I'm extremely disappointed with my experience picking up a mobile order today. I arrived inside the restaurant and waited over 10 minutes with no staff present at the counter--no one cooking, no one speaking, and no acknowledgment that I was there. After about 5 minutes, staff finally came out but immediately began preparing drive-thru orders instead of addressing the customers waiting inside. During this time, the manager walked past me at least four times while on his cell phone and never once acknowledged me or offered assistance. To make matters worse, he got into a shouting match with a young female employee directly in front of me, which was highly unprofessional and uncomfortable to witness. At the 10-minute mark, I finally asked the manager if my mobile order was ready. He simply said they were "working on it." He eventually placed my order on the counter and walked away without any apology for the delay, no explanation, and no basic courtesy such as "thank you" or "have a good day." The food was warm and on par for McDonald's. Mobile ordering is meant to save time, but this experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and poorly managed. I hope this location addresses its customer service standards and managerial conduct moving forward. Side note: the outside of the restaurant was clean as someone was out there sweeping. read more

DO NOT stop by this place..they will make you wait until they decide they want to help/do their job. Their service is very poor in this area and never seems to care for their customers as well as their own employees. The food is okay sometimes looks like a sloppy mess and most times I have items missing in my order. Just about two weeks ago I had ordered through mobile app right before closing hours on there and was told by the manager that they would refund me and the points would be removed seeing as I didn't get ANY of my food I ordered so two weeks pass by and I still see they charged me for food I didn't get! Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with cheese and large fries. Paid, drove away and find out they gave me a spicy chicken sandwich with no cheese that they charged me for or sauce or pickles. Basically it had nothing other that the bun and piece of chicken. Drove back to mcdonalds and have them remake it after they asked me if I wanted sauce on it idk why. They remade the sandwich and fries. I get back to eat my food and see the fries were old and burned after he added them to oil again. What a joke and waste of money. Do not come to this place. I was about 45 minutes into my 4 &1/2 hour drive home, I hadn't hit I-5 yet, when I saw a sign announcing the return of the McRib and knew I had to have one. I'd seen an advertisement a day earlier claiming that the McRib was only available at select Southern California locations and figured this might be my only chance to get one because San Franciscans, even the ones that eat at McDonald's, tend to turn their noses up at the McRib. There are people that don't understand why some of us get excited when McDonald's brings back the McRib. It isn't because we think it's a good sandwich, we know it is not. Some of you grew up in a city but most of us didn't; we didn't have particularly sophisticated or stimulating surroundings, we didn't try sushi or udon until we were adults, we weren't raised on take out. For a good percentage of us eating out, even at McDonald's, was a real treat. McDonald's promoted the McRib as something special that only came out every once in a while and we bought the marketing hook line and sinker. To us the McRib represents fond childhood memories of a simpler time when we had fewer worries and concerns. This is a standard McDonald's. The staff is friendly enough. They still use the two-window system so don't forget to stop at the first window to pay. This was the first fast food I'd had since St Patrick's Day and probably the last until Shamrock shake time comes around again. read more

I don't visit McDonald's often, however, this morning I swung through the drive thru to pick up some breakfast. The lady started speaking through the speaker before I got to the speaker. I told them I need a second to look over menu. The lady acknowledged. After about 10 seconds she asked if I was ready. I ordered as I felt rushed. There were no other cars in the drive thru. I pulled up to the window to find her hand already hanging out the window for payment. I seriously had to pull away from the window slightly to keep from hitting her hand. I paid to find that the person at the second window had my paper bag of food hanging out the window while I was still at window 1. My first visit on June 6th, 2018 wasn't great, but I left my expectations in the car. I placed my order on of the self-serve kiosks that will soon replace all form of cashier-customer interactions. It is convenient to not deal with the rotten demeanors that plague this industry, but that's another discussion entirely. Order placed successfully. After sitting in an unkempt dining area for 15 minutes, a cashier yelled my order number and notified me that "we've run out of that flavor." Mind you; this visit was NOT during a rush. Restaurants cannot plan for everything; I can understand that. When such an easy solution causes the remainder of my order to wait around at room temperature, I'm disappointed. I am NOT a big fan of McDonald's food, but I AM a big fan of the special they run every summer where all of their drinks (any size) are only a dollar. It's that time of year yet again!! And, as a bonus, their soda fountain boasts three different diet options: Diet Coke, Diet Dr. Pepper, and an unsweetened ice tea. This McDonalds location, on the Northeast corner of Palm and Hwy 46 in Wasco is a super convenient drink/pit stop on my drives North from Bakersfield to the Bay Area. Their restrooms are clean and well stocked with toilet paper and soap, though they smelled a little funny. They boast two XLERATOR hand dryers, the KING of the hand dryers. These are seriously my favorite hand dryers ever as they quickly dry your hands, usually in less than 30 seconds. McDonald's, you make quite a pleasant pit stop. This McDonald's is usually reliable, but the stars were just misaligned for them today or something. First off, we ordered cheeseburgers, yet we got McChickens. Secondly, their ice machine for the fountain sodas got busted and couldn't produce any ice whatsoever, so an employee had to take a small bucket back-and-forth several times to fill up the damn thing. Thirdly, I ordered 2 McDoubles also and inside one of the McDoubles was a piece of chopped onion that was as hard as a bone. It almost chipped off a piece of my tooth.
