The food in this photo was AMAZING!! The honey walnut shrimp had perfect texture, orange chicken was crispy with fulfilling flavor just how I like it, and the chow mein was heaven per usual!! The service was absolutely terrific and our server, name being Evelyn, is very nice :) She approached our table in a kind manner, asking how our food was! I wasn't going to write a review, but after having a horrible experience at Blue Sushi and eating here instead due to the experience I thought I would. Food at panda is always hit or miss regardless of the location and today the food wasn't the best BUT the customer service absolutely made up for it. The girl taking my order in the DT was so kind and continued to be so when I got up to the window to pay. For me, customer service is always the most important when It comes to deciding where ill be spending my money which is why I always go back to panda. 11-30-20 The Best Panda Express I've had in more than a decade. Seriously. I dunno what has happened, but Panda Express has suffered one of the greatest declines in the fast food industry I know of. What used to be deliciously juicy, savory, crisp and fresh, now is a mess of raw rice kernels, soggy fried stuffs, and long lines of people oblivious to the sad state of the chain, served up lukewarm. But enter Wasco. Wtf. How is this little town in the middle of nowhere hiding the greatest Panda sanctuary in all of America??? The Orange Chicken was ultra crisp, standing up to that syrupy sugary maybe-orange slime with ease. No, I wouldn't say the chicken meat was drippin' juicy, but it was fine. The Beijing Beef was easily the crispiest fried beef I've had anywhere, fast food and fancy live-abalone serving top-end Chinese restaurants alike! Seriously. And get this--my gf requested brown rice instead of fried rice and I couldn't believe it--perfectly al dente, perfectly even. I mean it was cooked better here than standalone real Chinese restaurants! All served up steaming hot. And to top it off, it was soooooo CLEAN. Glass separates you from the counter, as required for #Covid19 #CoronaVirus compliance, clear glass I stress. But the best part..... If you're passing through and don't want to die from something far worse than COVID sitting on some gas station toilet used by who knows who, smeared with something the same color and bumpy texture as that Beijing Beef... Literally got a single item meal & got one piece of beef in my broccoli beef. I paid $11 for some rice & chow mien. They are always out of pepper chick & it's an 8 minute wait. The staff are not very friendly & if you do not ask for hot sauce they won't give it to you. The worst panda I've ever been to. The food is fine, the service or horrible!!!!! I order from this panda weekly as I work in Wasco. I order from the app so it's ready when I go to pick it up. I'm there at my intended pick up time sometimes a cpl minutes late and the food has not even been plated yet!! it is not like they are busy every time I show up to this panda there is never more then 2 ppl in line. so plenty of time to get online orders filled in the time slot they are intended for pickup. Worst Panda I have been too by far. The lady at the drive thru, was very disrespectful and rude. Not only was she rushing me to order my food, I still had to wait 30+ minutes to get my order. Seems like the workers in this establishment would be better at mixing concrete then making food, by the fact of how long I had to wait. To top it off, the menu was wrong and out dated. This Panda Express restaurant is not the best. I've gone to various locations and they have better service and shorter wait times. This location always seems to have a wait on many of their choices of entrees which sucks if you want something quick to eat. I've wait about 30 minutes for steamed veggies. I also visited this restaurant at 9:00pm which is an hr before closing, and they stated all they had was a choice of two meats and only chow mein and stated they couldn't make anything else. What a bummer thought I would save a trip to Delano but it's looking like a no. Also, the portions are ridiculously small !!! They barely add meat or chow mein.
