Servers are friendly, food is usually lukewarm but ok. But after seeing something that looks like it came out of a swamp growing on the drink machine at the ice dispenser, I threw away the rest of my food and left. It takes a lot to turn my stomach, but mold/slime growing on the machine that's dispensing my food will definitely do it. I get napkins on the floor or straw wrappers on the counter after getting slammed but his isn't a rough shift, this is slime that comes from a very long time of not cleaning. The food was hastily prepared and the order was wrong. The service was less than desirable. I asked to speak to the manager, who was standing next to the kid handing my order, and he says"she's busy taking orders." Unacceptable for a fast food chain paying people $15 an hour and we get to wait longer, pay more, and get food that is either cold, wrong, or just plain abysmal. Never going back to this restaurant. I ordered the two for $3.50 deal and was told, "we are out of muffins." Really, at 9:00 am? So I said fine, same thing but on a biscuit. They charged me 8.99 for two biscuits. It wasn't my fault they ran out of muffins. That is why I wanted to speak to the so-called manager and was denied. I leave with my order and only received 1 sausage egg and cheese biscuits and a sausage McGriddle, which I threw away because I don't like the taste. I read the past reviews from 2019 but no reviews in 2020. To start off the New Year by penning a review for this McDonald. We drove by a few times for mobile orders and used the McDonald app for daily deals. We usually get the $1 ice coffee / latte and $1 fries. There was one instance where there was a glitch and the mobile order didn't go through. Most of the time, the employees doesn't mess up our orders. The reason for the 4 stars is the fries are always fresh, warm (sometime hot) and never lukewarm. We had never cold or hard fries (yes, I had lukewarm hard and burnt fries at other McD's drive thru in the past). I like how they don't include the receipt inside the paper bag. It's sanitary and less worrisome given its covid. The employees wore masks and gloves when they gave us our bags of food. They are friendly and efficient. read more

I was getting the 2 for 3.99 filet o fish, and the deal was supposed to be good through Lent but this store ended it a week before then. I ordered a double fish sandwich and it was thrown in the box like I was supposed to assemble it. I am so sick of wasting my time and money for this kind of service. McDonald's was the lunch on the go choice for the day. Had to use the drive thru because there was no inside seating allowed. Which caused a long line. But to be fair the line moved fast and the order was correct. A plus in my book. The fries were not hot or even warm. They weren't even salted. Had to lose a star just for that! Cheeseburger's were warm and delicious (they are always ordered when we go to McDonald's). Looks like the amount of meat is getting less and the bun is getting larger. It might be my imagination. I arrive at McDonald's at 1150am and the drive thru lane is packed, so I walk inside to place my order. After waiting 10 minutes I ask what's going on and I can see the staff saying they forgot the order. So after another 5 minutes I finally get my food, but they could only give me 1 apple pie instead of the 2 I ordered. Let's just say I won't be retuning. I was having a rough day and I just often get drained from how horrible customer service is in the world now days, the young lady Riana who was working the drive thru was soooo nice and mind you the line was wrapped around the building so I'm sure she had a lot going on but she immediately apologized when she asked for my order and how voice was so pleasant and upbea, then when I got to the window she complimented my nails and had a huge smile on her face and she just really uplifted my spirits. There are many times I have gone through the drive through only. Often just for a soda. The last time was about two months ago. The reason for my review has more to do with the character and helpfulness of employees. I wasn't sure it should be in an actual review but then I saw another review posted for this location. The reviewer discussed the positive attitude of crew members as well as positive aspects about the food he noted that he left his wallet there and recovered it later, everything intact. When I am traveling with my dogs back and forth (in the car) from Pennsylvania to Cape Cod - I stop at many McDonalds. I feel safe there. Traveling alone and needing to stop, McDonalds is always the place I try to find. And, if I had to estimate, at least 80% of my interactions with employees are positive (half of the eighty percent being stellar :-). I would say about 7% of the time I might come across people I perceive as being grumpy or unwelcoming. I always remind myself that I never know what someone else maybe dealing with. Ok if my math checks out I have 13% left. The 13% refers to employees who appear to be on screw that's short-staffed. I want to give a huge shout out to Brian st the Trexlertown McDonald's. He said he's been working there for over a year. I met him yesterday when he and I both stopped to help a man who was stopped in the middle of a very busy (dangerous intersection). Apparently, Brian was walking to or from work and he wanted to make sure everything was ok. Interestingly, Brian was the only man who stopped. The person (car in intersection) was so grateful. He apparently was cut off by another driver and his '66 Cadillac lost a hubcap and stalled. Another woman stopped and she and Brian did most of the pushing to get the car out of the way. The man was so appreciative. Brian distracted him from the situation by talking about the car and asking questions. He's truly a very genuine person. Strong too!! read more

Drive thru was cash only.... Waited almost 15 minutes for a cold double cheeseburger, 6 nuggets and small fries which were sitting under the heat lamp before I got there so they were cold to . Nuggets were over cooked/rubbery /stale. Can't really figure out how to describe them. Good thing I could see the order screen or my sauces would have been forgotten because they weren't put in. There was only one person on the food prep so I felt bad for her. My mother went into the store and while trying to order her food the worker yelled at her for trying to order for no reason and I think that is completely unacceptable and this person should be held accountable and the employees should be taught better employability skills. read more

The cashier at the window was friendly and offered me directions and advice on the area as we are new. The manager even came up with a smile and was so polite and friendly. This McDonald's has continuously gone downhill. Understaffed and horrible quality food. The wait lines are freaking ridiculous with a drive-through is around the building and nobody ever has any sense of urgency. I can never tell who the manager is or who the worker is because they all seem to be standing around either talking or messing around on the phone with no clear direction on what their job duties are. I blame this all on the management because if they don't know what they're doing how are the workers going to know what they're doing. I placed my order through the drive through. Part of my order was 6 piece chicken nugget with bbq sauce. I recieved my bag of food and placed it on the seat next to me. When I got home I realized the bag is soaked. My seat is wet as well. When I open the bag to look inside ... I see my 6pc nugget box is wet. I open it up and discover there are no chicken nuggets inside. Instead the box was full of tartar sauce. It leaked all over my food and into my new car's passenger seat. I drove back to the McDonalds and requested to speak to a manager. I showed the manager my proof or purchase as well as the soaked box filled with tartar sauce. She took the box from me and didn't say another word. Never asked how I wanted to proceed from here. So I took the initiative and tried to tell her I wanted my money back she couldn't hear me because she was too busy ignoring me. Another employee came to the counter since the manager wanted to delegate her responsibilities of providing customer service to my issue. The employee slid a new bag of food towards me and said sorry about the mistake we gave you 2 apple pies for free. . . . I then had to vocally anounce to the back kitchen that I wanted my money back since the manager doesn't want to do her JOB. I also asked the manager is they are gonna pay for the detailing service to remove the tartar sauce that has now soaked into my seat. She proceeded to ignore me and as she pulled money out of the register. Didn't even look at me or even APOLOGIZE for the mistake. This place is a joke. I have been to many McDonalds and this one is ranked at the top. Crew is super friendly, food is fresh and place is always clean. Not perfect but always willing to correct the problem without any problems. Left my phone and wallet there once and got them back with everything still in its place. Located in an excellent area with lots of parking. Nearby stores makes this a perfect rest stop to rest your feet from a long day of shopping. Kids love the spacious play land area and its two separate play lands makes it ideal for my ten year old and my two year old to both play and not get hurt. Want to really have fun go when they are hosting a bike night event. The hawk radio station, interesting people, meet the management team, Ronald McDonald is there to meet and greet and not to mention the pretty cool bikes!!!! This is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. They are always out of something. No inventory management. The managers are incompetent. They, themselves rip you off of the fries by filling them half to a third full and trying to hide the fact when they dump them on the tray. When you talk to them about it, they look at you like a deer in headlights. They have no people skills. The head restaurant manager acts unprofessional behind the counter. I live near this McDonalds and will tell you it is one of the worst w.r.t. food quality. Yesterday I got a Quarter Pounder with Cheese via the drive-thru. I live only a mile and 2 minutes away. When I opened the sandwich wrapper I could see it was dry and tepid in temperature. So much for McDonalds's new "100% fresh beef from North America and cooked right when you order it. It's hotter**, juicier** and full of flavor.cooked to order." Ridiculous. And the roll was stale too! I guarantee this was under a heat lamp for at least 15 minutes, and probably a lot longer.
