This is how many fries I was served. Paid $10 For one meal. I expect to get what I ordered not half of it.

I just had a craving for McDonald's. Maybe nostalgia. I ordered a meal via the app. I got a deal. Big Mac deal. Big Mac, water, fry for $10.99. They charge me $.30 extra for water. I guess it's because it comes in a bottle. Burger was as expected. I think the thing that upset me the most is the fries. I didn't need to have all the fries, but it kind of leaves you with a bad feeling when they don't fill up your fries. Also, I ordered head went through the drive-through and then still had to go and sit at a number. I don't understand how you don't have a big Mac ready. I hadn't been to McDonald's for years. And I won't be back again for quite a while.

Pieces of black plastic in my iced coffee. I called to let them know, no refund or replacement was offered. It wasn't coffee grounds, I put the pieces between my nail and pushed and they didn't break. It's hard plastic.

    Old and burnt.

Dude, check on your apple pies. Disgusting had to throw it out. Consistency of a chewed up now&later, burnt, and who knows how old? Thanks!

February 23rd, the Year is 2024...
Called to retrieve my 2nd in 2 days; FAVORITE McDonalds dessert: A Warm Caramel, Caramel Sundae.... :)
    Jana Leigh T.

~Journal Entry, Friday, February 23rd, the Year is 2024 I was surprised today @ around 1400 hours , when I went to snap some photographs while in-store retrieving my small order, I realized that I had not crafted an unbiased review for this McDonalds locale... My beloved Mother, Dar T., openly has shared with the world that McDonalds is her favorite place to dine; in the world; no matter what.... After living with her & our animal babies for the past 6 years, she's kept to her love & loyalty of the McDonalds Restaurant Chain.... I took a few photographs & uploaded them to this review. There's more than one photograph, of the Hot Caramel Sundae WITH EXTRA Hot Caramel in it, because, I'm performing a legal "experiment" to compare & determine if the "extra Caramel Topping" is the same at each McDonalds Restaurant, because the day before yesterday, Momma & I while running errands in Modesto, California, stopped off & I treated her to her favorite dessert here, Hot Fudge/Chocolate Sundae & I, a Caramel... The area that sparked this small part-time experiment is that I ended up paying yesterday, over/almost $10.00 USD (United States Dollars) if not more for one soda & 2 ice cream sundaes.... The area that I'm perplexed about is that, the sundae cups have definitely SHRUNK A TON. In all seriousness the cups the sundae come in are tiny & about 2/3 SMALLER than they used to be yet the price skyrocketed, from under $3 to over $5 depending what market/McDonald's your frequenting... I've been eating McDonalds food & Frequenting their restaurants since I was a wee-small kid & so much has changed for the worst over time & so much has changed for the better with time... An example, is that my other favorite item here is their Decadent, Strawberry (this is relevant to the above situation I'm describing) Milkshake's, size has plummeted to a small/medium size why they raised the price on it as well; therefore, I no longer partake in purchasing them; just like I usually refuse to purchase the caramel sundae I mentioned earlier. While looking on Google just now, for a price on the Strawberry Milkshake which I didn't locate, I stumbled upon a very SMALL article written & published by USA TODAY. Verifying this information, returned the following information: "Amid backlash over $18 Big Mac meals, McDonald's will focus on affordability in 2024, CEO says" Published by USA TODAY & Written by Gabe Hauari, USA TODAY on February 6th, 2024... What I found interesting in this tiny article on McDonalds & their Pricing Dilemma is pasted here from the same article cited above: "The CEO of McDonald's told analysts on an earnings call the restaurant chain will focus on affordability this year after the company took some heat for price increases that have not gone unnoticed by customers." "I think what you're going to see as you head into 2024 is probably more attention to what I would describe as affordability," CEO Chris Kempczinski said on the earnings call Monday." "The company has taken criticism for jacking up menu prices that have turned off some customers. The New York Post reported in July that a McDonald's at a Connecticut rest stop was charging $18 for a Big Mac combo meal." https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/food/2024/02/06/mcdonalds-will-focus-on-affordability-2024/72490417007/ After spontaneously, locating this informative & useful article on McDonald's & their "RE=ORGANIZING" from what it appears (but isn't stated clearly), not only within this article but as a consumer spending their resources, it appears to me that McDonalds may be experiencing some fears dare I say; concerns, about keeping their doors open... An idea, or 3 or so to McDonald's as I rely on them for weekly fountain sodas as does my beloved McDonald's loyal Mom: 1. Maybe save some money on Employee Uniforms & make things simpler by seeing if Walmart does or could, provide you with your choice of T-shirt with or w/o Embroidery & the same goes for their pants they each wear. Maybe offer long at least to the knee or just below the knee or lower; comfortable professionally fitting skirts for men & women; it's not a gender thing its a clothing fitting properly thing... A ton of money maybe, could be saved doing this as most employees I encounter have rich & tailored outfits on, except their shoes. Maybe you've already have this area of frugalness covered so it's just the thoughts, of one who spends time in different McDonalds weekly with my Momma and without but mostly with, as she loves eating there more than once each week; for each month.... She's expressed frustration & disgust with how much your prices have increased WHILE CHANGING THE ORIGINAL SIZE of each item for sale, to embarrassingly tiny sizes even for a child when the order is for an adult... https://www.hatchwise.com/resources/the-complete-history-of-the-taco-bell-logo

Check your drink before you take a sip! I wish I had! I just picked up a meal with my kids after a long week but had to dump it along with this house fly that was inside :(

We ordered kids nuggets which come with 1 sauce each. They did not provide the sauce. When we asked for the sauce they wanted to charge for them. We told them we never got the sauce in the first place. 2nd i went to change grandbaby in bathroom & there is no changing station available. Apparently they expect you to lay them on the dirty floor to change them.

After dealing with a horrible experience at the McDonald's on Countryside drive, McDonald's on Geer road did a great job with my order - 100% right and 100% satisfied.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted right away and promptly seated (I had a reservation, but honestly didn't need one around 8:30pm--there were several tables open). For drinks, I ordered the 1915 Elder Fashioned ($20) and my wife had the Peaches and Dreams ($20). Both cocktails were perfectly crafted and absolutely delicious. We started with the Argentine empanadas served with bone marrow and chimichurri--two good-sized empanadas for $24. Great flavor and a solid way to kick things off. For my entrée, I ordered the hanger steak cooked medium--it came out perfect. It was served with Roth Fries, which might honestly be the best garlic fries I've had in a long time. Fresh garlic, Parmesan, parsley... just done right. The steak was topped with chimichurri and came with two dipping sauces--everything worked. My wife ordered the Kung Pao Street Noodles with grilled prawns ($36), and she loved it. Overall, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a standout experience. Our waitress, Janet, was amazing--super attentive and helpful. Whenever I asked about dishes I saw coming out, she was more than happy to explain them. We'll definitely be back.

Located off Geer and Tuolomne, Jams @ 209 is a cute little sports bar that also serves an extensive menu including wings, burgers, pizza, and tacos. Every wall (and even right outside the establishment) is lined with TVs all playing different sports and music videos with a huge focus on 80's music (perfect for the Gen X-ers who seem to frequent here). Upon entering, we seated ourselves at a corner booth and a few minutes later did a nice lady provide us with menus. The SO had ran to the restroom and the nice lady asked me at the table if we wanted to order drinks. She upsold a rum and coke (the SO's favorite) not because she had asked the SO on his way to the restroom like I had thought, but because they have a happy hour special on them and a few other drinks. What a coincidence! The special was $5 for certain drinks between 2-7PM. The nice lady also tried upselling me to get a drink for myself. I feel like after saying no the first time, she shouldn't have pushed with an "are you sure?" two times after. We ended up ordering: Onion rings - great fry and crisp batter. One of the reasons I chose to come here. Mac and Smash burger with side salad - uses Kraft mac-n-cheese type noodles that were a little bland. But with everything put together (pepper jack, fried onion strings, and chipotle sauce), the burger was delicious. SO was impressed with the side salad lol It wasn't a basic garden-type, but more spinach, cucumber, cheese, croutons, etc. PB&J Protein Power burger with sidewinder fries - double patty made this reaaaal meaty. There was a subtle pb&j flavor which was nice, but wish it had more. Sidewinder fries were like the jojo's version of curly fries - thick and potato-y. All portions were big and I thought proportional to the price (esp in this economy). What soured our meal was when we received the bill. There were two line items for +$0.75 for cheddar cheese. I spoke with our nice lady server and she said that it was because we got cheese on our burgers... *question marks??* 1. The item description for both our burgers already include cheese 2. We didn't ask to sub any type of, or add more cheese 3. If we were going to be charged for cheese, we weren't prompted about it beforehand. We didn't get the charges taken off until after these 3 statements were made. I get it, $1.50 isn't much but it's the principle of sneaking in $1-2 for something we didn't ask for. It makes me think they do this often at the expense of patrons under the influence. Just a warning for future customers, double check your bill!!
