Every time I come to this particular location and my order is longer than a couple of items seven times out of 10 you're gonna be missing something and if they ask you to pull one of the spots upfront because there waiting on something you're almost guaranteed to be missing something they don't make errors when it comes getting your money, but there's almost always an error when giving out your food I've been to so many McDonald's all across the country but it seems like this one in particularly it seems like they. Today is Sunday, January 10, 2021. The drive through is open. No dining inside for now. We went through the drive through for a sweet treat. I got the hot fudge sundae and an apple fritter. The sundae was a nice size, vanilla ice cream, and hot fudge paired well. Tried something new with the apple fritter. It smelled awesome and tasted fresh. The lady that took our order was pleasant, same with the lady that gave us our food. We didn't have to wait too long for our food. We would definitely patronize this establishment again. read more

Despite the 1 star review, this isn't any worse or better than any other McDonald's right now. I wasn't really sure where else to go. I'd never stopped for breakfast in Washington. I missed the correct exit for Tim Horton's in Wheeling, WV, and I'd only ever stopped at Dairy Queen in Washington, and it was gone. I ordered the Two Sausage Burrito combo with Orange Juice and they added 50 cents for the Drink Upcharge. The store really didn't seem made for the kind of crowds coming from I-70, especially since Washington is the nearest, biggest town east of Wheeling. If people didn't see what they wanted there, and a lot of stuff is hidden in Wheeling, they're likely to stop in Washington. The service was friendly and it didn't take long for the food. I wasn't told about the extra charge for orange juice, so that's somewhat annoying. The burrito wrappers had all sorts of stains on the outside, which didn't seem right, but the food tasted fine. The dining room was okay. I wouldn't call it spotless but it wasn't horrible. The parking lot was inadequate. It seemed each person had two vehicles because there weren't many people inside who weren't working--or standing around a machine listening to an explanation. It's McDonald's. I'm not sure where to start. This is has never been one of the best McDonalds, the service is usually slow and the drive through is always slow. However, today was worse than usual. The self serve where you put your order in was not working and it said to go the register. I go to the register and wait. Some guy was doing something with the french fries and never acknowledge me standing there. The floor behind the register was filthy. After several minutes of being ignored and other people walking in. I left, will find some place else to spend my money. :-( read more

Dropped in to grab something to eat last night and the girl at the counter was obviously not happy about being there...she punched the screen as we gave her our order, glared at us as if WE were the problem, and didn't know how to make exact change without the help of her manager. They had me wait about 15 minutes in the parking lot for my nuggets, cause they hadta cook up a batch, receive my order with an apology coupon(cool). Bite into my first nugget and swallow, I'm starving, I like nuggets. I bite them and I swallow the yummyness, or rather what I assume is yummyness. The nugget felt strange in my mouth and I thought, "Wow, this whole half of the nugget must be just batter." I look into the other half of my bitten and swallowed nugget only to find that I have consumed raw chicken. I went inside, received a refund with a none-too-apologetic-or-even-ashamed "Sorry." And proceeded to their restroom and engaged in some forced vomiting. read more

Usually I go there with no problem. Coffee is great. However today I ordered three iced coffees and got three hot coffees. I payed 15 dollars for three warm coffees which I can't even taste because their so hot. The line was packed so I wasn't going to wait 30 more minutes to get what I actually ordered. read more

In the last 4 weeks I have stopped at this McDonald drive through to get some breakfast on my travels. The first one about 3-4 weeks ago was awful. I sat in line 25 min. and no cars were moving. I went inside and people were lined up inside. The machine was spitting out orders to the left and right and nothing happened. Wow. I left and went to Taco Bell next door. Last Sunday I stopped again thinking that things were moving better. Not at all I sat for 15 minutes and no cars were moving. I left again and I will chose another place to get something in the future. The service was poor and I probably would have thought better of the place if someone was coming outside to notify the people in line that maybe they were short of staff or something. read more

I sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes before I received my food. I sat there for an estimated 5 minutes before they even took my order. This is not the first time that this has happened where I have to sit for 15-20 min. There were 2 cars in front of me. The 1st car in front of me was sitting in front of the window for at least 12 minutes. Why wasn't that car asked to move to a drive thru stall so that the other orders could be served. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers without onions, a small fry and a large coke with extra ice. It isn't a huge or complicated order. When I pulled up to the window, the girl (ks#3) did not greet me. She did not apologize. She said nothing to try and make the situation better. Of course, I did not say anything about this to her because I did not want my food to be tampered with (happened at Jefferson avenue to someone). I drive home and eat my food. My cheeseburgers are covered in onions and I have no extra ice in my coke. I also have no napkins from the bag. I am aware that kids could call off and they are short staffed. They could have told me that there would be a wait. Once you are in this drive thru, you are stuck. Bring back the drive thru timer that turned red when they went over 1.5 minutes. read more
