This is certified my favorite restaurant to eat at in The Woodlands! I love the options they have and the food is delicious! the onion rings are always super crispy i loveeee them. I wanted to shout out the server Vanessa. She was very attentive and went above and beyond! This place is definitely a great family spot and a great dinner after a long day !

Stop by here for lunch restaurant was clean tidy food came out really quick and hot and everything ordered was as expected. Will definitely be returning here at a different date. The house was great. I knew the menu really well.

Basic burger with fries and soda

I had heard about this restaurant when I lived in California but for the most part California doesn't have very many good burger restaurants, so I never visited. After looking at the menu, this restaurant seems like a Hopdoddy on steroids. There are a few differences though as The Stand is more family friendly and they only have 1 cocktail with hard liquor (a frozen margarita) instead of having a full bar. They don't do a condiment bar with homemade condiments and their ice cream is not really ice cream but soft serve. Their burger is supposedly a 1/3lb blend of chuck and brisket. They have a nice list of compliementary condiments, in addition to their almost as large list of premium condiments which range from $0.25 to $2. Did I mention they are big on condiments and toppings here. They offer a 2oz tub of free pickles next to the register to snack on while waiting on your order to come to your table. I ordered a basic burger so I could compare to the competition without all the distraction of numerous toppings. Their basic burger is a hair under $10. I also added a side of fries. Burger - I subbed the stand sauce for jalapeno scallion aioli, and added picklrd jalapeños which I saw but never really tasted. The whole bun and topping to meat ratio is way off on just their basic burger. Not nearly enough meat. I can't imagine how skewed it would be for a specialty burger. I think you may not even be able to taste the meat at that point. Shredded lettuce doesn't wow me and their grilled onions, which comes standard, I barely even tasted as well. Fries - these are your frozen variety and taste nothing special. I spent around $18 for a mediocre burger, fries and drink and I still like the Texas-based competitor better, so I probably won't be visiting here anytime soon in the future.

Service was fast. Food was yummy. Everything was pretty clean. The burgers were juicy and tasty. The onion rings we ordered were fried to perfection. Crunchy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. Not dried out. Wish the sweet potato fries were crunchier. They were a little soggy. Frozen drink was small but it was a nice treat.

This place is a couple of doors down from the Stretchlab. I had a Zoom meeting that I did not want to take in the car, so stopped by for the meeting and a bite. I ordered the Stand Burger with pepper jack cheese medium, and fire fries. The burger was very flavorful, and I really enjoyed it. The fries with the fire sauce had good flavor but seemed to be overcooked even with the sauce on it. I ordered water to drink. I wanted lemon which was already sliced, but needed to ask for a fork to retrieve it. My table had not been cleaned since the last Customer sat there, so I wiped it down myself. The restroom was clean, but the toilet paper was not in the dispenser and just sitting out. My cashier was friendly and helpful.

    Chinese Chicken Chop Salad

Ordered the Chinese chicken salad for lunch and it was delicious!!! I have to say the dressing is what made the salad a 9/10. The only thing I didn't like is that the chicken seems like it was from a can. My coworker also got a southwest salad and came to the same conclusion. Other than that I would have rated 5 stars because the salads are very good but the chicken is not it. The service was also prompt and friendly. The food was ready when we got there. Overall will be back but maybe I'll have to just get the salad with no chicken.

Walk in and order at the counter. They have an extensive menu of chicken, burgers, salad and soup. You can build your own burger or order a specialty. I would rate this place as a bit of a bougie burger place with prices a bit on the high side. The chili fries are good. Mac and cheese is good but with it was hotter. Fire fries are a bit spicy. Burgers are cooked as you like. Everyone rated their burgers as good except lacking seasoning. The milkshakes are good and thick. The music was a bit on the loud side.

Excellent service by cash register staff. Good choices, reasonable pricing. Kale Salad and Ahi Tuna Burger were excellent/plentiful. Stand Burger came out well-done instead of Medium, as desired/ordered. Overall, a good place to savor classic American fare.

Sort of fast food. You walk in and order at the counter. Several choices and friendly staff. I opted for a turkey sandwich and my son went for a bacon burger. He loved his so much he ordered a second one. My turkey sandwich was a rainbow of flavor which made my senses and tummy happy. Lots of seating and a great patio section. Very laid back vibe and worth the wait while they cook and make your food.

No Bueno... Short rib grilled cheese was not fresh. In addition, I spent majority of the time picking out bay leaves that were embedded in the meat. There was no bacon jam, just large cuts of onions. Fries were cold and poor quality. The only good thing was the brownie. It was massive and very rich! Overall, the experience was not great.

Staff greeted me with friendly "HELLOS!" at my 11:30 arrival to pick up the Build Your Own Burger (bun-less, double patty) with extras (Chile, Fried Egg) and fries with Fire Sauce and Aioli that I'd ordered online at 9:30. Order was not completely ready, and a cheerful associate gave me a cup for a delicious Mint/Cucumber drink that in and of itself is a reason to return. Nice modern industrial decor, outdoor seating, fantastic sound system featuring '80's hits. After dumping chili and fried egg on top of the patties, the fact they were over-cooked seemed irrelevant. Fries seemed Ok too; I'm not a conessour. Flavor winners were Aioli and Fire Sauce (ordered with fries, but used in chili).

I loved the ambiance because it feels a bit retro. The music was a bit too loud for us since we like having a conversation while we eat out. I also disliked that they don't have but one option for a diet soda, and it was not Diet Dr. Pepper. When the burgers finally arrived, it took a long time, the bread was cold and it is the kind of bread that looks big and not super soft. Not the good kind of Brioche! The flavor of the meat and condiments was really good. The fries were also delicious, they were crispy on the outside but not dry on the inside. My husband ordered a Seared Ahi tuna salad, it took FOREVER! The server mentioned the salad had to be made twice because they made it wrong twice! He was starving and it really took a long time. I dislike places that demand a tip when we are getting our own drinks and standing in line to order. Demanding the tip even before you get "served"'sounds ridiculous to me. What if the service is really bad? What if a salad takes a long time to be ready? I don't think we will go back. Sadly!

Great quality food, friendly staff, and large selection of burgers and other options. They lose a star due to prices. I know we are near the heart of the Woodlands in Hughes Landing, however, non-alcoholic drinks and sides are quite expensive when added together with the entrée it came up to just over $20 a person tax included. Burgers are not small, but I expceted to be larger for $8-14. Fries are excellent, remained hot throughout entire meal, super fresh ingredients all the way around. Everything is made fresh to order so expect to wait a few minutes if they're busy.

I've had sandwiches in NYC and Boston, but Tony's were definitely better! The menu is overwhelming because so much sounds good, so we went with two 7 inch sandwiches to split--one hot and one cold. Although a helpful tip from the cashier is that you can order any cold sandwich hot. We had the Lucky Luciano (hot) and the Sophia (cold). Both were really good--it was hard to choose between the two. But if I'm being honest, that cold sandwich was reminiscent of subs I loved in the early 2000s from places that no longer exist...with that super thinly sliced turkey, thick slice of Swiss cheese, and basil mayo--it really hit the spot. We also had a cannolo--not as good as others I've had. The bottled root beer was delightful. The Lucky Luciano was the kind of sandwich I came here for, and don't get me wrong, it is deliciously cheesy and will make your hands messy. But the Sophia is the kind of sandwich I'll be craving. My only regret was not taking a sandwich to-go for later. Open a location closer to Houston, please. :)

Somehow, someway, it seems to never work out for me. But it finally happened and I'm mad at myself that it took so long. Probably 2+ years ago a friend and I were at a local sub shop in Sugar Land, and he mentioned how Blimpie was always his favorite. I couldn't even remember if I'd ever been to a Blimpie, but I saw that there happened to be one, so I bookmarked it on that day, and it haunted me ever since. Blimpie cares not about decor or vibes, but they do make an absolutely incredible sandwich. The menu is unique, in that each sandwich is basically just one ingredient different than the sandwich above it. I opted for the Blimpie Best Deluxe on parmesan bre The bread was pillowy soft. The flavor of the sandwich was absolute perfection. It somehow got better each bite. I could not believe how much I liked it and how sad I was when it was over. It will probably torment me indefinitely that I didn't order the larger sandwich. I will prevail. And I will visit again. My question though, is very simply: why did Blimpie almost completely go away? It's light years better than Subway.

I used to eat it daily back when a full meal was $4.99, and I've even had Subway in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. So yes, I have a calibrated palate for mass‑market sandwiches. They've got a handful of subs on special, but for a couple bucks more I went with my usual Italian--here called the "Italiano"--on Cheddar Jalapeño bread. And of course I did the footlong because size does matter. I asked for it toasted, only to discover they use a panini press, which flattens the bread like a stress test. Not my favorite. Ironically, I used to love Blimpie's oven‑style toast before Subway even offered it. They do have a separate oven for melting cheese, and that part I absolutely recommend. The sandwich itself was very good and definitely in Subway territory. For $1.29 you can grab a self‑serve cookie--critical, because I can select the front‑row cookie with the maximum chip‑to‑dough ratio. Fresh daily, solid flavor, very Subway‑adjacent. But I still prefer Subway's footlong cookie. It's a personality trait at this point. Staff was extremely friendly. I'm pretty sure the owner was working the counter, unless a gentleman of his seniority just enjoys staying busy or needs the cash, which is increasingly common these days. Honestly, that personal touch is probably what gives this place an edge over Subway. Pepsi products here. Acceptable, but I'm a Coke person. Blimpie is becoming an endangered species, even though it predates Subway by a year. But overall, I still think Subway has the stronger product.

We did not sit there because it was hot. We sat indoors. It was just me and my child. Our waitress did not mention that kids (12 and under) eat free all day Mondays (and 10 am - 12 noon on weekends). I learned this from reading Google reviews after we had already ordered. After I asked, she confirmed the promotion and allowed us to add a kids meal since we had already ordered an adult entrée, which is the required condition. We ordered a kids' pizza. You can pepperoni for $1 but it's a free add on Mondays. Not gonna lie, pizza tasted off. Kid said it and I ignored her. Then I tried it and ack. We brought the rest home and stuck it in the fridge but it tasted even worse the next day. Tossed in trash. Service required frequent prompting. Like pulling teeth. I had to ask about the drink included with the kids meal. And yes Milk is an option. I also had to ask about the cookie that is supposed to come with the meal. We did not receive one. She said they had chocolate chip only as oatmeal and sugar cookies were gone. I said fine. We never got anything. So I went to the take out stand and we were told they were out of cookies. But they offered us a small brownie instead. Unfortunately however it contained nuts. For an appetizer, we ordered the cast iron spinach artichoke dip. The chip‑to‑dip ratio was not balanced. We ran out of chips way before the dip was gone. We also ordered the cast iron skirt steak (yes lots of cast irons). I requested medium rare. It arrived medium well and slightly tough however. You'd think they could easily tell this since they slice it all up before serving. It was not seasoned, but presumably that is because it is intended to be used with the chimichurri sauce provided. No salt on the tables. Overall, the experience and the food were marginal and borderline acceptable, but definitely unremarkable. Service is another story however. She was nice, just not very good at her craft.
