My wife and I went there yesterday to put Christmas decorations on her sister's site. We had a tough time finding it because it was overgrown by Bermuda grass and weeds. We cut the grass and weeds away so you could see her marker. In addition (same as last year and every year before) you had better have thick shoes or the goat-head stickers will make life VERY uncomfortable for you. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! (as they say in TV ads). It's amazing that someone hasn't been injured, trying to walk on the sidewalk in area 9 (couldn't really tell if it said area 8 or area 9 on the curb). I have photos of the sidewalk. I didn't bother to get pictures of the squirrel holes next to the sidewalk. It's the same ones that I took pictures of last year. My wife and I and my daughter and her husband have niches at their sister cemetery on Grant Rd. My wife's parents are already in a niche there. The difference between the two cemeteries is like night and day. I had already paid off our niche a while back, but upgraded to a different one a few months back. I showed the pictures to our rep. Obviously she had to be diplomatic about her response, but you could tell that it was obvious neglect. How difficult would it be to take the two sections of sidewalk that go up and down and replace them? Bags of concrete are only about $5.00 per bag. It would probably take 5 bags at tops. It's cheaper than someone getting hurt.

The prices are reasonable and the staff helpful. Particularly when I was getting a little anxious about getting the death certificates which are provided by the county. Our family is going through a very unexpected tragic death for a young person, we had a PAID $5500 wake from 5-9. One lady was working (older small Hispanic with a long braid) who was UNBELIEVABLY RUDE, NO COMPASSION, and was yelling snapping at not only the family but the guest as well. We paid to be there until 9pm. She told us at 8:05 we needed to start telling people to leave, get out flowers out of there and she was going to lock the doors. We asked her for a HDMI cord to play a slide show, she told us go home get our own in the middle of the service. At 8:05 she started to close a partition off, forcing others to squeeze into a small space and telling people to move. We then kindly spoke to her about her bad attitude and she yelled at us told us we're taking our anger out on her and it wasn't her fault. We pointed out things she did , then she had said "well I HATE WOKING night shift, I will never work night shift again and it's just me". We told her that wasn't our fault she should contact the director and let them know. She stomped around for a few minutes throwing stuff and huffing and puffing. Then the mom spoke to her again about her attitude and she told her "you're just angry about what happened". We could not believe she would tell a grieving family we were just angry. We were not angry we were saddened and in grief. Then the very end the parents and girlfriend wanted to say there last goodby alone while everyone left and also put one more item in the casket, she would not leave the room and wanted to clean up because she needed to get out of there. MIND this is a paid service. She said we were not allowed to add anything to OUR casket we paid for. She screamed at the girlfriend and told her she was going to break the casket by opening it. We had seen how they open and closed it many times, nothing was breaking. This experience was shocking and sad. Never ever use these people in a time of heartbreak or grief, as they'll add to your stress and not help.

And up until recently we've always had a wonderful experience. My cousin passed away suddenly and it devastated all of us. We had a very large group of people featuring all his friends and extended family. We have always had rather large gatherings before and we have always celebrated the life of the deceased as much as mounted their death. However for some reason the woman hosting us today seemed to take issue with that. She had come up to us and told us we were being too loud. Seriously? No one complained everyone in our family was grieving it's not like you have to worry about us. We are literally all being loud together? How are you going to get bent out of shape. Forget this place
