone. Requested they paid attention the second time when I ordered their double filet o fish. It was still overdone but less so. Both times, the fish wasn't flaky like the ones I had in Singapore, Louisiana or Bothell, WA. The bread was also not as soft. I wonder if it's the branch's preparation or a different supplier of fish patties to McDs in Texas? Will keep trying to find out. Breakfast was fine with the exception of service when the app didn't send the order to them or sent order to wrong queue. The staff aren't trained to handle that and you could face order issues. In such situations, I recommend just contacting McDonald's directly from app. You can also provide feedback to McDonald's. They will reach out to you with a resolution. Ambiance is nice, but the cleaning needs improvement. Sometimes, the tables are wet and smelt funky after cleaning. This is a non issue if you use the drive through. The lady at the drive through was incredibly rude. I'm not usually one to write bad reviews, but was super offended by the customer service here. My boyfriend and I got our food in the drive-through but were missing a couple sauces. Normal mistake, so we waited at the window to ask them to correct it. When she finally decided to speak to us we stated politely that we were missing sauce , to which she immediately got defensive that she didn't make a mistake because we didn't pay for it. We did, however, and it was on our receipt rung up free with our meals. She acted like we were trying to get free things. I asked her calmly why we were rung up for it and told we were going to get it free of charge, just for her to decide not to put it in the bag purposefully without communication. I don't eat McDonalds but my kids love it. I brought my 3 year old here today and it was wonderful service. I'm actually so surprised about the low star reviews on Yelp. We walked in and were greeted immediately. We went to order and the lady was very nice. I accidentally knocked my sons cup off the tray and onto the floor and the worker grabbed it for me and insisted on giving me a clean one that hadn't touched the floor. I had tons of stuff and my hand and another worker offered to carry my tray to our seat for us. The play place is awesome. I have never been to a McDonalds that had a separate seating area and play area from the "general dining" part of the restaurant. It was nice cause the kids could play and it wasn't bothersome to other people eating without kids. The play area was very clean and well maintained. Perfect for my 3 year old. I've been coming here for almost a year almost every other day to pick up coffee and one sandwich. They never fail to screw something up. Today I placed my online order and was told when I arrived that it was not showing on their computers... I proceeded to show them my receipt on my phone and tell them well. I have the receipt here. But if you're going to close early, you need to change your freaking hours man. Countless times I've been to this location between 11:00pm and 11:59pm and have not gotten service. Like tonight for example. Just completely ignored.. And it doesn't help that there were cars in the parking lot and TWO GUYS IN UNIFORM STANDING OUTSIDE JUST TTTAAALLLKKKIIINNNGGG. Multiple people pulled around and tried to order but at no avail to get an order placed, they left. That's not only a negative review on your store, but profits lost to the company. The construction is still going on outside but the inside looks amazing! The construction crew's trucks and cars take up a majority of the spots, so you may have to park across the street. The inside of the restaurant is modern and CLEAN! Everything is still the same on the menu but the digital menus make it look much more enticing. The Redbox kiosk is gone but idk who really uses Redbox that often anymore. Let's talk abt the kids play area-UPGRADE! Yes, the play area is much smaller and doesn't have a slide. But it's clean and the area is adult accessible (accidents happen). The kids still played and didn't complain. Overall the remodel was well over due and I'm so glad they did it. read more

Stopped in today to snag a totally free McCafe hot chocolate and cappuccino before the coupons I had expired today. The hot chocolate was mediocre, tasting somewhat watery, even with whole milk and whipped cream on the top. The cappuccino wasn't bad though way too sweet and you do not get the choice of an unsweetened so you can sweeten it yourself option. There's a whole special area of the store away from all the other food where the coffees are prepared. The interiour is fairly swanky, like real art on the walls, and very clean! My son was amazed at the drinks robot they have; at this location at the drive thru window the cups are on an automated rotating dispenser and a robotic arm snatches the right size based upon order input then dispenses drinks automatically then spins them down a small oval conveyor to the employee working the drive thru. It really was pretty cool! I've only had food from here a few times and it's good for a McDonald's. I've never had anything arrive cold that was supposed to be hot and never had to correct an order. The Playplace was clean and the whole area tidy - and for the very first time in his life my child mustered the courage to finally climb up into one of them and play and slide! Whoever the manager on Sunday February 4th at lunch was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. First of all they need to learn how to communicate with customers. When we went to order the second lanes order was popping up on our screen. She kept taking the second lanes order and never came back to ours. When she did come back she asked for our order, I started and was very rudely cut off telling me to wait again. I couldn't see the order because the screens were messed up. We went to the window and paid, looked in the bag that was ripping that was just thrown at me. I kindly said "I'm sorry we are missing just one medium fry". The manager or whomever was taking the order rudely told me I ordered wrong. I had people in the car with me who also heard me order. I told her I would still like the fries even if she didn't have it on the receipt and gave her my credit card. She just threw the credit card back at me with zero apology. As a customer, I should never be treated this way. Completely uncalled for. Most likely will pick the McDonald's on 1488 next time because they are much much much nicer. OK, so I'm giving this place 4 stars because I've been here many times for breakfast and it has always been good. Today, I had a Big Mac combo, which I haven't had in years, and it was good, and the fries were good too. The only thing I forgot to order was extra sauce because the 3 bread thing is a bit dry. I didn't give them 5 stars because hours later, I had a series of about a dozen gas bursts (FARTS). Now, not to be gross, but I know my own gas(I believe we all know our own), but this gas smelt foreign, and it continually had a loud percussion, with lots clap, yet with a smooth harmony ending. It was a very fowl, nasty oder that told me there was something wrong about the food(probably old). I know it was McDonald's food that gassed me up because it's been years since I ordered something other than breakfast (which their eggs also give me nasty fowl gas, but a different gas than tonight's gas). We all know that it's kind of fun to smell our own farts, but not tonight. I did not enjoy any of my own farts nor did anyone on the dance floor that night. That's the fun thing about farting on the dance floor; you can let it rip and even give it a generous push because NOBODY hears it, and everyone keeps moving around, so everyone smells it. Just keep that poker face and the farting-phantom will escape undetected every time.
