The interior and restrooms appeared clean enough, and I noticed that someone was actually on duty wiping the tables after customers leave. So my gripes: 1. Expensive! $7 for a burger? While I have absolutely no love for the Five Guys product whatsoever, sometimes you just have to suck it up because that's all there is. We were out shopping with some sort of delusion about seeing a movie the night of the snow/blizzard back in early February, normally Five Guys would not have been anywhere on my radar but they were the only food establishment open in the area as everything else had already closed or was closing early. So we figured if the employees were nuts enough to stay open then we were nuts enough/hungry enough to eat there. Naturally because of the snow the place was deserted with the exception of three guys taking a break from their plowing duties and I guess this would explain why the food was done so fast. Normally that would have been good except too fast with burgers equals not fully done and since Five Guys prides themselves on well done only this was a strike. The fries were I alright, mostly because I don't remember, although another strike is that this location does not have the Freestyle Coke machines that the Allentown location has and the drink area was a bit sticky/dirrrrty. Credit to the shift supervisor? for asking how the food was even though his idea of doing it was to yell at our table over the blaring radio as we were finishing up. Overall Five Guys is still to me all sizzle with no steak. The fries are over-salted and the burgers pick up lots of grill grease along with too many "mystery chunks" of ?? to make it worth eating there. Quite honestly if anything else close by would have been open we probably would have stopped there instead. Lesson learned. (P.S. to Jason K. : Five Guys as the "cream of the crop" for fast food? My go to is the bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, ketchup, grilled onions, and pickles. It is delicious. I always go in thinking I need a big burger but in reality the little burger would have been more than enough for me. I think their prices are a little high since you can get basically the same thing at any fast food joint for much cheaper and they don't have anything special like restaurants normally do. This location has lost my business for the foreseeable future. I am shocked at the lack of urgency and how long the food takes to prepare. In person my last visit took over 30 minutes to make our food, so next visit I ordered ahead on the FiveGuys app and still had to wait 20minutes when I arrived! Now twice on Grubhub the food has been over 40 minutes past the expected delivery and its not Grubhub! App shows food started at 7:20 when we ordered at 7:10 and it's now 8:22pm! I travel and eat at fiveguys a lot but you have lost my business and I will be actively sharing my experience with friends and family. Not all locations are this bad, management, organization and urgency are appalling terrible at this location. read more

Let me start by saying I love Five Guys. I've eaten in them all over the East coast. What is going on in Easton? Last night was the first time I've ever been really disappointed. First off the wait was ridiculous. If they are jammed I understand having to wait. That was not the case. When we got the food it was terrible! The fries were lukewarm at best, greasy and very dark in color. The burger was so well done it was crunchy. The bacon was hard as a rock and was inedible. The buns tasted stale and dry. This is the first time I've received a burger where the cheese wasn't even melted. We were more than dissatisfied. If we hadn't waited so long I would have complained but at that point we were already late. Next time we will eat elsewhere. read more

Do not order online! Ordered 3 burgers online tonight and went there to pick them up. Can't really check the burgers while there, so you have to wait to you get home. One burger was missing onions and mushrooms. It had ketchup, which wasn't asked for. The second one was missing bacon and mushrooms. Only the third one was right. When spending $40 for burgers and fries, the order should be right. It's not that hard to follow the printed receipt, yet this place can't get it right. I've heard of but never came across a Five Guys until I ran into this place by accident. It's part of a shopping area between other stores so I never noticed it before. Their signage isn't in your face like McDonalds so you could drive right past it. The place has an old-school 50's type of vibe, simple, white and red tiles, etc. They have a big box full of in-the-shell peanuts fro you to snack on while you wait for your food; never seen that anywhere else. We ordered: bacon cheeseburger (excellent, much better than McD's), BLT (great), and fries (good but too limp, McD's has better fries). The staff are very friendly and easily answer menu questions. The food here is a bit more expensive than other burger joints but considering it's my 1st visit I don't mind since the food is great. Will try again. read more

Such a shame! Where do I start. Well we went into this account tonight - 4/23/17 at 7:22pm - as we entered the restaurant we were welcomed to one of the male employees complaining that he was the everyone's whipping boy and yelling it loud enough that the four tables inside were looking at him. Then he came around the customer side of the counter and grabbed 4 cups, went and got drinks and then went back into the kitchen. A few minutes later he came walking into the kitchen with a handful of hotdogs, screaming "Hot Cocks..get your Hot Cocks". All the staff was laughing at him including the young lady sweeping in the dining room, who appeared to be a manager of some sort. My girlfriends son asked me what did that man say, and I said he said an inappropriate word not to worry about it. It was then when the young lady went into the kitchen and said something to guy. Shortly after we received our food and went outside to eat at the picnic tables since it was beautiful outside. We sat down and my girlfriends little bacon cheeseburger had no bacon on it. She went back inside and spoke to another guy (cashier) behind the counter and he was very helpful and apologized for the mistake. He asked who made the burger and it was the very same gentleman that was yelling earlier. The cashier that she spoke to asked that cook to get her some bacon for the cheeseburger. The cook put a few pieces of bacon in a 2x3 foil tin and handed it to the cashier. The cashier asked the guy to put more bacon on the tin and the cook said she doesn't need more bacon...right ma'am...why do you need more bacon?! My girlfriend just stood there in amazement that this was happening. The cashier told the cook to keep quiet and just put more bacon in the tin, which he did. As she walked outside the cook began arguing with the cashier saying that woman didn't need more bacon. Now when she told me all this it took a lot not to go inside the restaurant and say something but then what would that prove?! So needless to say I will NEVER step foot inside another 5 guys just out of principle and will make sure to let everyone know about the disrespect that we encountered during this visit. Fair warning: I'm grading on a curve... this is not a Michelin travel guide restaurant, I think we all get that. So, in comparison to other fast food chains, Five Guys is pretty much the cream of the crop. And this store in particular has been good to me - it's clean, and the food is pretty consistent.. I'll also give the staff good marks - I had a couple of occasions which called for some customer service and in both cases they were very accommodating. So, if you're someone who say, hates Five Guys, I guess you will not enjoy it. Their fries, no matter how greasy and disgustingly unhealthy they are, they are DELICIOUS. My mom and dad seperated when I was 2 or 3, but Five Guys brings us all together as a family. No matter how crappy you feel, the food'll cheer you up! But if you order a small burger, you will get a fairly big one, but that's how they chose to make their burgers.
