He gave me a tour, and encouraged me to come by anytime. Triathletes are permitted before and after hours, and he instructed me on how to pay the $10 entry. Park hours were 10a-5p when I went but you can swim anytime. You can pay via QR code or cash. You do need to sign a waiver, but only once. Your first time I recommend stopping by during hours. There is a place to rinse off. There were several other swimmers when I was there. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. The best part was the water! It was warm of course given the time of year but it was beautiful. I much prefer this to Lake Longhorn. Two laps is 1.2mi, four is 2.4.

The changing booths are not very reliable, so it's recommended to change in your car or truck post-swim. There is a hose available for rinsing off after your swim. While there are nice picnic tables, there are no designated secure areas to leave your belongings while in the water, so it's best to keep all valuables in your vehicle.
