They took care of everything, which was a godsend during our grief. Mom had arranged for cremation. Her ashes were returned to us and an extremely difficult time was made much easier. The owner who met with us was gentle and compassionate, exactly what we needed. Although we are not planning on leaving anytime soon, my husband and I discussed making our arrangements ahead of time, to spare our daughter from having to make those decisions. Mr. Douglas came to the house to discuss what we wanted. A very nice man, Doug explained what services were available, including viewing, a service, a funeral, or cremation. He quoted the prices, which we felt were fair, and made our decisions. He completed the necessary paperwork and we were done. We learned is that the money paid in advance is held as a life insurance policy by an independent insurance company. Final arrangement are secured at today's prices. Also, the policy guarantees that the contracted services will be provided even if the funeral home is no longer in business.

REALLY!!!! A town near by charges $450 A previous worker stold funds from people that purchased plots so now the people who have them are being threatened with this extra charge. After speaking to the new owner ALBERT VALTERRA he mentioned that the previous purchase was null and he could have charged for the plot again as well but didn't.. He also mentioned he would resume the body if we did not pay fee and take it back to the mortuary. My mother had prepaid for a policy in California to cremate her remains. McClain and Bridget were very helpful with this issue and it basically covered everything. Because my mom died on a holiday, everything took longer than expected. We did have to make a few follow up calls, but they were always responsive in getting back to us. We would reach out to them again.
