We found immediate friendship in every aspect. The employees and the residents made us feel right at home. The dining room is unbelievable. We can select from a large menu. We can eat anytime of the day we choose. The food is of the highest quality. On the main floor is a large living room where we all gather for events. Entertainment is provided often. And it is entertainment of the highest quality. We were extremely apprehensive last July before we made the move. But the apprehension is totally gone. We love this place. We are truly at home.

You only hear of places like Mill Ridge when something goes wrong, never the daily things that everyone does right. You don't work in this industry if you aren't a caring individual and EVERYONE that I came in contact with there certainly was that. This is a great place and has a great staff. My husband was a recent patient at Rainier Rehab for a hip fracture…read more We had problems from the beginning getting the staff to move him safely, feed him a diabetic diet, administer his medications and weigh him at the proper time. Most of the staff were very accommodating. However, because the doctor and nurse practitioner were unwilling to adjust his medication when he needed it, my husband has been hospitalized for a week. He developed huge water blisters and sores on his legs as a result of their negligence. At one time, he was left on the toilet for so long and the nurse did not respond to the call light, so he had to get up himself. There was constant urine on the bathroom floor because the equipment was old and inadequate. Many times there was noone in the halls or at the nurses station through the day. Wait times for a response to a call button many times exceeded an hour. It is only pure luck that he did not fall again undertheir poor care. The facility is old and outdated. The phone didn't work properly due to being old and dropped so many times. I had to bring in many things from home because they provided a bed and old nightstand period. We chose this place because we were told it was a 5 star facility with a doctor and nurse practitioner 7days a week. There was no doctor or nurse practitioner on site on the weekends. Be very careful if you place a loved one here. The staff is friendly and seem caring, but when you need real medical help, the doctor and nurse practitioner make the decisions. In my husband's case, their negligence caused him a week in the hospital.

While my mother is no longer with us, I was so incredibly grateful for Elesio and her care team…read more The time was crazy difficult, she initially entered for skilled nursing rehab, later was medicaid bed, hospice, then, well passed. Every person we interacted with were amazing, kind, professional, compassionate. My mom was a high maintenance client, but they were firm but friendly. I will forever be grateful for the team at Elisio that made those months that were stressful and scary...for both of us, bearable. The receptionists upon entering the building, always bright and bubbly, always on point, juggling residents, visitors...all the things, with smiles and amazing energy. The NAC, CNA's RN's, rehab personnel, and the case managers, ....so kind and knowledgeable, I had incredible conversations with accounting - never a fun call, but they just worked with us, helped us, guided us, and were truly there every step of the way. Nobody wants their family member in long term nursing care. It's hard, but sometimes there are just no options, and Elisio was absolutely the best option.
